Easy parking, and there was plenty of options on our stay. Sorry not photos, we were too tied already and jut crashed. Our room was clean and large but sparse. The air filters in the A?C needed cleaning and smelled of mold, I cleaned them myself and sprayed them down with a travel Lysol I carry and then everything smelled fine. Bed were comfortable as were the pillows. We had breakfast from the buffet and did not use the short order cook because we were in a hurry to hit the road. I would stay here again. read more

I spent one night here while visiting friends for the weekend. This location is very convenient to nearby eateries and several shopping options. We were immediately greeted upon arrival by friendly staff. I had already checked in online and received my digital room key due to being a Hilton Honors member. This is very convenient especially if you arrive late and are pressed for time...like me,lol. Rushed to the room to change really quickly. Was pleased to find it nice and clean. Though my stay was brief it was pleasant. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and the areas were clean. I will stay here again next time I return to the city! read more

An amazing stay! I stayed here for a week on business. Check in was super fast and the room was super clean! It was nice and big, and the bed was SUPER comfy. All of the team members were amazing and very helpful. I loved the area it was in, I was able to walk to the Waffle House and try the Graeters ice cream right out front! PLEASE ask someone to take current pictures of the exterior and interior. Do not go by the pictures on their website. We went 4th of July weekend of 24'. It looks as if the hotel has been under construction for a loongg time and it should not be open to the public yet. They appear to be short-staff. The receptionist was kind enough to refund my money. We ended up staying at The Hawthorn Suites next door. Someone needs to get the word out about the condition of Kings Inn. It is not fair to tourists to be surprised when they get there. I was so upset I forgot to take pictures. I did appreciate the professionalism of their front desk staff. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in the past few months, and I thought I was going to have a better experience this time, but I was disappointed again. I really want to like this hotel, the location is great and the lobby and grounds are inviting, but the staff and housekeeping are not up to the level of service as other HGIs. I walk into the lobby and I was nevel welcomed as a Diamond Member....Other Hilton Properties always do acknowledge the loyalty. I walk into my room and the bathroom smells musty....The comforter has dark curly hairs on it, which was disgusting ( I checked in late and I was tired after a long plane ride, the last thing that I wanted to do is to repack and change rooms...I said...what the heck... The next day as I walked around the room in my white socks, I noticed all kinds of hairs and dirt on the sole of my white socks....it seems like the vacuum cleaners at this hotel are not sucking dirt nor hairs from the carpet. My room had a whirpool tub, so I decided to relax after a hard day at work....just to notice that the jets had mold in them....c'mmon !! what kind of housekeeping manager do they have at this location? During my second night, I got a call from the front desk, asking about my experience....I said: I think the housekeeping needs some improvement, the guy on the phone said Thank You and hanged up....he did not ask me what issues I had, what areas of improvement I thought the hotel needed.... Don't bother getting the "suite"... It's a regular room with the room to room door open with a table and love seat in the extra room. And the suites are at the end of the halls, the duct work in the bonus room will keep you awake at night. Walked into the bathroom and we were left with a dirty toilet paper roll from the last guest! Gross! We were treated terribly. When we checked in we asked for a late checkout so that we could sleep. We were told by the guy at at the desk we could check out at 1:00. The next day we called around noon to ask a question and were greeted by a nasty woman named Leslie. She said they had been waiting for us to check out. We politely told her that we were told we could check out at 1:00 and she did not believe us. Also, no apology from her for her rudeness. At checkout, she asked who told us we could check out at 1:00 again and we told her. She said "I'm gonna have to talk to him" and still did not apologize and still rude! We did the survey and explained how we were treated, and we received an email from another person at the desk asking what they could do for us. We did reply, and she has ignored us ever since. We contacted her twice, and we are still being ignored. Why send an email offering help if you aren't going to reply? We were treated like we did something wrong, which we absolutely did NOT and even cleaned up after ourselves, which is our way. I would never stay at another Hilton because nobody cares and they treat guests badly. read more

This was the best experience I've had at a hotel in a really long time!! These people went out of their way to make my visit here ( and everyone else that walked in the door) the best experience away from home it could be. The only negative I can say is that the construction may be a little on a cheap site.... or there was a group of elephants from the local circus staying in the room above me ‍ because those were some very heavy foot steps. Awesome experience though. Bed was comfortable.... pillows were great. TV station selection was great. And there was a ton of stuff to go and do around the hotel... eat and shop! read more

