Great place for service but sales are questionable! Moody's is located in Mars and is completely family owned and operated. They service and sale Can Am, Polaris, and Ski Doo. I have been taking atvs here for about 4 years now. The service department is great. they do a great job and it is usually a very speedy turnaround time. They always seem to tell you if there are additional problems and what to do about them. There are not alot of accessories in the store. They have some for both atvs and motorcycles but not alot. Finally, sales is a bit questionable. My husband tried to purchase an atv here and they said they didn't have it. They made no suggestion to get one or order one. Very strange. I also tried to order him tires and received no return phone call for price. I love to support the family owned businesses in Pgh and will continue to use them for service and my atv needs. read more

I purchased a 2016 Polaris Adventure Snowmobile from Moody's brand new. This sled has had to have something fixed every year! First it had an antifreeze leak, then the gas tank needed replaced, then a broken shock mount, all work done by Moody's. In February of 2019, while in New York, the sled fouled a spark plug on the PTO side. Took it to Moody's, they had it for 3 weeks and I was told it was fixed. Fast forward to January of this year, on our first ride in Michigan, it fouled a PTO side spark plug. It fouled a spark plug at least once every day, some days twice! Took it back to Moody's as soon as I got home, canceled a trip to New York. I was told it had a leaking injector and a broken shock mount in the front of the track. I was told the parts were ordered and it would be ready to pick up in two weeks, Jan 31st. My daughter, who is military and needs to plan leave, and I scheduled a trip for Feb 10th. Moody's was well aware of our plans. When it still wasn't ready to be picked up on the 6th of Feb I was assured it would be done Saturday, when it wasn't done Saturday I was told it would be done Monday the 10th " if they had to scavenge parts from the floor models". So my daughter and I took them at their word. She flew in Sunday and we went to pick up the sled Monday morning, Feb 10th. When we arrived, the sled was not ready. They were waiting for UPS to deliver parts! It wasn't until we sat around for 5 hours and said "H#$$ with this, we are leaving!" that the mechanic actually went and got parts off a sled in back. Thinking the sled was fixed we set out for our trip, having lost half a day sitting around in Moody's. The first day out, the sled fouled the plug on the PTO side again and every day after. I have gotten really good at changing spark plugs in this sled, having changed a total of TEN! Needless to say my sled STILL IS NOT FIXED! And to make matters worse the fuel gauge no longer works! They did a software update on the gauge (that I never asked them to do), they never bothered to put fuel (it was full) back in the tank. It seems they can't fix want isn't working and they break stuff you never ask them to look at. There is no way I would ever take my snowmobiles back there again. read more

Service review: I recently had a gummed up carb and a seized choke cable on a brand new Polaris sled (400 miles last season). They cleaned the carb and replaced the choke cable, and informed me to start using StarTron to treat all my gas instead of StaBil as it is superior due to enzyme activity. And they put StarTron in my tank as well. All for $70 bucks. Turn around was not too bad (1-2 weeks) but they were very, very busy, getting a bunch of sleds repaired for the winter and I was not in a rush at all. Thanks guys. See you again. read more

Dont go there! I dropped off a ski doo motor for new seals they sais it would only take a week two weeks later nothing then they called said crank bearings were bad they would send crank to wisconson for repair and it would only take a few weeks. This went on for 2 months every time i called justin said next week boss it will be done. To make a long story short Justin coulndt even keep his lies straight. He gave me a price origanlly of 200 bucks, then he said shipping company would foot bill for crank what a bunch of bs total bill was 402 bucks 3 months later got motor back it was missing a few bolts and they didnt even out my clutch back on! I would not ever go there again i will drive 100 miles to another dealer in erie pa. read more

I would not advise anyone to go to Moody's. Me and my husband wanted to support our local businesses, and we were shopping for a new ATV. We arrived to a large crowd of employees hanging out in front of the shop. We wandered around outside a bit then headed inside. No one asked if we needed help while outside or inside. We headed back outside where my husband had to ask the group if anyone could help us. One young man helped us as well as he could. When we wanted to talk price he said he didn't do that because he worked in the shop and we would have to talk to the owner. We waited outside the owner's office while the kid went in and described what we were looking for and what could he do on the price. We could clearly hear the owners responses, from where we were standing. I immediately detected attitude and heard him saying "the price is what is is! and it's going up $200 tomorrow!" OK well do you think being the owner you could come out of your office and introduce yourself and see if you could help us???!!! NO he sent the kid back out to basically repeat everything we had just overheard him saying (although the kid didn't say it with as much attitude). Sadly we will not be supporting our local Mars community by ever buying anything there!!! Maybe they only pay attention to you if you are buying the more expensive toys and not JUST an ATV. Either way I would not suggest going here unless terrible customer service doesn't bother you. read more
