Very friendly front desk. Easy checkin Restaurant in the lobby was my first stop I like the full bar. Martini time. The kitchen is open so you can watch them cook. Always nice that there is nothing to hide Lobby is cheerful and bright Tomato bisque was hot and really wonderful. I also got a burger. Asked for rare but came medium well. No one seems to be able to do a rare or medium rare burger. It came with bacon and blue cheese. The fries were thick and hot I liked the room, clean and modern. I liked the microwave and frig. I didn't like the price for breakfast $14.00

Driving through stopped for the nite. Was wondering why the room was under $100 thought nothing more of it bc it was midnight and been on the road all day from VA. Next morning noticed a few stray hairs in the bathroom, not that big of a deal. Took my shower grabbed a "clean" towel not thinking I should check it over! My mistake, drying off my face I pulled a giant hair off my lips. Gross, I know it's just a hair. That's what I keep telling myself but it left me feeling dirty. Even though I had just taken a shower. Hung the towel up and there was another still on the towel. Yuck. Not the standard I would expect of a Hilton property let alone a Hilton garden. I told the girl at the front desk and she apologized. Over all no other complaints but it's funny the impact a few hairs can have.

We were told that the shuttle driver had to come in on his day off, so we did tip him well ($20). On the ride to the airport, he told us that there was a cabal of undocumented people living at the airport. We had our doubts, but we said nothing, as we just wanted to get to the airport and make our flight. We had the same driver when we returned home--and he asked us if we saw said undocumented people. We said, no, there was no such thing at the airport. He said something like "Aha--they are hiding behind a black curtain." This was a lot of crazy--and xenophobia for a ride that we were paying for. And sadly, this should have clued us in to the rest of the experience. We stayed at the hotel at the end of our trip. While the lobby looked clean and well appointed, the rest of the hotel was not. The hallways were dirty with trash, one could obtain a contact high is you breathed deeply enough, and the toilet was malfunctioning. If I could give it negative stars, I would. As a third generation American, the xenophobia alone was enough, but the god-awful condition of the property surprises me that it is still in business. Do yourself a favor--stay about anywhere else.

The entire staff was super helpful and happy to assist with anything we needed, from check-in to getting extra towels for the pool. The morning breakfast was awesome -- they had a homemade waffle machine, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, sausage, and a huge spread with coffee, milk, orange juice, apple juice, cereals, bagels, toast, English muffins, cream cheese, and peanut butter. So many great choices. Definitely a must-stay!"

Their M Club was still under renovation and they issued cards to dine in a buffet area next to the Bar Louie that's in the lobby. The breakfast, which I took part in the next morning was terrible. I got there about 20 mins after they opened and they were rather busy, but the food was cold and stale. The potatoes were terrible, cold, rubbery, and far from fresh. The scrambled eggs were cold and there were hardly any left. The bacon was the only thing worth eating. Should be noted that all this food was sitting in heated warmers, but those must just be for looks, because they weren't keeping the food warm! The room I got was very nice, it was at the end of the hall on the sixth floor, overlooking the huge Panasonic building nearby. The room was very spacious and nicely setup, with everything in decent working order, except the toilet seat, which was too small for the bowl. When sitting on the seat, you were actually sitting partially on the bowl because the seat was too small. It's these little "attention to detail" things that really make or break a property. Since I stay in Marriotts so frequently I'm sooo sick and tired of the smell of their bathroom soaps and gels. Not sure why they don't rotate these by region, property, etc. They could very easily make it so when I visit different properties in different cities, I experience a different "smell" of soap and bath gel. I know this seems petty, but when these smells are thins pungent, it really does matter. The lobby was beautifully decorated with a player piano playing in it, which was a really nice touch. It's obvious the entire property's common areas were recently refurbished, which makes the property look and feel very nice and slightly more upscale than the typical Marriott. Just a word of warning that the parking lot seems to connect a road to a plaza with people cutting through it. I went to pull out of a parking space once and a car almost hit me driving about 30 MPH thru the lot, just cutting through. Overall, it was a decent stay and I'd stay here again.

I love the fact that they replaced the carpets with hard wood floor, never been a fan on the carpets at the hotels. The room was very spacious, bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The water pressure in the shower could be improved, but it wasn't bad. The front desk staff were friendly and had easy check-in. The fitness center was bit small, but had more equipment in the room than other hotels like Fairfield Inn.... but because it was small, it felt closed in. No microwave in the room, has anyone notice that the hotels are removing them now? Is this the new trend?

The room was okay, I like that there was a whole kitchen area and living room separated from the bedroom. The kitchen has a whole fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher so I was surprised to see that when walking in bc usually hotels only have a mini fridge and that's about it. There was 2 TVs one in the bedroom and one out in the living room which was nice. The bathroom is very outdated. The bed was pretty comfy and they had black out shades which I appreciate.

Do not stay here! This place needs major cleaning and new staff, ASAP. As soon as you walk into…read morethe hotel, you smell the odor of a wet dog. I don't know why. I thought maybe it was just our room, but no. The whole hallway smelled musty and like animal urine. It might have something to do with them allowing pets to stay in the hotel. Another thing that happened as soon as we stepped into our room was that the air conditioner's cover broke off. We went to set the temp and boom, it just fell. We intended to notify the front desk in the morning, but the experience of the rest of our stay made us realize that nothing would really be done about it. We asked for a first floor room and they gave us one with a roll in shower, meaning that there is nothing separating the shower from the rest of the bathroom. The whole floor gets wet and guess what? Yes, you got that right! The whole bathroom ALSO smelled like wet dog (or dog urine, take your pick), from the start of our stay till the end. It made the rest of the room reek as well. Staff and house keeping was pretty much nonexistent. They advertise that light house keeping will be done every day, i.e. they'll clean bathrooms, change garbage etc., none of which was done for us. After house keeping was a no show, I called the front desk three times and requested that they please send someone. We were out of towels and the bathroom smelled god awful. We had already settled in with all our stuff, so we didn't ask for a new room. I figured a good cleaning would make the bathroom smell go away, but house keeping never showed up. After my third call, they finally sent someone and all she did was bring new towels. I had to ask her to clean up the rest of the bathroom and change garbage bags, which was embarrassing. I shouldn't have to ask, they're supposed to do that without being requested! No other hotel that I have stayed at ever gave us this issue. This place may be cheap but it's not worth it for any price!
