The hospitality at this hotel is above and beyond. You feel like family. The rooms are comfortable. Pool is clean. Great access to the beach with beach chairs + towels. The breakfast is homemade and delicious. I cannot recommend it enough. I've stayed here twice now (2019 & 2024) and both experiences were 10/10. read more

If I could give this establishment negative 5 stars, I would. My husband and I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this outdated and falsely advertised inn. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this place does not live up to its advertisement claims or standards. The check-in process was handled by a female clerk who was extremely curt and rude. It was our first impression of Cocoa Beach, and honestly, it left a terrible taste. To make matters worse, we saw a woman with a teenage child checking in before us--despite the inn claiming to be an adults-only establishment. The clerk gave a dismissive speech about keys and parking passes, and when it was our turn, she asked, "You heard all of that correct, so I don't have to repeat it?" as if we were bothering her. She completely ignored a comment about her adorable fur baby walking behind the counter, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. We received a metal key (not a key card), and when we arrived at our room, the smell hit us--like mothballs or old linens. There is no elevator to access the second-floor rooms, so we had to carry our luggage up two flights of tiled stairs. The hallway was cluttered with construction boxes, which made the walk to our room less than welcoming. The biggest letdown was the so-called "beach view." The property falsely claimed to be on the beach, but the view was obstructed by tall brush and a parking lot, requiring a walk through the grounds, pool area, over a wooden bridge, and through brush to reach the beach. It was far from the direct, scenic beach access promised. The room itself was tiny--an efficiency size with a ceiling-mounted modem that blinked neon green all night, keeping us awake. The bed was the hardest and most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. The bathroom was minuscule; I could touch both walls with arms outstretched, which is astonishingly small for two adults. Their "free breakfast" was a complete sham. What they called "free" was more like a snack bar limited to a muffin, a tiny piece of quiche, a slice of toast (if you ask), a small shot of orange juice, and some coffee. The poached eggs and hot water setup for cooking eggs was ineffective--the water was never hot enough to boil. The toaster was broken, and the entire breakfast experience was a joke. The property was in severe need of updating, with construction materials cluttering the hallways, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance lacking. The parrots kept at the inn were beautiful but seemed stressed and shy, likely due to the poor conditions and neglect. Overall, this inn was an unpleasant, outdated, and misrepresented place that I would strongly advise avoiding. My husband had booked this inn for our 16-year wedding anniversary through Expedia and USAA. Since we did not get a name from the clerk who checked us out and took our keys, we were unable to get a refund. This location was so horrible, that we are fine with not getting a refund as at least we were able to stay at a better location for the remaining 3 nights we were staying in Cocoa Beach. This inn charges top dollar to stay here for false advertisement and to sleep in a broom closet that are old & extremely outdated, uncomfortable. After just one night, we checked out early and moved to a reputable hotel nearby, which turned our stay in Cocoa Beach from terrible to enjoyable. Save yourself the frustration/money and look elsewhere for accommodations. read more

We enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of The Inn and fellow civilized guests, found the care and courtesies of their associates welcoming, cleanliness of the entire property noteworthy. Breakfast is delicious, setting in the dining area and outdoor porch is beautiful! The pool and courtyard is too and includes soothing music. Their location near the ocean is wonderful. Seeing the advanced developments elsewhere in Cocoa Beach put the old fashioned Inn in perspective which we appreciated. We stayed in the less expensive former hotel rooms on the north side of the property originally built in the 1950s. They are simple, mostly refreshed. Adequate yet not spectacular. Second level rooms were quieter than the first level. Sound of room air conditioners cycling through the night was disruptive, suggest bringing earplugs. While not a resort, it's an improved, well maintained older place and delivers on this reality. What visitors seek varies. In our opinion considering all aspects of The Inn's older and simple accommodations (4) with above average civility and hospitality (5), support overall rating of 4.5. read more

This is the second time I have been to this place. Once 2 years ago and then just this week. The rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves. When my wife and I went out to eat diner we couldn't take the leftovers back to the room cause we had no place to put it or heat it up. I told the waitress that and she was like where are you staying as all places have fridges. Also the front desk clerk was very rude to me and wouldn't give me his name so I could complain about his behavior. I paid about $300 a night and left early cause wasn't a great place. I had an amazing stay at the Inn at Cocoa Beach!! The staff are absolutely lovely! From the daily housekeeping services, to the reception, breakfast staff, and maintenance crew. They're all wonderful and hardworking people that work very well together to help the Inn run smoothly. Breakfast is free daily from 7:30-8:30. It's home-cooked style meal has a little bit of everything- cereal and milk, eggs, fresh fruits, juice, coffee/tea, muffin, toast, etc. Our room had a fantastic water view! The sun rises in the morning right at 6:30, which has the perfect sunrise to wake up to! I loved the parrots that said hi and bye to me as I pass by, haha! I loved my stay here entirely. We enjoyed the hotel for 6 nights while doing a space coast bike trip with bubbas pampered peddlers. My only complaint is there is very little surface area for your things. And no closet. The sink is part of the bedroom, and the toilet shower is separate. And not well set up for your charging needs. read more

