Came here for date night at it was lovely! We had seen this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try! The ambiance: This place is located in a small food hall! There were other great options too! So this would be a solid date spot or meeting with friends so everyone can get something they like. There is a fair amount of seating inside and a fair amount of seating outside on a patio. There really isn't a view for the patio. There are free parking lots across the street though! Service: This is where they lost a star from us. The woman who took our order had no energy, wasn't very friendly and just looked annoyed we were ordering. I had heard good things about the service, so this was a bummer. The food: We got them take out wings and each got the pork ramen. The wings are very good, but best in twin cities? No. Are they worth getting? If you love a crunchy wing, then yes! Mom's fried rice with a side of chicken was delicious. The Japanese Curry Moco was okay, if you love a gravy-like curry then I recommend this dish. I recommend going during a nice day do you can sit at the patio and enjoy the weather. The interior of the restaurant is a pop of color too. Thanks to a Tony Cu TikTok we checked this place out at Eat Street Crossing we ordered the Oboreta Dango and kimchi fried rice to share while I ordered the Blaze of Rengoku ramen and my wife ordered the Kurimichikin. The Iboreta Dango were fabulous, some of the best gyoza we've had...little flavor bombs! The same could be said for the kimchi fried rice even though we only had a few bites it was every bit as delicious the next day for breakfast with some fried eggs on top. Last but not least the ramen! Rich and wonderful and loaded with stuff other than noodles. I got the tonkatsu ramen after they told me ribs were sold out. He said it was the next best thing on the menu so I happily complied. This was by far THE WORST ramen I've ever had. I'll give them that the noodles were chewy but I swear it was majority whole milk in that broth which was just so nasty and out of place. The pork chasu was also so dry. I was so disappointed. Met at ESC with a group of foodie friends. We were all set at eating at Staff Meeting after seeing all the foodie content on social media. The menu has items that don't list what's in the dish and this limits me a bit as I don't eat seafood, beef or pork and need to know if that's involved before spending my money on it. I asked the employee if the moms fried rice had beef/pork or seafood in it and he said he didn't know but before he finished another employee from the back cut him off, so I skipped it. Some others in our party said it might have pork but turns out - find out days later it doesn't have any meat. There was also a bit of language barrier as we ordered certain items the employee was trying to tell us certain dishes had fish sauce, which I appreciate the warning. We ended up ordering 4 apps. OBORETA DANGO (DROWNED DUMPLING) - veggie version THEM "TAKE OUT" WINGS ATTACK ON TATER - w/ chicken chashu DRAGONS BREATH The dumplings and tater tots were good. The wings and dragons breath were decent and crispy however we encountered bloody chicken at which point I get pretty grossed out. The space is small we did see a big tub of cooked chicken further back and wondered if they just flash fry it and add the sauce. We also seen a huge tub of raw chicken so maybe they cook it when you order but either way definitely need to make sure it's fully cooked. A few others ordered ramen and they weren't very impressed but I won't go into details as I didn't try it. It's a great concept but not sure I'd go back anytime soon. read more

Chef was friendly and the energy inside was welcoming. You could tell he loved what he was doing and that says a lot. The space is perfectly decorated with tons of anime features and and open kitchen feel. There is a huge open space to sit right outside of the restaurant which I loved, you had more than enough space. The ramen broth was spicy and flavorful. All the toppings were really good. I wish the pork belly was a little more charred but that's a personal preference. The take out wings were super crispy and juicy and had good flavor. I went here for trivia at Eat Street Crossing on Mondays. My partner and I come regularly but haven't tried much food there. We hadn't eaten so we decided to try out some of the restaurants there. The service was quick and the price was ok for the portions. It was later in the evening so it wasn't very busy, but eat street crossing itself is fairly popular in the evenings. I ordered the Vegetarian ramen. It came with cabbage, tofu, carrots, and mushrooms in a soy sauce based broth. Overall, this wasn't anything special. The broth was too salty for my taste and didn't have much depth in