I went to check out a sidewalk sale that the Vintage Owl was holding because I had been looking for end tables and nightstands. She didn't have the sizes I needed - which was so disappointing because there were so many fabulous pieces. The owner, Laurie, took time to ask me exactly what I wanted and told me she'd keep an eye out and send me items she found that might match what I was looking for. She did just that. After a few attempts, I finally found my pieces. 2 night stands and 2 ends tables. I picked them up and dropped them off. Again, Laurie asked exactly what I wanted and missed no details. I have used Laurie 's services on multiple pieces and projects in my home. She has chalk painted and reupholstered my kitchen table and chairs, a nightstand, a bookcase and dresser and a curio cabinet. All came out fabulous. She Basically took old pieces of furniture and completely updated and uplifted them. When I found out she also paints cabinets (not chalk paint) (high quality urethane paint with primer) I knew I needed her to help me with my 35 year old Oak cabinetry throughout my house. I had just remodeled 2 bathrooms in the house and she sanded, primed and painted the cabinets a beautiful grey color. Added custom door handles and voila ! It was as though I had purchased all new cabinetry. Next was the kitchen. She patiently helped me to select the perfect color and went to work. She and her son are clean, efficient and pay very close attention to detail. She had the cabinets done in 4 days. My kitchen looks like a different place now.
