General - We stayed at this Hilton after we finished a cruise to the Bahamas and before we drove back to the Orlando area. We wanted something right on the beach so that we could just crash and chill for a day and soak up the sun. Location - Decent location right in the middle of Cocoa Beach. There are several restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and convenience stores within walking distance of this place and the hotel sits right on the beach. Ron Jon Surf Shop is just up the road. Rooms & Building - Hotel is a nice-looking building that looks to have been remodeled recently. Rooms are decked out in a modern design with grey and light blue accents. Most room balconies offer 1/2 views of the ocean since the tower sits adjacent to the beach, but I think almost all the rooms get a balcony which is nice. The rooms are spacious and served our family of 5 comfortably. There is a huge parking lot with plenty of parking. The parking lot serves as a buffer between the hotel and the busy main thoroughfare, so noise was kept to a minimum. Amenities - The hotel sits right on the beach and offers an easy walk to Cocoa Beach. The wooden pier that goes to the beach also serves as a great place to have a picnic and watch the ocean waves wash in. If the beach isn't your thing, the outdoor pool was vibin' with live music and freshly made cocktails from the pool bar. Lots of seating in the sun offered a chance to catch some rays and take a nap. Our kids enjoyed the outdoor games like giant chess and connect 4. The lobby has a little arcade off the side and nice, big bathrooms for the pool area which made it easy to change clothes instead of having to go all the way up to our room. Food - There is a restaurant in the lobby that overlooks the beach and pool area. Breakfast is not included with your stay. We didn't try the restaurant, but we did try the food and drinks at the pool bar. Drinks were big and had a generous pour to them. Food was pool snacks and satisfied our fried food craving. Vibe - Easy going and friendly staff. Pool bar staff were chatty and made a decent drink. If you just want to chill, have a few drinks, and splash in the pool or ocean, this place hits all those marks. Reality vs. Online - Pictures that I saw on their website and online matched the quality and condition of the hotel and rooms in-person. No surprises. Price & Final Verdict - I paid for this room with Hilton points. If I didn't, it would have been around $480 a night. The location is right on the beach in a very popular part of town and we were traveling during Spring Break season, so I understand the price tag. If you want a place right on the beach but not looking for a huge resort, this place will meet that demand just fine. Not sure if I would always pay that price but if I found a deal, I would stay here again.

Winsow was a little dirty but it is the beach

Great place for a beach front hotel experience. We booked very late to the time we were going to stay for the recent holiday weekend. For a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and leaving Sunday morning it ran us about $850 plus $12 a day for parking. The room we had faced the beach but did not have a balcony, which we didn't mind even if it had a parking lot view. By choosing this option we lucked out and got the room that faced the beach, but was also over looking the pool on the second floor. The room was clean when we arrived but overall you could tell it needed a little maintenance. One of the baseboards behind the toilet was pulling away from the wall. Pros: You are right on the beach Great view of the ocean Restaurant in the hotel Starbucks in hotel Large pool deck away Close to other amenities (publix is right across the street, Ron Jon's is about a mile half down the street, same with the cocoa beach pier) Felt safe Front desk staff was nice and polite Pool was cleaned each morning early Plenty of parking We're able to see a satellite launch from the beach Security cams Cons: Room could use a little maintenance . Windows on our floor looked like they had not been cleaned in awhile. It really makes me mad that they charge for parking even if you are staying at the hotel not like they were short on parking spaces. There was a suntan lotion slick on the pool water surface (not sure if anything could be done about this, but was very disgusting while swimming). First day we were there some jelly fish were washing up on the beach, none after that. Becareful where u setup your beach stuff the umbrella company that uses hotel area will tell you to move, we did not move... Pizza from restaurant in person didn't look like what thru had on the inside of the elevators. Ice machines are only on 2 floors and it wasn't ours. You can hear the music playing in the pool area until about 11:30pm, didn't bother us but some might have a problem. All and all a great stay. We booked direct through the hotel website and seemed to be the best price.

    Very comfortable bed

The room was very comfortable and clean. We slept really well with the patio door open listening to the sound of the ocean. There's a very very noisy bar on the first floor so you want to avoid rooms nearby. Parking is an additional charge! And they add and extra hundred dollars onto your room charge for incidentals so just be aware. It is supposed to be returned to your credit card at some future date.

