This place was amazing. The view was nice. There is a private path to the beach from the hotel and complimentary towels to use for both beach and pool. I didnt get pool or beach pictures as I didnt want to get my phone wet or overheat. But the pool has a mini step around the pool to place your drink. There is a mini bar to order your drinks while lounging by the pool. There isnt many seats by the pool but it wasnt that packed. If you go to the beach, you will need to rent a chair or umbrella unless you have one. The only shade provided is sitting under/beside the pier. But even then random water falls and from where it dropped did not look sanitary. The room was quiet except when the neighbors kept slamming their doors. There are elevators but it does have many stairwells to get up and down from your floor. Breakfast was nice. They had bi uits and grave, bacon, potatoes, eggs, cereal (4), yogurt, boiled egg, oatmeal, juice, coffee and waffles. They also have fresh fruit that we took to go on our way to NASA JFK center (only 30ish minutes away) There were a few places to eat nearby without having to get back on the main road. read more

Initially had problems checking in because they failed to verify identification. They cancelled my booking and made a new more expensive reservation without my knowledge. I am still waiting on a refund from booking.com because of this double booking. Front desk was not much help and did not explain things thoroughly and clearly. Made it seem like it was my fault that they could not verify my ID properly. This was a very frustrating process because the hotel was not any help with explaining why this happened or helping resolve the issue. The rooms were pretty nice though. Service 2/10 read more

Stayed at the La Quinta at Cocoa Beach for a few days as we explore this side of Florida. La Quinta is at the prime spot: a stone's throw to the beach. I can see that this property is dated. Some fixtures, knobs, and baseboards were worn out. But the room, sheets, and bathroom is kept clean. Accessibility to the beach is king and they have ample parking spaces for guests. Overall, we had a good stay at La Quinta and would not hesitate to stay here again. read more

The review below is mostly an email to La Quinta Inn and Wyndham Resorts so please excuse the formatting, but I think it is relevant and appropriate. Hello. I had a stroke on my last night of my reservation. I was unconscious and had to have Emergency Services pull me out of the room. I am 56 yrs old and professionally employed as a Quality Engineer in the Aerospace/Defense industry. I have since lost my job because I had just started a new position. I was only employed there 2 weeks and then this happened. Today is Sun, 22Jun2025 and still in the hospital. I am enlisting my speech therapist in writing this review AFTER countless emails to the La Quinta Inn Beachfront Cocoa Beach and Wyndham themselves with no response. I was hoping that any charges (past my initial reservation of $518.03) could be refunded. Because of those charges ($150 & $120), my checking account is negative (-)$44. I was not expecting to have a stroke nor did I plan on having one. The refunded money would get me home to Alabama after my recovery. Otherwise I am stuck here in Cocoa Beach homeless, without a job and without a vehicle (repossed at the hospital) and without any phone service (discontinued from non-payment. I have no family to get help from and no friends that can help me out either. Please help me. I am currently in the Indian River Rehabilitation Center. I have been here for almost 3 months. I was admitted to Cape Canaveral Hospital on 26Mar2025 and discharged on 04Apr2025. I returned to the ER a few more consecutive nights and was admitted again on 06Apr2025 and discharged on 22Apr2025. Then I was admitted to the the Indian River Rehabilitation Center, where I am currently at. Please help me get back to what's left of my (hopefully) normal life after recovery. I feel the charges of $120 and $150 on 27Mar2025 was directly taking advantage of my misfortune and inability to respond or dispute. I am reaching out to your hotel to rectify these charges and ask that the funds charged are returned to my checking account. I'm not really sure what the charges are for. 1st time visiting Orlando Florida and we picked this hotel because of it's location and I'm glad we decided to stay here for a few days since we're going on a cruise the port is only 5min away the hotel was super clean and really close to everything walking distance and a huge pool and access to the beach we got here a few hours earlier then expected and the hostess was really nice ' JASON ' was super cool and let us check in early and we even got to enjoy the breakfast here also the room was super clean with a huge King size bed the restroom was nice and clean with plenty of towels and a amazing view of the beach. We went on a mini vacay for my husband's b'day/our anniversary. I talked to the people I made the reservation with about doing something to the room so it would be a surprise for my husband. When we got to the hotel nothing was done! I went to talk to the manager Shayne. He was so sorry about what happened that he asked if we could leave for a cpl hours and he would do whatever he could on short notice because the people never told him anything about it. We left and came back to the room filled with balloons, a cake and tickets for drinks at the bar!! We've stayed here 5 times now but I have to say Shayne was AMAZING and he went out of his way to make sure our stay was wonderful!! I would recommend this hotel over and over. An older property, it's still a nice one. Our room was ground floor with a balcony that looked out over the back of the property and provided a beach view. We had a double queen, non smoking room, with 2 very comfortable beds, a table, tv and a large bathroom. Coffee, tea and both fridge and microwave were also in the room. The balcony was that, a little concrete slab that did not open and allow you to walk out onto the beach, which would have been nice. This you can easily step over if you wanted, but there is really no need. 2 plastic chairs and a small table for viewing the sunrise or enjoying the sun. Absolutely NO smoking is allowed on property, even on said balcony. This includes vapes and medical marijuana. There is a nice outdoor pool and bar area and a boardwalk that leads to the beach that is adjacent to the Cocoa Beach Pier. There are sun chairs available. Overall, it's a nice property. We are very unhappy. We always stay on the fourth floor and we always reserve a room with a view of the ocean from the fourth floor. We booked this hotel a month ago by calling directly to the FRONT DESK and asked for an oceanfront room on the "fourth floor or higher". We drove 11 hours to celebrate my husband's 69th birthday in his favorite Cocoa Beach hotel, and found we were dumped on the second floor overlooking the swimming pool, no view at all of the beach. We even called this morning at 7:34 AM and CONFIRMED that we were in an ocean facing room overlooking the beach on the fourth floor with no bloody barking dogs. We've been coming here for YEARS and are extremely loyal to this hotel but this is appalling. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday and this is not what we expected. They also no longer offer parking for cruises, they no longer offer park and ride to the cruise port, and they charge you to park in their own lot! read more

