This was a fantastic one night stay. The staff was wonderful while I was checking in. They are pet friendly and very welcoming to dogs. This was one of the first places that offered a door hanger that said the room has a dog. Their pet fee is $50. The room was great. The beds are comfortable, and the room was clean. The towel holders were coming off the wall, but other than that the room was great. There is a nice workout room and laundry room on site. They have a restaurant and breakfast. The breakfast is not free. There was a nice connecting trail that led to food and shops within a walkable distance. read more

Jacoby was phenomenal! The young man was on shift from 3P - 11P and was so attentive each time we needed the front desk. The amenities include an on-site bar/restaurant - offering a breakfast buffet, free parking (no EV charging of airport shuttle), an indoor pool/whirlpool (closed during our visit), and a well-stocked marketplace. You can not beat the room rates, as the rooms are spacious and well-maintained. The hotel is connected to the Colony Crossing shopping and dining pavilion via a footbridge over their backyard pond. Jacoby took great care of us during our stay, and he made sure our party of 4 was superbly accommodated and satisfied. He's a great asset to the hotel as his guest service skillset was top-notch. So many things wrong with this place, starting with the greeting from the guy at the front desk. Also, my sheets were not fresh on my bed. There's no way you should come to a fresh room in your sheets or wrinkled before you even get in them. I had to request new sheets and had to put them on myself. Also, the next morning the breakfast was definitely not up to par as there was only one person working, which was serving cooking Cleaning and everything else. And there was no maid to order breakfast, which is why I stayed at this place. read more

We were disappointed with the amenities for the price. The room had no blow dryer or extra blankets. The height of the beds was extremely high for a handicapped suite. The height of the soap and shampoo was also too high to reach from the seat in the shower. Either we didn't locate the breakfast buffet or it was scantily stocked (at 8 AM). Parking was very far from the front door. The only positive I observed was the night front desk employee - she was lovely. read more

Decent hotel, reasonably clean and easy access to a nice walking path around a pond right off the back of the hotel. Nice area as well. Only drawbacks I really had were the rather funky smell in the corridor, (could just be a guest nuking fish or something), and the $13 for breakfast! I am used to HGI stays including breakfast, so was surprised at the charge! Will likely stay here again, but plan on breakfasts off-site. Hopefully construction is finished by the next visit so we aren't listening to construction until 7:30PM! read more

Do not recommend staying here until renovations are over. Indoor pool is closed and there were construction noises. The hallways had an odor to them. The dining area seat cushions were very worn Expectations for Hilton are much higher even in a renovation. read more

We stopped her on our way home from vacation. As soon as we were walking in, a power line busted. Half of the building was with out power but the employees were so accommodating and empathic. They went above and beyond to make sure we were in rooms with power and we hade everything we needed even though it was chaotic. The rooms were clean, cool and fully stocked with towels. Beds were clean, soft, and warm. We definitely will stay here if we need to again. read more

We just had the best time here. The place is well managed and the employees are amazing. We organized a little family reunion and everyone was so accommodating and kind and sweet. The newly renovated dining and hangout area was super nice and the perfect place to play games and hang at night. The rooms were super clean and comfy. The location has everything you need surrounding it. They are doing some renovating/construction, but the website stated that and we knew ahead of time. It was barely noticeable. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff went above and beyond and we just had the best time. Breakfast was amazing and worth the money as well. read more

Nice property but the (spacious) room had a hot tub with no standard shower! The only shower head was a hand-held that nested in the corner of the top of the tub. How do you build a hotel room in the 21st century without a standard shower? Ridiculous. read more

The lobby is very much up to date however the rooms not so much. I will say the staff was amazing especially Letrice at the bar in the hotel made it feel like home. Very unprofessional and disrespectful staff. Everyone there hustle you out of money like it isn't in their job title to do it. For the room to be as expensive as it was for one night, nothing was complementary. Wi-Fi was only free for Hilton honors members for 15 mins. The food is too expensive to taste like trash. A small sneakers is $3. Didn't have enough towels in the room. Nothing is cleaned properly and with Covid being present. It should be cleaned better than it is. The ice machine was down the whole night and we had to keep going down downstairs to get things we needed. Nobody brought anything up to us. The air didn't get as cool as it needed to either. Great personnel. Brady, the night time desk person, really worked hard to find the room key that was left for me. He talked to his colleague..talked to the gentleman who booked the room for me...spent about 20-25 minutes before he finally - at last gasp - checked the Trash Can for that key. And guess what - it was there! Not sure why the previous Desk person threw my key away, but Brady worked dilligently to get me checked in. At the breakfast bar, both Autumn & Gia did a fantastic job taking care of folks who came in. In fact they obviously made it a point to get to know folks, as they had good short conversations with people there. It was obvious they take their job seriously - and have a passion to take care of the people who stay at the hotel. Rooms were very nice - roomy, clean, perfectly laid out and comfortable. The only very small complaint, the shower drain backed up.. I'll be back here next time I'm in Jackson for sure. Well done folks. read more

Checked out 2 hours after arriving. Only the second time in 10 years of travel Internet: It doesn't work even on the premium. No one who stays here in 2019 should be giving a hotel anything higher than 1 star if the internet is unstable or just slow. Its a necessity, not a benefit. I spent my 2 hours at the property trying to make it work, but my cell service doesn't work in this area, so I couldn't work for the week without internet. Clogged Toilet: I immediately decided to leave when I went to use the bathroom to see that the toilet was pre-clogged for me. There is no way this toilet was opened by the cleaning crew and they did't see it. The room was also a little grimy. Carpet is being poorly cleaned, dust and streaks on surfaces, and streaks and grime on mirrors. read more