I'm staying here for a mouth for a business trip and must say This hotel Hilton Garden Inn Cocoa Beach Oceanfront is by far the best in Cocoa Beach Florida. My 2nd time here. So much parking. This is such a beautiful hotel. The rooms are beautiful. They have a refrigerator and a microwave and a balcony. They have an arcade, a restaurant and even a Starbucks, a gym and even an area you can rent out for huge meetings or gatherings Front desk/ bartenders/ kitchen staff and server Ashley are very professional and polite. Bacon cheeseburger is a much do here in Starlite restaurant on the first floor. They have a pool, outside tiki bar(great margaritas) dock that gives you direct access to the beach with an outside showers to rinse away the beach sand. Only thing is they have NO jacuzzi. :/ still doesn't come close this hotel is it. Still got 2 more weeks :) looking forward to it.

Disclaimer first: I was here for two nights for a work function, so I didn't see any of the fees associated with what has to be a resort property for Hilton. About 45 minutes from MCO, the area is very sleepy beach town along the lines of Long Beach in CA. They assigned me to the 4th floor which isn't at the top but I had no issues with neighbor noise and the beds are comfy enough to help you ignore what little noise does leak into your room. I'll let the pics speak for themselves but you can see that the beach theme factors heavily in the room aesthetics which are clean, white and airy. You have access to a full balcony which is a rare token of trust from the hotel industry. (Remember the days when you didn't feel like leaping to your death on your vacation?) Lots of charging opportunities on your nightstand and the work desk. I particularly liked the charging pad on one of the lamps. There's a Publix and the 4th Street Fillin Station just down the street for food. I didn't have time to try the built-in restaurant, Starlite Cafe which had a very appealing menu or have need of the Starbucks coffee bar extension of the pantry snack and supply shop in the lobby. Overall, HGI isn't my top pick when selecting a Hilton hotel, but this is one of the nicer ones I've visited.

Just a few little dabs of glue holding a giant framed print in place on the headboard.

Hilton once again screwed up our reservation (their connecting room 'guarantee' isn't worth the pixels on your screen - there's no note in the reservation at the site, so if they have to adjust reservations for any reason (guest request, room needs extra cleaning, AC needs repair, etc) they have no way to see they're breaking a connecting room reservation. Anyway, due to the heroic efforts of the front desk staff we were able to get our rooms re-re-adjusted to be connected. 5 stars for the desk staff. So why only three stars? The room air conditioners have no low setting so they alternate between off and louder than a jet engine. The whole building is chilled down to 60f so I had to carry a sweater in Florida in august. And when I adjusted our rooms to a more comfortable 70f, they stank of mildew. It's just not a great hotel. Oh, and one of our rooms had a big generic hotel art piece on the wall above the head of the bed. Resting on the headboard. Glued in place. It sure is fun trying to get a good night's sleep while you worry about a giant framed art piece falling on you if the glue gives out.

Not sure why there's such low reviews of this Hilton garden. We thought this location had everything you needed and was remodeled and new. Much better than the Hilton two hotels away. The restaurant is new clean and expansive. Nice bar and patio pool area. Short distance to the beach. Rooms were very clean and everything was perfect. I stay at multiple gardens a year and this is the best I have experienced. The restaurant wait staff was very nice and we're college students. All around we'll stay here again.

Cocoa Beach from the Balcony. Nice accommodations.

The Kennedy Space Center is nearby by. We are traveling the east coast of Florida for the first time.

A picture from our room balcony that was supposed to be an oceanfront, but it was only a partial ocean view

Is there a laundry room here?

Yes we stayed on the second floor and just outside our room was a laundry room. We didn't use it but they looked newer. As you get off on the second floor from the elevator turn right and it is an open room on the right by the window looking outside.