Really enjoyed my stay here. Pros: Beach access is second to none. There's a locked gate in the back that leads to a short boardwalk then the beach. Towels, chairs, and umbrellas are provided. Lots of extras. There's a. Putting range, cash bar, and social wine hour. Centrally located. Nobody in Cocoa Beach seems to walk anywhere, but you can walk to most restaurants and stores. Complimentary early check in. Saved me 5 hours of my life. Cons: Very small room with no closet. Hangars are provided though. No fridge. Breakfast was more of free coffee and something you probably don't want to eat. The last night I was there I could hear the person above me snoring from about 9pm - 6am. Then when confirmation email came on 2/05, had to cancel because she thought our pick up time was 4am and our take off time was 6am instead. Even though email chain says otherwise. I booked this hotel through a popular travel sight weeks in advance for two nights. Immediately upon arrival at 7pm at night I was informed that they DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN at this hotel. My husband, 1 year old son and I would have to find somewhere else to go. When I confronted the desk clerk with photos of children in their pool on their google reviews, she told me "They might be the owner's family". The travel site I booked with was not aware of this policy. It should be made clear on their website and on all other travel platforms that they DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN. The front desk lady put-on as if she wanted to help me. She became ruder as she refused to follow through on her attempts to offer me fake help and saw I wasn't going away. The policy is fine, but people should be made aware that NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED at this Inn. While in the lobby trying to call the travel sight, an older couple came down and requested maintenance because their room had no air condition. The front desk lady said sorry no maintenance here tonight they would have to wait overnight in Florida in a hot room. They asked for a different room, and she didn't even offer them the one I was refused... smh read more

If you want to pay over $300 a night for no fridge, or microwave in you tiny "junior delux suite" with dirty towels in your room smeared with a prior guest's poo and mascara, and have most condescending and dismissive hotel staff tell you "most people don't say that" after you complain, then congratulations. This is the hotel for you! We were promised a king sized bed and a view of the ocean and we were met with a view of a big ugly parking lot, and a fountain that always runs so you can't even hear the ocean at night. Just the stupid fountain. Also the "king" was two twins pushed into one bed. Not a real king. On top of that, they do not have great amenities. After finding we had no fridge in our "suite" we bought a small styrofoam cooler to which we were told we COULD NOT USE THE INDUSTRIAL ICE MACHINE TO FILL! There was a billiards table in a rec room upstairs we were told we could not use as it is "reserved for groups" right below the sorry excuse of a deck that is pictured with rotting wood, mis-matched floor boards, chipped paint on the railings and one set of badly worn out patio furniture. We had also requested room maid service twice and it was never done. When we brought it up to the front desk the old lady with short curly grey hair didn't even care to ask our room number to ensure it was cleaned. She was the worst! The only thing somewhat good here was the Macaws on display, and the mini quiches for breakfast -which the breakfast is not well advertised online on their website that hasn't been updated since about 1990. The breakfast staff was also stingy and did not have a menu anywhere. We had to see what other guests had on their plates and ask "where is xyz" and watch people in front of us be offered muffins where as we did not get offered muffins. There is also no Bible in the room, and after absolutely no advertisement of the building being haunted, you will get to your room and find a copy of "the inn: a Cocoa Beach ghost story" it definitely made me feel creeped out. I will never stay here again. read more