This hotel is a bit of a mess! No towels in the fitness center or pool (I didn't go in the pool cuz water looked "suspicious"). I went down for breakfast and the omelette they made me was burnt brown, hash browns were dry, sausages were burnt then oatmeal was cold. The room was not cleaned after the previous guest! The front desk was apologetic but could not assure me the bed linens were even changed. The night shift front desk brought clean towels and bed linens to my room but just handed them to me. I had to strip down the bed and change the sheets myself. This was a basic fail of one of the non-negotiables of any hotel stay...especially a Hilton property. I expect better. read more

Sis and I just stayed at the Hampton Inn in Mason, OH for the Western-Southern Tennis Open - it was on Bardes Rd, not Natorp. Headline on chalkboard next to registration pointed out "NOT part of HHonors." Front desk staff was friendly, but . . . the door to the bathroom was a sliding barn door that closed either the closet or the bathroom; not soundproof, and with no vent in bathroom, room could get stinky if you pooped! Note: Warn other occupant not to reach into closet when exiting bathroom! or the sliding door could break an arm! e 3 drawers in the room were wire, so T-shirts and other folded items had "ribs" imprinted across them. We had to ask the front desk for soap (none in the room when we checked in). When another guest asked for soap, heard the manager tell front desk there was no more soap, and said to offer the guest shower gel! Internet was slow, no Tennis Channel on tv (although we'd been told there would be), and had to scan a label pasted to the dresser to get a channel listing (no cable remote). Ice machine on our floor was broken. Concession stand had snacks but I didn't see any of the usual toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, etc) that one might need when traveling. Internet was very slow (it was hhonors). Stayed here because we thought it was Hilton and sis had a bad experience at Marriott in FL - guess we'll try Marriott again . . . read more

My husband and I checked into this hotel last night because it was suggested as a stay for a wedding occurring nearby. The hotel itself is nice but nothing out of the ordinary. The desk clerks were cordial upon check-in. I requested a steamer and was surprised that none was available throughout the hotel. They did say that the iron had steaming capabilities. The room itself was comfortable if a little dated. My two complaints were that this was the darkest room and bathroom I had ever been in in a hotel. To try to apply makeup or even just to see what I was doing in the room with all of the lights on was a challenge. I did use the ironing board and iron for the dress I was wearing to the wedding and struggled as my skirt was satin and the cover on the ironing board was so thin that I had to place a towel on top of the ironing board so as not to iron the imprint of the metal board onto my satin skirt. Check out was easy and again the desk clerk was friendly. read more

I always stay at Hilton Garden on business travel. Always had a good experience. I am very disappointed in this HG. Coffee pot was covered in dust. No do not disturb sign, so stopped at front desk and asked them to suspend my housekeeping service. Not s problem they said. I came back from a long day of work, room had been serviced. One would think since they noticed I used the coffee pot, as the replenished coffee pods,but didn't replenish the coffee creamers??? I then went down for a glass of wine. The glass was so dirty, it looked as though it hadn't been washed. Tv signal kept going on and off. Needless to say, not a great visit and will reconsider staying st a HG dyeing my next business trip. read more

Extremely bad service. Found a female underwear on the floor from the previous renter when I first enter my room. Hotel cleaning team did not pick this female underwear. Found ants scrolling on desk, chairs and my bed. Took underwear picture and short clip of the ants scrolling on my bed to show the front desk. Fitness room was too hot. Asked front desk to adjust the temperature but nothing was change. Very bad! Will not come this hotel in the future. Found a lot of positive reviews, but my experience was very negative. We made a last minute reservation here a few weeks ago and got a decent rate, despite the fact that the hotel was "full." The room (king bed) was plenty big for two and had the convenience of a fridge, microwave, and Keurig machine. Wireless internet was free, which was a plus. The room was spotless, and the curtains kept the room nice and dark ,so I could have the potential to sleep past 6am! If you choose, there is a decent breakfast set-up in the lobby (not included with room price). Coffee, tea, and fruit infused water are available throughout the day for no charge. And speaking of food, the hotel is right next door to Graeter's Ice Cream, Cincinnati's well known ice cream chain! Several other restaurants and stores are within a few mile radius of the hotel, as well. My only complaint (other than not having a free breakfast) was that the two people we spoke to upon check-in were not very polite and completely ignored what we told them. Would definitely return when we need another night's getaway! read more

They only clean the rooms when they feel like it, this week "clean" left me with someone's sick trash (love it when my room was cleaned by someone sick) and my bathroom reeked of mold and saw some black mold on the shower curtain. We were looking for a hotel to stay at to kick off our Kings Island trip. This hotel fit all our criterion: pool, close to the amusement park, and at least three stars. The entrance has a clean and modern style. The concierge staff was quick to check us in. When we entered our room we quickly turned around since there was only one queen size bed and there were two of us adults and two children. Common sense should have alerted them that one bed wouldn't have sufficed. The kids are happily playing in the pool but it appears that the water is cloudy and cold. Thankfully the one end of the pool is shallow enough that us parents don't have to get in too. Overall, we would return here if not looking for a swim. The rooms were nicely remodeled and clean. And an added bonus is that the hotel is walking distance to Graeter's ice cream! read more