The bad... since you can't control ignorant guests that let the heavy doors slam, the hotel needs to figure out how to stop it. They slammed all night long. The beach... Hilton has a huge parking lot this is open to the public for $25. The influx of people that would otherwise beach at the Motel 6, was never ending. Suitcase size radios with competing music was exhausting. Pool.. nice that it was heated in March and the splash pad is thoughtful. The actual pool area is small, chairs are tired. 1 Star (because negative star is not an option) - BUG-INFESTED DUMP. DO NOT STAY HERE…read more A few years ago, this place was okay. My most recent stay? Hands down one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. This "hotel" is more like a BUG-TEL. Sure, it has beach access and a nice view, but that's bait. Do not fall for it. The so-called "upgrades" are lipstick on a pig, and once you're inside, it's all downhill. Check-in was a joke; the front desk woman was curt, dismissive, and borderline rude. No welcome, no hospitality. Then I walked into my room... and it was over. Once I got in bed, I was eaten alive by bugs all night! It was like trying to sleep in a buffet--for the bugs. I couldn't rest because every time I tried to close my eyes, I felt something biting me. My son and mom (in a separate room) were asleep, so I literally sat outside on a chair all night long, reading just to avoid being attacked. The next morning, covered in bites and running on zero sleep, I told the front desk what happened. Did I get an apology? Nope. She actually acted like I was the problem. As if I would invent a story about bugs and being awake for 36 hours just for fun. Yes, the sunrise was nice. Yes, I saw two rocket launches and some cute little crabs on the beach. But no amount of "Florida charm" can make up for a night of torture. Bottom line: this place is a bug-infested, customer service-optional nightmare. The cheap price and pretty view are a trap. Pay more. Stay anywhere else. I am a Central Floridian and I know for a fact there are better options than this dump.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the free parking was great. The property itself was well maintained. The pool area was nice, featuring a lazy river and even a big screen where you can watch movies while relaxing in the water. One thing to note is the pool towels are not very good so bring your own. There's also a nice sandy lounge area with tables and chairs, plus a grassy space with games like Connect Four and cornhole, making it fun for both families and adults. I also enjoyed the on site bar and cafe, which offered reasonably priced food and drinks. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations, with a great variety of options and plenty of seating both indoors and on the outdoor patio. One of the best perks was the free beach equipment rentals. The hotel offers umbrellas, beach chairs, surfboards, and bicycles at no extra cost, and i definitely took advantage of those amenities during my stay. My room was a basic two-queen setup, but it was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. (See room tour.) Overall, this hotel offers an excellent value with great amenities, a fun atmosphere, and an unbeatable location near the beach. I highly recommend it and would happily stay here again.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place does not live up to its advertisement claims or standards. The check-in process was handled by a female clerk who was extremely curt and rude. It was our first impression of Cocoa Beach, and honestly, it left a terrible taste. To make matters worse, we saw a woman with a teenage child checking in before us--despite the inn claiming to be an adults-only establishment. The clerk gave a dismissive speech about keys and parking passes, and when it was our turn, she asked, "You heard all of that correct, so I don't have to repeat it?" as if we were bothering her. She completely ignored a comment about her adorable fur baby walking behind the counter, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. We received a metal key (not a key card), and when we arrived at our room, the smell hit us--like mothballs or old linens. There is no elevator to access the second-floor rooms, so we had to carry our luggage up two flights of tiled stairs. The hallway was cluttered with construction boxes, which made the walk to our room less than welcoming. The biggest letdown was the so-called "beach view." The property falsely claimed to be on the beach, but the view was obstructed by tall brush and a parking lot, requiring a walk through the grounds, pool area, over a wooden bridge, and through brush to reach the beach. It was far from the direct, scenic beach access promised. The room itself was tiny--an efficiency size with a ceiling-mounted modem that blinked neon green all night, keeping us awake. The bed was the hardest and most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. The bathroom was minuscule; I could touch both walls with arms outstretched, which is astonishingly small for two adults. Their "free breakfast" was a complete sham. What they called "free" was more like a snack bar limited to a muffin, a tiny piece of quiche, a slice of toast (if you ask), a small shot of orange juice, and some coffee. The poached eggs and hot water setup for cooking eggs was ineffective--the water was never hot enough to boil. The toaster was broken, and the entire breakfast experience was a joke. The property was in severe need of updating, with construction materials cluttering the hallways, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance lacking. The parrots kept at the inn were beautiful but seemed stressed and shy, likely due to the poor conditions and neglect. Overall, this inn was an unpleasant, outdated, and misrepresented place that I would strongly advise avoiding. My husband had booked this inn for our 16-year wedding anniversary through Expedia and USAA. Since we did not get a name from the clerk who checked us out and took our keys, we were unable to get a refund. This location was so horrible, that we are fine with not getting a refund as at least we were able to stay at a better location for the remaining 3 nights we were staying in Cocoa Beach. This inn charges top dollar to stay here for false advertisement and to sleep in a broom closet that are old & extremely outdated, uncomfortable. After just one night, we checked out early and moved to a reputable hotel nearby, which turned our stay in Cocoa Beach from terrible to enjoyable. Save yourself the frustration/money and look elsewhere for accommodations.