First...I have not lived in Florida for many years but I have the most wonderful memories my times spent at The Inn At Cocoa Beach. While I'm sure some things probably changed, my vacations here are among the best. Each room was beautiful with gorgeous views. Breakfast was splendid with freshly made hot biscuits and eggs that I could make as soft or hard boiled as I wanted. Friendly staff added to the joy!! This is my favorite place to stay in Cocoa Beach. It is conveniently located and once you park your car, you can walk to Ron Jon, at sand restaurants and shops. It isn't exactly "on" the beach. You must walk out the back on the hotel across a small parking lot onto the beach. I always feel "at home" here. The front desk and breakfast folks and maintenance workers are all very friendly. If you have any special requests, they are happy to do their best to fulfill them. I usually stay in the main building, and even the room without the beach view is large and pleasant. Last evening, I stayed in a pool side ground level room by the pool. It had a slight musty small and by morning, I was really congested. I am sure this is a result of flooding from the hurricanes and though it showed no signs of water damage, it smelled it. The bathroom was also very tiny and the sink was in the room and not the bathroom. The queen bed was soft and comfy and the room was somewhat quiet. I woke when I heard early risers by the pool. I will look forward to my next stay here, but will not stay in a pool side room. read more

There was amazing personal service (kind of like a bed and breakfast) a nightly wine and cheese social, large rooms with balconies looking at the ocean, clean rooms, cozy meeting places including an honor bar, spots to sit inside and outside, a big pool, a great breakfast served in a nice dining room, fresh baked cookies each evening, iced tea during the day, real keys to open the hotel room doors, and two sweet dogs at check-in! We had booked down the street only to find mold in the room so we moved before unpacking and stumbled on this place at almost 10:00 p.m. Some of the management team has feathers and fur; such a nice welcome to see them lounging around the lobby (they are definitely unfazed by human arrivals). The room opened on the pool and the dunes blocked the ocean so if you want a view you need to book higher up. We just wanted serenity so no problem. The only think I'd really call out is that the bathroom was teeny so if that bothers you, be aware. But that may not be all rooms either. read more

My favorite place to stay on the Space Coast! This place is the perfect blend of a small inn and a bed and breakfast. They are located directly on the ocean, with a large pool facing the ocean, and a large breakfast room with a fountain and terrace. Their homemade muffins and breads are delicious! They also usually have cookies in the reception area, as well as a wine social later in the day. The main house has several rooms with sitting areas, library, kitchen, etc. There's a small gift store with unusual items, not the usual tourist fare, and massages are available by request. This is a great place to have a small meeting or a wedding reception; they have rooms that can be reserved for that purpose. Also a great place to watch the few remaining shuttle launches--as they have a sunning terrace on the top floors of the main building with a good view of Cape Kennedy. read more

So glad we found this place. Nice and quiet adult crowd. Rooms are a little dated but more than adequate. Breakfast is tasty as is the afternoon wine and cheese. The staff are super friendly (big tip of the hat to David whose interest in our having an enjoyable stay made what was already a pleasant experience that much better). Clean and refreshing pool in the back with a nice hammock tucked away in the corner. The beach is right out back. $8-10 ride to the cruise lines. Yummy surfer tiki bar is just a block away (The Sandbar). We loved this place and will be certain to return the next time we vacation in the area. read more

Loved this place ! We stayed two nights on the first leg of a honeymoon trip. I really liked the feel of a quaint Inn seaside. Our room decor was so cute.. you'll see in the pictures attached. The bathroom is small but really didn't matter to me. I loved this location and the weather was absolutely perfect for a romantic honeymoon. The hotel offered so many extras. Breakfast included was a "breakfast tray" the nice ladies made little ham/cheese quiches , pineapple loaf, fresh fruit...etc. They had sweet tea and coffee .. they have a beautiful little room for the "Honor Bar" where you make your own cocktails and have goodies available.. you simply mark on a paper what you made or took to eat and turn that in the front desk and they add to your bill at check out. It was just so nice , a wonderful atmosphere. My favorite was the two adorable dogs Lily & Lucy that "own" the place .. the staff were so nice .. especially the lady who ran the front desk in the evenings, super nice to us, thank you! This is the absolute BEST nod to days gone by that I have come across...ever! We booked a single night stay in a King, pool view room with walk out porch. The room was so comfortable and clean. I loved the a/c and the convenience of the parking as it related to our hotel room door. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft and bright white. This nostalgic place packs a lot in to the grounds and the guest experience. From a cashless honor bar to complimentary wine and cheese, the Inn at Coco Beach offers something for everyone. We enjoyed a lite bite in the morning consisting of an egg muffin cup, toast, fruit and yogurt. Our room was situated across from a key entry gate leading to a boardwalk to the beach. When I say we were seconds from the water, I mean three minutes, TOPS! From check in to check out we were treated like VIP guests. My only regret was that we were staying just one night. The Inn at Coco Beach is conveniently located just 7 minutes from the Port Canaveral cruise ship pier, which was also a huge plus. We will definitely return to the Inn at Coco Beach! read more