We visited this place for a family wedding and were very disappointed for the most part. The Night Auditor that check us in and we had interactions with on a couple of different times was great, the rest f the staff.....MEH. The Hotel was overrun with college baseball and female basketball teams that were about as rude and unruly bunch of college students in sports programs I've ever run across. Our room was skipped being cleaned one day we had wedding activities that were timed, we were gone an entire day for 9 hours and came back and our room hadn't been made up, Inexcusable, hence the comped night, but the other killer was the 12.00 Breakfast thats the same as any motel six, or supper 8 or comfort in gives for free...Disappointed in the Hilton Garden Inns read more

They are supposed to be adjustable, but even the softest level isn't soft at all, and i definitely do not recommend setting it on "hard" - you may not be able to get up. I was in town for two nights, a quick business trip. I pulled in late at night after driving in the rain for an hour. I was given my hotel key and the front desk person was very nice. However, I asked to have a room not on the main floor and was told the hotel was full. So, okay I settled for ground floor, which would not have been a problem except for the fact there are no curtains that close! Anyone who walks by can see into the window, you can not possibly expect the white sheer curtains to block peepers in the parking lot. Anyways, to the main point of my complaint. I checked out with no problem, didn't have any issues with my bill upon check out. I got back to my hometown that Friday night (Nov 8). My room was paid for under my boss' company card so I only had to cover incidentals. I checked my bank statement the following Wednesday Nov 13, and I have a 400+ hotel room bill on my credit card. Now, I know the room service prices were a little steep but not that high! I called and was told that the manager would call me back by end of day. At about 5:30 my time I received a call from Ray, the manager addressing the issue. He claimed that the card was used for the person who checked in at 7:30- before me. I checked in after 9 pm that night. He had no explanation for the mess up. At that point I had other bills to be paid with that money and I wanted the problem solved and some sort of explanation. He just apologized and informed me he'd have the money expedited back to my account the next morning (Nov 14). As I have yet to see a refund, November 18, 10 days after my stay...I have now paid interest on my credit card on the $400+ amount added to my balance. Also, I have not received any additional follow up, nor have compensation for the interest I'm paying on a comping someone elses room on my credit card. I can't imagine what would have happened if I didn't catch the mistake! Ms Harris, who ever you are, I imagine you're enjoying your free stay. I will say, the only attempt at an explanation that I was given was that the room I was charged/paid for-- was called in over the phone. He insinuated that the person who called in to check in at 7:30 had my credit card. I assured him that the card/info was in my possession and that no one checked into a different room with my credit card. What I can possibly imagine is that the guest service representative who checked me in-- had the previous check in info on the computer screen while entering my credit card info. OR when manually entering the card upon check out a representative used my card instead. Either way I'm appalled at the fact the name on my card does not in any way match the name on her reservation. Seems like, at some point, a RED FLAG for FRAUD should have been noticed. I have spoken with a female manager today as Ray is out for a few days. I was told " I understand but it takes time" multiple times during the conversation, not given an explanation and at all and I don't think I've even heard them say "I'm sorry for our mistake." Clearly, since the woman checked in before me and checked out a day after me, someone handled my credit card information incorrectly. read more

Hilton gardens is poor place to stay. Not to overly priced but not worth the $$. They have free WiFi (not the best connection). If you want better WiFi they charge you $4+ per day. The beds are rock hard. I sleep better in a tent, pitched on a rocky uneven hillside. I had 3 pillow on the bed (all 3 were different sized) Ice machine didn't work. The room even has a funky smell. Carpet was filthy. Not sure if the room was even vacuumed. There was stuff still on floor. They do serve food onsite. However I have tasted better food at a run down bar. Breakfast is over priced. My wife tried 2 omelettes and both tasted like old fish. They could easily offer a free breakfast. Pool for kids but not very big , wait staff was not friendly at all and just didn't care if you liked the the food or not. Not even and apology. Our server even gave us grief when we said our son was 12 years old. (12&under eat free breakfast). Also was discussed by the fact They had cleaning products siting next to the food and silverware.(i am sure they really don't use it). I plan not to return here and advise other to seek stay elsewhere. read more

Clean and still new. Restaurant and bar open to lobby and fireplace seating area. It's like a living room away from home. Work out room has nice dumbbells and machines. Pool and hot tun are just right. Breakfast is very good. Full kitchen, not a continental. Omeletes are great. read more