Room was fair but the customer service was ridiculous!! We had gotten off a cruise ship and wanted to spend a couple of nights at the beach. We chose this hotel by pictures we saw on the website. It was not as nice as they advertised. Our handicapped accessible room was a regular room with hard bars in the bathroom. The bed was low and difficult to get up from and the toilet was low and difficult. The shower was a bathtub with a shower attachment. There was a five hour wait for our room. It was the last room prepared. It was made clear we would need early check in and were told they could accommodate our needs. Five hours is not acceptable. My grandson was thrown out of the pool because he is not 18 and not allowed there by himself. The lady was rude to us repeatedly at the pool as well. Don't do it folks. Not worth it. read more

Possibly one of the single worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Upon checking in my son used the toilet and clogged it. Rather than help us resolve it, they handed us a plunger. When we were not able to unclog it and when I went down to ask for help, the front desk manager told us there was nothing he could do and we'd have to wait... without a working toilet until the morning. We called Wyndham's (parent company) customer care line and they said there was nothing we could do other than to file a complaint and they would get back to us in 7 days. When we said we needed resolution to our issue , they continued to say there was nothing they could do; then after several times going in circles, their customer service line HUNG UP ON US.. before we could even make a complaint. This is how Wyndham's corporate customer care treats its customers. No offer to help, no ability to provide resolution, terrible help from the front desk and just as bad service from customer care. Will never go to a La Quinta or Wyndham hotel again since they can't resolve issues on their own properties. read more