Stayed at this location Saturday. It was a horrible experience. When we checked into our room we could not rest due to hammering and drilling. Customers weren't informed before booking that they had major construction going on inside. After a long drive we could not sleep. They did change our room to what they considered to be a better quieter room on the second floor but unfortunately this room was no better. This noise persisted until after 5 PM. How about Sunday morning when people were trying to sleep and relax, they started drilling and hammering at 8 AM. So much for a restful trip. The facilities are nice and they did give me a price break but I did not get any rest. read more

Four yelp stars for Mississippi - Three star for a hotel anywhere else. It is very clean. Convenient to restaurants and strip mall shopping. Staff is good but not helpful with area restaurant recommendations, etc. Your typical restaurant recommendation - Outback. Sigh.. Bonefish Grill is adjacent and actually provides room service. Pie Works Pizza right behind is actually very good - try the home made whole wheat crust. It is a small chain out of Louisiana. The hotel provides free wireless Internet but there is no free breakfast. They offer it and it's barely edible and it will set you back $12.00. Also, this bothers me - they advertise "Farm Fresh Eggs" for breakfast but they pour the eggs out of a carton. What is that all about? Deceptive at the very least! Ehgh. The omelet was overcooked. But the hotel is what I'm rating and not the restaurant per-se. There was fresh fruit, the standard cereals and yogurt. read more

I only stayed for one night at this hotel but I would still highly recommend it. The staff was very prepared and check-in took less than a minute. The room was clean and had everything you could need in a moderately priced hotel room. I did have a bit of trouble staying connected to the wifi network but it worked well for the most part. The hotel is also centrally located and you could walk to restaurants via a bridge behind the building. I read about previous reviewers issues with the doors but I didn't experience the same issue. Breakfast was pretty unexciting and not free but I can't complain since it wasn't advertised as such. The cookies in the lobby were an added bonus! Overall, I would recommend it to anyone passing through Madison. read more

This is an extraordinarily bad value and I would only recommend this place if you have so much money that you just don't care where it goes or what value you get for it. Just a couple of days ago I stayed at a Marriott hotel in Texarkana Texas for about 70 bucks a night which included a beautiful breakfast every morning. For my room here at this Hilton, it is almost twice as much and there is no breakfast included; in the lobby they have some crappy coffee machine with very small cups and they want $2.00 per cup. All the photos appearing here at yelp are clearly stock photographs from the Hilton corporation. They are obviously not taken by guests of their rooms. That is very lame. read more

Our hotel was very outdated. Our shower was also very outdated and definitely needed to be redone. We did have a keurig coffee maker which was nice as well as the lobby having an area to buy snacks. You had to pay for breakfast. Our air conditioner rattled and was very annoying when on. Probably won't stay here again. read more

My family and stayed here for a wedding back in February. We were originally booked downtown, but found out quickly this is where everyone was staying. A lady at the front desk (I wish I could recall her name) was SO helpful in getting my reservations moved to this hotel. Everything was nice and clean. Good bed, accommodating staff. Let me start by saying I am currently a Hilton and Hyatt Diamond member (so I stay in hotels a lot) and as you see Ive never left a comment before however everyone is due a warning on this old hotel that needs some attention. Great location though. I though I'd stay here as this better part of Jackson. I had daily irritations including, a trash bag with bugs crawling on it in the hallway for all day, cutting my foot deeply from a sharp nail sticking out of the footstool. I stayed here towards the end of May when I had to attend a funeral. It was very clean and comfortable with great temp control in the room. Check-in was super easy and quick. A family member reserved the room for me so I expected a complicated check-in but, again, it was easy and quick. The only thing bad I can say about the room was that repairs in the shower were visible. The soap holder had obviously broken off because you could tell it had been put back on. The service was great but I don't think you should have to pay for breakfast when you have a $200 room for the night. Overall, it was still a nice hotel. read more

I stayed here from the 16-18th of October. The morning of the 18th when we checked out we found black ants all over he room. There was no food left out for them to get into. They were all over the bathroom, in our luggage, on the bed. I was sitting at the desk and flicked one off of my shoulder! If you need a firm mattress, you have to ask for a special room with adjustable mattresses, only they didn't tell me that when I called. I told the you lady I had back issues, and she never offered me that type room. Also, the special beds are only available in rooms that are not handicapped accessible, and they only have one king size bed. I called this location to make reservations so I could explain that I needed a handicapped room with roll in shower, and an adjourning room with two bed. I got there and we had two rooms, but both has just one bed. I called the front desk and her solution was to bring in a roll-a-way bed. The hotel was practically empty because it was the weekend, so I don't understand the problem with changing our room. She finally did agree to change it and the new room was also adjourning and it had doors that opened between the room, and the other room did not. When I checked out and they asked me how our stay was, I told her the beds were way too soft. She adjusted the cost of one of the rooms, but that didn't help my back pain. I'll be staying at the Marriott next time even if it is a little out of the way. Their beds are wonderful! read more

Great quiet location, but what really makes this hotel above the rest is the attention that the staff provides to making your stay the best it can be. Great breakfast Chef who takes pride in her work. The lady that works the breakfast area takes the same pride with great personality - nobody feels unwelcome and she make everyone smile. Ms. Erline checks you in at night with a smile and warm welcome as always - really cant say enough good things about this hotel!!!! read more
