We Absolutely "LOVE" the Hilton House. My wife and I have been shopping there since 2007. 5-Star for us for 14 years. Cyndi the owner is Awesome!!! Always friendly, informs us on deals, what's up and coming, what's Hot!, then has worked with our budget and even setup payments with us for the larger amount purchases (I guess, call it layaway w/out stress). Plus, what we see, Cyndi works really hard for this business, very smart and hires the right staff. Even during COVID-19 Gov't Shutdowns, and all the natural distress that it has placed on our local small business community, Cyndi still paid and kept her staff through the shut down. My hats off to Cyndi. For her staff: Karen is our kind of people, friendly, easy to conversate with and always makes a point to say, 'hello'. Then there is Rita, a complete doll, and we truly enjoy working with Rita on finding shiny little treasures for the wife. For Shopping: we visit the Hilton House every other month, and even if we visit within a few weeks, the store is completely rearranged everytime. It seems to me that there are some vindictive people who have nothing better to do than "slam" a business for some of the silliest reasons. The owner runs a wonderful shop (two, in fact, in the same strip mall) and her prices, especially for jewelry items are well below the actual value. Great service and sweet salespeople. I wanted to get a piece of vintage jewelry as a present for my girlfriend and stopped in this shop after visiting a few others in Berkeley and Walnut Creek. The jewelry selection was large and diverse and I found a lovely ring from the twenties that my girlfriend absolutely loved. Cyndi offered to polish and have her ring guy size it for me so that my gf could start wearing the ring as soon as I gave it to her. As 1 of the ladies told me how much I opened my wallet to give her cash - when the other lady hollered over "Is she writing a check?" My salesperson replied no paying with cash. Had a watch my late Uncle used to wear. My Aunt sent it to me. It's a Maurice Lacroix. Yes I know, a Maurice, WHAT?? I had never heard of the brand. It's a Swiss watch, really beautiful. I wore it for awhile and after a time decided it just wasn't my style. Decided to see if I could consign it. A friend told me about Cyndi at Hilton House Consignment. She said she had a great experience there. So I decided to give it a try. Cyndi is super nice, thorough and obviously knows her stuff.