No major complaints room was super clean but really old you could tell that there is some damage. The pool area was OK when they say pool bar it's basically a small towel size cart with some alcohol on it. They do however have a nice little waterfall with some tables by it That was nice and relaxing. My husband and I made last minute decisions to take a drive to Cocoa Beach to see the area. We were taking our golden Zeke with us so we needed to stay at a pet friendly hotel. Instead of booking online I called LaQuinta to make reservations. The young lady I spoke with was absolutely the best, so friendly, helpful and I really appreciated all she helped me with. After almost a 9 hour drive we got to the hotel and I checked to see if our room was ready. Unfortunately the clerk at front desk was has well trained as the lady I spoke with when I made the reservations. She never greeted me, was not at all friendly and told me there was a $50 pet deposit and if I wanted refunded I had to personally come to the front desk when I checked out and had to ask for the refund. Got to the room, it was nice, looked & smelled clean, just very small. It is good for a one night stay, I personally don't recommend for more than that. When I went to check out in person, the were 2 ladies at front desk, I waited at least 5 minutes before the one looked up and said checking out? I said yes and she pointed to the other lady. After a couple more minutes she said what's your name, I told her, handed her to room keys (which she tossed), I told her I would like my pet deposit refunded. As she kept rolling her eyes, acting like I was making her do more than her job...I ended up walking out so mad! Didn't say anything to her but unfortunately my husband got an ear full. To sum it up the front desk (both checking and out), ruined my stay there. The hotel does also have a nice big pool area, restaurants attached, free hot breakfast and directly across the street from the ocean. Giving only 2star which could have very easily been a 4-5 star if not for front desk staff. read more