flavor. The veggies were nice but I would have liked more on there. The tofu was okay, it seemed likely pan fried. This is my first time going to a ramen place in Minneapolis so maybe my expectations were too high, but I'd skip and try a different place if you are vegetarian. There were so many different veggies and layers of flavor, it was definitely one of the best vegetarian ramens I've ever had! The grilled bok choy was an especially nice, smoky touch. I wasn't expecting to have a spiritual awakening when we randomly decided to pop into Staff Meeting but when I put those ribs into my mouth I think I saw God. Stopped in on Black Friday and was greeted by a dapper mustachioed tattooed man who cheerfully explained the menu, and when something was sold out, quickly proposed a delicious work around. Top notch service! The interior had anime playing, really funky bright manga style comic wallpaper everywhere, with lots of wood, wide windows and garage bar style seating- a really fun breezy vibe. A lot of the names in the menu are pop culture references, which is unique and playful. We got the take out wings, the ribs, the sesame balls, the pork ramen and the curry rice bowl, which he generously adapted with the karaage, since the chicken katsu cutlet was out. It was a really tasty swap! The ribs were stunningly tender with crispy onions and a delicious sweet salty glaze. These are enormous ribs! The generous portion of the takeout wings was perfectly battered and crunchy, with tender juicy meat all glistening with a sweet teriyaki style glaze. Both had green onions and a sort of sweet pickled radish accompaniment. The pork ramen had a silky rich broth with fantastic mouthfeel and a great depth of flavor- I could drink a gallon of just this broth! The noodles were springy, the egg jammy, and the meat flavorful. I would reorder this in an instant. Highly recommend! The curry rice bowl with the substituted chicken karaage was really hearty, filling and comforting. The chicken was perfectly tender, while being crisp and crunchy, and the Japanese curry sauce was thick, savory and smooth. The spice profile was perfect, not spicy but perfectly balanced flavor. Such a great dish! I'd love to try the curry loco moco with this sauce next time. Finished with the sweet sesame balls which were dense and chewy and the right level of sweetness. All in all it was a great meal in a relaxed cool environment. We had a lot of leftovers since the portions are so huge, but they just tasted better later. The tornado fries were alright. I honestly thought it was something else, I should have done a better job at choosing the right item to try. The chicken wings were decently a good size. It wasn't big, but it had enough meat. The chicken wasn't dry, and it was crunchy. The services, they give you a buzzer to grab your food. However, the front person was great and welcoming. We ordered the Kurimichikin (chicken ramen) and Dragon's Breath (chicken karaage) to share between the two of us. The food didn't take too long and you could see them making it. The staff was super helpful and pleasant and looked like genuinely enjoying what they were doing. We sat on the bar stools on the counter. The place is very casual and you can sit in the main hall or outside if it's nice or in the restaurant itself. The food came out hot and and presented very well. The karaage could be a little bit more crunchy but it was well cooked. The taste was good and it wasn't as spicy as I expected. The ramen was tasty and had good flavor. The egg was a little more hard boiled than I am used to but tasted good. Overall I would say not the best karaage or ramen I have had in the cities but a decent meal which was quick and reasonably priced. read more

One of my favorite spots to grab a bite, and one of my favorite bowls of Tonkotsu Ramen in Minnesota! My go-tos: - Tonkotsu Ramen. Many ramen shops here MN, the ramen is either too salty or lacking in flavor. Staff Meeting is one of the few spots that does ramen right. It's also not a copy cat tonkotsu ramen. Their tonkotsu ramen embodies subtle unique and delicious flavors. One of my favs for sure. - Gon and Gillua Pig. Pork Ribs that I believe is deep fried, yet is still moist and tender. This is how SouthEast Asians do ribs, so I love this and would highly reccomend. - Moms Fried Rice. This is a sleeper pick here. Cheap. Simple, yet delicious. This paired with the ribs is a perfect combo. - Drowned Dumplings: Dumplings/Gyoza covered in a chilli oil, topped with crispy onions. A perfect combo of flavors and textures. Not like your usual boring gyoza in MN. Chef Louross (a bit of a flex, he's a Hells Kitchen Alumni), and his team, likes to do Friday specials too (more so showing the community his background), and they always look delicious. read more
