We've been comfortably using their service for years. We've never had an issue other than our boys expecting to have the same fun when they get home! As another reviewer said, the daily contact they provide sets our minds at ease, allowing us to enjoy our vacation fully. There are plenty of places closer to home but we travel the extra 40 minutes to have that kind of peace of mind. Without hesitation we recommend Aunt Aud's Sit, Stay & Play!!

He explained that the dog wasn't his, but that he and his wife Audrey were pet sitters. I was so impressed with his caring nature for a dog that wasn't his that I held onto his card. Fast forward a year later, I was called to go to a real estate conference out of town for several days and needed a sitter for my fur baby Darwin, a chihuahua mix, I instinctively called Aunt Aud's. Darwin and I went to Audrey and Joe's home to meet them in person. I felt comfortable leaving Darwin in Audrey and Joe's care. I received daily pictures of Darwin. He was so happy there. I was confident that he was in good hands. I came home a day early and offered to pay for Darwin because I had committed to an extra day of care and Audrey insisted that I NOT pay her. So beyond the excellent care my dog received, I can tell you that Audrey and Joe are the most sincere and caring and honest people you will meet!!!!

I've been using Beach Buds Doggy Daycare consistently for about 4 months now. My girl has…read moreattachment issues but is typically happier with other dogs. Coming in here, she definitely wasn't the easiest one to work with....and still isn't. She won't typically go potty inside because she's afraid of getting in trouble but is also picky about where she goes potty outside. She also loves to sit in the window and watch for when I come to get her, but of course then she doesn't gain much from the daycare experience. My dog is just plain NEEDY. In the beginning, she didn't seem to engage too much with the other dogs, maybe only briefly. But now that she's had about 15 days total there, she's got her friends. From my point of view, it took her 10 days of going before she learned to love it, she's always a hard sell when it doesn't involve mommy. Now she runs to the door to go inside, no second thoughts about going in. I know she clearly really loves the owner, Derek, which isn't a very easy thing for her to do. Most of the other workers are caring and friendly, I've seen some that pull a little too much on her collar, but it's a bit more rare. I love the options of 7-7, so if I have longer work days I won't feel guilty if she is there maybe 10 hours or more. Drop off and pick up are pretty easy, parking can be difficult in the evening of course. While, yes, they do not have a large space nor a large yard, I know my girl gets a lot from doggy day care. She comes home absolutely pooped from her day, she's better about going potty at the daycare (sometimes she still holds it), and she continues to have positive interactions with dogs of all sizes. I think it's important that small and large dogs spend time together so they can learn the dynamics of greeting, playing, or just being present together under supervised care. The website for booking is easy to use and you get an email reminder on the day you have a reservation. Aside from the cameras where you can stare at your dog for all too long, you can also follow their Instagram or facebook for some sweet shots of your pups while you're at work. Maybe one day they could end up with a larger location, but overall, I think there's a lot for a pup to gain here...as well as the owner. Nothing like having a free evening not having to walk your pup!

From the moment we walked in, Lorraine's calming approach is welcoming, which immediately put my senior pup at ease. You can tell that she genuinely cares for my dog. Lorraine did a fantastic job with the puppy cut--it looked perfect and was exactly what I asked for (and he smelled wonderful too). I was especially impressed by the amount of time she spent with my senior Yorkie, she gave him breaks so as not to stress him, which at 19.5 years is important to me (and him). The shop is clean, the pricing is fair, and most importantly, my dog came out happy and stress-free. I highly recommend Lorraine of Raine's Petcare to anyone looking for a groomer who truly cares about animals!

I specifically requested that my dog's hair be trimmed, but not cut too short. The groomer informed me that my dog's hair was matted,it WASNT,which I later learned is a way for them to charge an extra fee...yes I did sign a disclaimer in case of nicks and asked him why,I've never had to before w/my current dog or the one before...told me not to worry it's just a way of protecting themselves...his appointment was at 10:30...I called at 3:30 to check on him..he wasn't ready....went at 4:30...STILL not ready...ask the owner what's taking so long...said it takes time to cut because he was so matted .... Im still confused about him saying he's matted because I take my dog to get groomed every month. I waited outside and finally around 515. He told me that he was ready. I had to stare at my dog for a while because he was unrecognizable AND a big red flag was they didn't even charge me the matte fee..when I finally got him on to examine him. I see that he was nicked when his eye and this is what probably took so long they probably had to stop the bleeding... my dog is a calm dog, but he seems unusually lethargic unlike the other times he's been to this groomer which leads me to believe they could have given him something.... Long story short don't take your pet here!!!

Dr. Lopez was the kind, compassionate human being who soothed my soul in making this decision and gave my beloved 17+ yr old little doggie a gentle dignified end to his distress. Dr. Lopez explained the x-rays & bloodwork that could be done (at a substantial cost) but was gentle in letting us know that for a dog of this age & degree of heart issues this won't be a real fix. In fact, the stress of it all could prove too much on him. A lesser man would have put potential dollars compassion for animals & pushed a pet owner desperate to take her "baby" home towards that unnecessary route. I am so thankful a friend recommended Assisi to me last year when my little guy was ill. She was also the owner of 2 elderly dogs & couldn't speak highly enough about their care at Assisi. Last year we saw a female Dr., whose name escapes me & we were pleased with her thoroughness & care. Today though was the true test in kindness & professionalism. We were even given a beautiful remembrance of our sweet little boy in the form of a plaster imprint of his paws w a beautiful poem & a vial containing a bit of his fur. I have used other vets & this is beyond a doubt the best I have experienced. Do yourself & your pet a favor & visit Dr. Lopez at Assisi.

I already knew this was gonna get fishy. Callbacks happened a couple times until finally they concluded that my dog needs a blood test to refill a Trazodone prescription. What? Since when? She didnt need one in the past. MONEY GRAB ALERT! Totally bogus information. Google it. Dogs dont require a blood test for a Trazodone prescription. Any time the visit was with Guzman, there was always "something we should consider". Take a sample of a bump and send to a lab. Do a full panel of blood test after she already had a clean bill of health (Oh but if you act now, we can get it for a cheaper price). Blood test to refill a prescription. Im sure he has an exclusive contract with the lab and is committed to filling quotas. That's how they work. Additionally, my neighbors had a sick cat last year. They asked me if I knew of a vet. I sent them to Assissi. Neighbors were told the cat needed to stay the night. Next morning, neighbors called to setup picking up the cat. Cat died. Initially was told the cat choked on his own vomit. Neighbors asked why didnt anyone help? They were told that no one stays there overnight. What? Then why did the cat need to stay the night? To make matters worse, they were handed a massive bill...all to have them kill my neighbors cat...from their first visit to Assissi through my recommendation. I was turned off from that story and was thinking of leaving then. Well after this Trazodone BS, we're confirmed to part. I can toss a stone in any direction and hit a vet, there are so many. Money grab tactics will lose in the end. Nothing bad to say about the front desk or the technicians. They were always awesome. Just stay away from their boss. Money grab!