We were very surprised by this hotel and Staff. I started a travel agency and I have been booking travel and hotels-- this time for my self and family. We were trying to save money and find a nice place to stay. After researching for weeks on all my travel sites, air bnb and VRBO---we decided to take a chance on La Quinta Inns and Suites. Why? We wanted beach, beach, beach! There were 6 of us (two Floridians that were meeting us there before the four of us took our cruise out of Port Canaveral). We rented two rooms with beach/pool view. We flew into Orlando and took an Uber to the hotel. We arrived early around 12 when check in is at 4. We had the intentions of checking in our luggage and head to the beach and pier. We were greeted by Claudia and Andrew who were extremely helpful and professional. The internet was down so they apologized they could not check us in yet and if it would be okay to wait and they would check in our luggage. Before I finished getting my swimming suite out to change they were able to check us in. They took great care of our group, explaining the hotel, breakfast, pool area, beach and the next door pier. They took their time with us and included the people that were behind us. We never felt rushed even though they had a backup of work and checkouts due to the internet being down. We had two ocean/pool view rooms that were clean spacious rooms with tile/laminate floors (no carpet yay!) and very large balconies with great views (there are even better views when you book direct ocean views). I was really surprised because of the brand La Quinta being a very budget friendly hotel. Our family from Florida also brought their two little dogs as this is a pet friendly hotel. Claudia and Andrew told us where all the spaces the dogs can go and great dog friendly walks, park and beach!!!!! A bonus to this trip was that there was a manned rocket launch when we were there. The front desk does have a little board announcing all the rocket launches and times. The rocket was launching at 3:52 am. Everyone in Cocoa Beach tells you to walk to the beach to watch the rocket launch. After talking to the owners of the beach chair rentals (right past the walkway from the hotel) he told us it was an inland launch (most space x launches are) and that you need to look over the hotels with the red tile roofs not towards where the space shuttles used to launch. After realizing this and noticing the views from the balconies of the front doors to our rooms on the parking lot side--we realized we would be able to see an unobstructed view from there on the fifth and sixth floors---and we were correct! What and experience and view!!!! Very recommended to stay at the hotel and watch the rocket launch on all inland launches. Breakfasts are available everyday---Eggs, Omelets, pastries, yogurts, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, waffle makers, etc. It was a great start to the day and a wonderful money saver on one meal for the family. The last thing I would like to mention is a very bad interaction from a rude guest and the afternoon/evening guest agent. This guest was completely awful, rude and said some very racist remarks regarding some guests attending an international futbol (soccer) event in Orlando. She was extremely verbally aggressive and rude towards the young desk Agent. He tried to handle the situation very professionally and in a very calm manner. After around ten minutes of continued harassment, the desk agent explained that if she did not calm down and leave the lobby she would be asked to leave the hotel. This enraged her further and he tried to calm her down and inform her that he would have to call for a police assist. The lady eventually left to her room to call management. We were able to let him know (Cody) that those of us in the lobby and pool were witnesses. I stayed with Cody as he talked to his manager on the phone so he would feel safe and secured. He handled himself with such grace under such duress that I was proud of him and I just met him. I was able to follow up with Rachel the front desk manager the following morning upon checkout. She was extremely helpful and supportive of her employee--great to see. So Wyndham Executives---be very proud of your staff they are wonderful! Claudia, Andrew, Cody and Rachel---plus the very helpful facility staff that I did not get their names---You are all stars in my book! The property rooms do not look like this .. further we had a lot of blood stains in our room. It smelt horribly like it was cleaned with bleach. It was so shady that we called the Police to see if something horrible happened like a killing in the room. When we spoke with the manager about all the blood stains throughout the room they said it was from tampons that were left in the trash. However there were no tampons left in the trash bin so the manager of the property had liedIt was a very odd response. Further that would have been VERY unsanitary. Arrived late hoping for a room. Nobody in lobby. Janky sign at front desk says "be right back", so I waited... and waited. Could hear employees in kitchen. Waited more. After 10min, began saying "hello? Anyone here?" Still no response. Inquired again. Nothing. I walked closer to the voices and made third inquiry, "hello?" Suddenly, a short, fat, bald little man in a uniform, followed by a long haired and long bearded man NOT wearing a uniform appear. The employee is immediately SHRILL & RUDE, "didn't you see the sign?!?!?" he damands, while the homeless looking guy just stood there in a daze. Shocked I responded, "yes, but I've been standing here for a long time". This angers the little man who is now screaming like a hysterical woman "GET OUT WITH THAT ATTITUDE!" as he aggressively walks toward me to shoo me away. He must of thought I left, as he rudely turned his back on me to return to the kitchen with the very hairy man. Unfortunately for the rude employee, I was not out of the lobby and I recorded him continuing to verbally abusing me from the echoing kitchen. A moment later, he emerged and realized his blunder as I told him that I just recoded him degrading a prospective guest. Again, he began the shrill, affected, dramatic screaming for me to get out. Why? Because he got caught being unnecessarily aggressive toward a woman traveling alone? The next morning I called the location to speak to the Mgr and was connected to Shane. Immediately, Shane presented as bored and annoyed, declaring he was already aware because his two employees already informed him of what happened. TWO EMPLOYEES? That overly hair, unkept, out of uniform guy was an employee? Yikes... hygiene. Shane goes on to tell me he won't be doing anything about my horrible encounter with his subordinates. I ask if the hotel has video of the lobby. Shane says yes but then declares he will not bother to look at it before he unprofessionally hung up the call on me. I called the corporate office & they took the complaint and assured me that "someone will call you back in one week". A week? Really? So... customer service is CLEARLY NOT the top priority of Wyndham Resorts, hence why their verbally abusive, confrontational front desk employee ran a single woman out of their location in the middle of the night, and the indifferent Mgr allowed it. The 1-800 customer service line is no better... clearly sent to a callcenter overseas...the agent took the complaint but 10min later i received a call from a hotel in AZ asking why i cimpmained about her location. I assured her that I did not complain about her location & that the FOREIGNER getting paid by Wyndham to address complaints did NOT speak English well, hence the miscommunication. Again, I called corporate to correct the complaint, only for the Supervisor to tell me I had no other choice than to speak to Shane. Wow! So the abused woman has to go back to one of the verbal abusers in order to make a complaint with Wyndham? The ineptitude is overwhelming! Cocoa Beach has several better options, therefore I would suggest visitors stay anywhere else than the Wyndham locations. Having to wait a week for the owners of the property to weigh in is lazy, careless, and dumb. Not worth the hassle. I believe the front desk employee DISCRIMINATED against a single woman, as he was clearly a flamboyant, emotionally unstable, SHRILL, gay man quite comfortable verbally abusing a woman in the lobby of the hotel he is employed to provide customer service to. And the Mgr KNOWS that the foreigners paid to file the complaints can't do anything from overseas, hence why he doesn't care to even pretend to be a professional. read more