The Inn is similar to a European inn/hotel, welcoming, charming and a one of a kind delight. There are 2 shih tzus that live there,, Lucy and Lily, and two talking macaws. They serve a homemade complimentary breakfast, happy hour, and have a full honor bar. The gardens are beautiful, as well as the pool. It's on the beach and our room with balcony overlooked the Ocean! This hotel was overpriced for what you get. It's a "bed and breakfast" but the breakfast was not that great and not worth paying anything substantial for. The view of the beach was across a public parking lot, which you have to cross to get to the beach. The hotel is not quite "on the beach" as we thought. The room was TINY. And didn't have normal things like a small refrigerator. This room was smaller than a $50/night motel 6 room. It just didn't fit the price. Overall the people are friendly. And the king size bed was very comfortable. But it was just way too overpriced for what you get. I would never go there again. I would much rather have stayed 1 block away in a nicer, more modern hotel, with larger rooms, for less money. read more

The Inn at Cocoa Beach is a cross between a bed and breakfast and an old school hotel. They are unpretentious. The staff is friendly and helpful. We used a TON of towels with going to the ocean and pool, and they never seemed to mind. The rooms are on the smallish side, but why do you care about the room when you are 50 feet from the ocean!! The happy hour with wine and cheese is pleasant and a nice way to meet other people. The breakfasts were good, a quiche and a freshly baked bread. My group really liked the ability to make your own egg (hard or soft boiled). We all used the wifi. I would stay here again if I came to Cocoa Beach, it really is how Florida should be! read more

I have never had such a terrible experience in 48 hours ever. We found the management to be rude, like asking for towels we were questioned how many we already had in our rooms, when confronting management on a housekeeping item, we were told, if you don't like it, book elsewhere! The place is shabby, old oriental rugs everywhere, elevators even! As for our beautiful ocean front terrace view, it was slightly tempered by the beach bums and "homeless" people walking their belongings across the parking lot looking up at us in our robes having coffee one morning made for a weird moment. Coco beach itself is a poor beach town and really not a nice place to be, "Shanty town" comes to mind. Shy of a visit to the Kennedy Space Center and some local strip malls, keep driving. The breakfast was terrible, who doesnt season an egg? A 250+ lb man with no shirt on and shorts strolled up to the breakfast bar body hair everywhere and acted as if this was natural and normal. We about lost our lunch! Really disgusting. Boxed blueberry cake and boil your own egg is not our idea of Bed and Breakfast. Below par for sure. read more

We found this place by stopping into a bunch of hotels when first we visited Cocoa Beach. Mexican tiled almost open-air lobby. Great decor helped overcome the ratty feel of the motel-style front doors. Go for the ground floor rooms, a garden view beats the parking lot that sits between the hotel and the beach. Linens are high-quality, none of that nasty polyester coverlet horror. The pool is sparkle clean. When I visit, it takes about 5 min after checkin to dress for the beach, make a stiff drink from the honor bar, take a stroll over the boadwalk, and be out walking the beach. The lobby looks and feels like a classy comfy well-appointed living room. I have upper shoulder/neck problems, but the firmness of the beds is not a problem. Bathrooms have the cute fan-folder towel treatment, but otherwise meh. read more

Spent an awesome time there last week!! Don't even know where to start. I went with my mom and daughter and we stayed in room 212 which had 2 queen beds. The room was spotless. I'm a germaphobe so the first thing I did was check the mattresses for bugs and thank God not a trace of anything. What was nice about our room was that it did not have carpeting..it was hardwood flooring...which for someone like me, was an answered prayer. Why more hotels don't use hardwood is a mystery. I hate walking on hotel carpeting because who knows the last time it was cleaned. In the bathroom everything was clean and the tracks on the shower door passed my inspection. There were a ton of towels and wash cloths. The breakfast concept was so cool. You eat in a beautiful room ( I posted a picture) and there is self serve coffee, toast (bagels, English muffins, breads etc) and the coolest thing..a hard boiled egg station! There's a pot of simmering water, a basket with numbered eggs, egg cups and a list that tells you how many minutes to cook the egg to your liking. Then you take a timer with you back to your table and go get your egg ( you know it's yours because it's numbered!) when your time is up. Very cool. There is a lovely woman setting up breakfast trays for you with quiche, a delicious coconut bread and fresh fruit. The whole place was so comfortable and clean. We hung out in the different common areas each night and just enjoyed the cute puppies that live there, read magazines, drank the free wine and ate the free cheese. They even thought to put a basket full of local restaurant menus in the living room. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We just hated to leave.