Very old and needing update! Small bugs in our room, no housekeeping unless you ask for it, you pay $10/day to park AT THE HOTEL YOU ARE STAYING AT! Since when? Very small pool! Rickety falling apart boardwalk to beach ( fix the damn steps)! I left there with bites which I believe are spider bites. No extracter in the bathroom. LOUD A/C unit which blows HOT AIR on you if you're on the balcony. Nice refrigerator/freezer and microwave. All in all shabby. Gave them 1 star for the breakfast ( free daily - delicious) and for them allowing early check in and changing our room for an Ocean front ( of course for an additional $438.00) wouldn't stay there ever again. Pros: *Ocean Front *Served a delicious complimentary morning breakfast that consisted of bagels, toast, cinnamon rolls, waffles, Eggs, sausage, oatmeal, juice, water and a very well stocked coffee station. *super friendly front desk staff at both check in and check out. Especially Zarek!!! He was super friendly. *Room was clean, cozy and had a cute balcony overlooking the pool. We were in room 309 that had kind of a obstructed ocean view but it was an ocean view. *dominos-pizza delivers to this hotel. *laminate flooring so bring your sandy toes in without worrying about messing up carpet. *location is close to shopping and restaurants. *Seemed like the staff took great pride in keeping the grounds clean and looking nice. *sparkling clean pool and they provide towels at the pool area. *parking is included no additional fees for that and plenty of spots. *elevators worked and were quick *The walkways to the beach were nice and great beach to look for shells. *fishing pier is assessable via walking with restaurants and bars as well. * one last shout out to "Zarek" and his team because again he was so friendly. I recently moved to South Florida (Pembroke Pines) in May and he reminded me so much of the level of hospitality I am used to. I moved from Las Vegas where hospitality is prominent and a huge selling point in high end resorts. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Me and my boyfriend were looking for a hotel for over 4 hours, we had been to another hotel who had completely horrible service. The front desk lady Shelly, helped us instantly and got right to her job. My boyfriend accidentally booked for the wrong day, and Shelly was super helpful! She answered the phone when third party agencies called and helped us without any issues or hassles. She is a real hero, she literally saved our lives. Shelly was definitely a medic in the army in another life. She was funny and told a couple jokes. Shelly was very efficient with her job. She definitely seasons her chicken. I miss her . We started there for two nights as we wanted to stay right on the ocean and this hotel fit the spot. Although it's an older hotel the room has been updated and the ocean view watching the cruise ships going in and out was nice. Breakfast was good and not the same thing both days so that was nice. A great place to stay if you want oceanfront property in Cocoa Beach. We were here for one night before hopping on a cruise ship. Rooms are newish. The room has laminate flooring because of the pool and direct beach access. So it's easier to maintain for the housekeeping staff. Beds are comfy. Our balcony had a great view of the pier, the pool, and the ocean. The room AC was good. The surf/beach shop next door has lively music playing. They also offer a hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, and potatoes. Coffee is readily available all day. The staff here is super friendly and welcoming. I was able to borrow a stapler to secure our cruise tags because I forgot mine. Checking out is super easy if you stop by the desk at breakfast...I just had a copy of the receipt E-mailed to me. Within walking distance are plenty of restaurants and a Publix supermarket if you need or forget anything. While it's not a luxury hotel, we were happy and comfortable. Don't let the business photos fool you. This place is really subpar in general, but it is on the more affordable end per night for the area. We stayed here for a night before boarding a cruise and were a bit shocked at the difference in the photos and real life. The hotel is very outdated and not really clean appearing. The beds were fine, the view lovely, the balcony was decent size. The bathroom, however, was a hot mess. The toilet lever was something out of the Exorcist as we had to swing it a full 360 degrees to flush and eventually the thing just broke and flew off the toilet altogether. The shower pressure was squat. There is a small table but otherwise nowhere else to set things down to be used. There was a small coffee bar setup next to the bathroom that we didn't use, but had a mini-fridge and microwave as well. The front desk staff were amazing, though. They printed everyone's cruise boarding pass - pretty sure the entire hotel was filled with cruise passengers. read more

The location is about the only positive thing about this hotel. The wind was blowing extremely hard the night I stayed and all night it sounded like someone was trying to open the door. The doors are not sealed properly So they Were whistling and rattling all night long. Also the room I stayed in had one of those out dated connection doors and could hear everything the neighbors said and did. The towels that they give you to take to the beach or to the pool were the size of a hand towel. For people that travel far it's almost impossible to pack large towels in your suitcase and with having a hotel that has its own board walk to the beach you would think they would offer better quality towels. The towel was just big enough to sit on. I arrived at 11am and watch 3-4 people do a early check in before me and the hotel told me I had to wait at least an hour for my room to get cleaned. No problem it was lunch time and the pier was just in walking distance we went and had lunch walked on the beach have the hotel some extra time to get the room together. Walked back to the front desk to find out 2 hours later that our room still wasn't finished getting cleaned. A positive thing they did hold my luggage at the front desk. lol So NICE ! The rooms need ALOT of updating. The paint off the ceiling was peeling off. The bedding is super outdated and dirty . The toilet is lowest toilet ever and the tub had rust coming from the handle. read more

Terrible smells gross rep at the front desk rude instead of putting her call on hold she had me wait 10mins to finish her call it's 2am! Hotel smells so bad like stale eggs mildew it's dirty stay away! I cldnt even fathom staying here The woman then proceeds to take a personal call ignore us and it wasn't until we asked for a cab that she began to say you can use your app and get a ride worse service ever read more

The location is great but they are using the COVID excuse and won't clean our room. Just a lame excuse to cut back on staff. This hotel is basically empty but they won't clean my room. I expected more from Wyndham. I guess I was mistaken. Place is WAY overpriced! read more

Absolutely disgusting. We were supposed to have a room with an ocean and pool view, we didn't have either. What we did have in room 101 was a filthy bathroom and cockroaches! My niece woke up with cockroaches on her! They were in the bed. I have yet to hear from the manager. Do not stay here! read more

Stayed here after booking the hotel via hotwire the day off. It was 3 people in a room with a king sized bed and a pull out couch. We asked for the linens for the coach and were given clean ones. There is free parking. Breakfast includes: Eggs, bacon, make your own waffles, milk, cereal, juices, bagels, toast. We wanted to go to the beach, but it was cloudy that day so we did not end up going. read more

This was the worst hotel stay I have had in Cocoa Beach and I travel there often on business. The lock on my EXPENSIVE room was broken and it took 3 trips back to reception with all my luggage for them to figure out it was the lock and I'm not actually an idiot. Maintenance had to pull the peephole out with pliers and use a coat hanger to open the door. This took about 45 minutes while I sat in the sweltering July heat. A coat hanger!! Then he "fixed" the door lock. My key still did not work, but he left anyway as he had another problem to solve elsewhere. Trapped in my room, I ordered takeout so I wouldn't have to leave. The next day I left for work knowing I wasn't going to get back into that room. After a 10 hour work day, back to sitting in the sweltering heat for 45 minutes while they fished through the peephole with a coat hanger AGAIN. This time they were able to get me into another room. I was not compensated for this fiasco. read more

I like it . You can't beat the location. My view is looking SouthEast at the Cocoa Beach Pier and Icean ( rm 150 ). Nice ce balconly no table but two plastic chairs and small table. The back of pier not so nice but the ocean makes up for that minute issue. Room over looks the pool too with a small bar BUT FULL Liquor BAR HARD LIQUORS AND BEER BUT NO WINE DID I SAY NO WINE We've never heard of this. The free breakfast you get a nice Buffett cereal yogurt juices coffee tea bread's bagels English muffins and this wonderful woman Monica she runs the whole show feeling everything up making sure everything is there and then you see her in our later cleaning up the floors and pushing the chairs around she's all in one she was Monica touché Also Zeric at front desk very professional Room clean pillows a little mushy but you get three It's all in my he view . I would definitely stay here again it was clean the view was fabulous and the price was right thank you for having us. Now home I really did enjoy this hotel I never thought to check into a La Quantia inn and suites. I did not see any suites, but if you don't want to move your car this is it . Again thank you Monica and Zeric BUT MYBE YOU SHOULD TINK OF HAVING WINE AT THE BAR ON ME YOU AT LEAST LOST $150.00 , glasses $7:00to $10.00 a glass Hhhmm maybe ya think most women and men drink wines read more

Nothing great or special about this place. Staff pretends to be friendly when your checking in then that changes to a your annoying me attitude. Oh and regardless of status with Wyndam that is out the door. No late check outs in fact they get extremely pushy like knocking on your door at 1015 to push you out before 11. I am a pet person but the overwhelming smell of dog poo is over bearing here. I gave them a 1 rating based on the view. #neverCoco Laquinta!!! read more
