Wife and I spent a delightful 4 day stay at this property. Pool, spa, tiki bar were enjoyable and in good condition. The ocean front view from the room was perfect and beach access is steps away. We've been coming here on and off since the 90's and this place rates as one of our faves. You couldn't ask for a better staff, always courteous and friendly. Props to the front desk folks especially. It's bustling on week ends and quieter booking mid-week so plan accordingly. Plenty of good restaurant options as well, not to mention proximity to Cape Canaveral for the occasional launch. read more

We stayed here for one night and loved how beautiful our view was from our balcony! Every room in this hotel has a balcony which is amazing! The beach access is steps away and they offer chairs and umbrella rentals for $40 a day. You can also bring your own chairs and umbrella if you prefer to save money. The pool is small but still great if you want to take a break from the beach. The pool is also heated which we loved since it was a bit nippy and windy during our stay. There is a bar outside that offers food and drinks, a restaurant inside for breakfast and dinner, and the atrium bar inside the lobby where food and drinks are also available to order. The location of the hotel is perfect with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. We can't wait to go back and extend our stay a little longer! read more

*This is a review for the poolside bar only* the staff out there (aside from one friendly gentleman) was absolutely rude as can be. One woman in particular that took my order was extremely short with me and disrespectful. Also right in the middle of me giving my order and her writing it down, she walked over to the other side of the bar for several minutes doing something else and just left me standing there waiting to finish giving my order. On top of that I was told to tap my card and was not given the option to choose my gratuity amount and was automatically charged 20% for bad service. Other than that though the food came out fairly quick and was hot and fresh. I understand it was busy and the staff was flustered but I am a paying customer and deserve to be treated with even minimal respect and decency. read more

Went for a wedding, amazing place . Very very clean all amenities were great. Got there early before checking in and the room was not ready BUT we were able to enjoy all the amenities so we changed and enjoyed the pool and the beach with a bar. We had a nice mini vacation here for Thanksgiving weekend. We'd been here many years ago. And we've gifted stays here in the past to relatives. Since we first stayed here, they've remodeled and refreshed a number of areas. And added a few other features. My husband is a diamond member for life, so we were able to be upgraded to an ocean view room and to receive a meal credit for each day of our stay. Plus we were given two drink coupons to use at the bar. The king-bedded room was located in building 2. You could tell coming up the elevator that the hallway walls had been painted recently and the floors fairly newly redone as well. The room, itself, had a lovely view of the beach/ocean as well as the pool from windows and from the balcony. We were high enough up (the 5th floor) not to hear any chatter from outside. But we could still hear the sound of the ocean waves which I love. Inside the room, there were all the amenities --- including a large flat screen tv, coffee maker, and small fridge. Plus, a pull-out sofa and a writing desk with chair. The only thing else I would have liked was a microwave, but lately these are less prevalent in many hotels. The bathroom was clean and large. There was a walk-in shower (no tub) with all the amenities in pump bottles attached to the wall. The only odd thing was that the shower head was on the ceiling towards the front of the shower stall and there was not a full door to close the shower. I always travel with a shower cap, but that would have been nice to have been supplied. They have a buffet breakfast each morning at the hotel. It's not inexpensive but was worth not having to get dressed and drive. It's a full range of eggs along with breakfast meats, fruit, cereal, oatmeal and grits, and pastries, breads, etc. Each day they also had a changing item added -- either corned beef hash, or biscuits and gravy, etc. If you didn't want the scrambled eggs as on the buffet, they would cook your eggs to order. And the buffet also included juice and tea/coffee or a beverage of your choice. With our meal credit ($30 each day), we couldn't beat the price anywhere else. We didn't take advantage of the pool. It was a bit cool for us, but a number of northerners were enjoying it along with the hot tub. We did have a lovely stroll along the beach (the hotel is beach front) to look for shells. And we did use our coupons at the outside tiki bar where I had a delicious coconut margarita. My husband was able to use the fitness center for his daily exercise. I used the hotels' computers -- there are two located next to the check in desk -- to research (on yelp, of course) a few restaurants and attractions. Would I stay here again? Yes. Free and easy parking. A nice comfortable modern room. Pleasant staff. And a convenient location. read more

We found this beachfront property to be a welcome refuge for our Thanksgiving holiday mini vacation. The staff were professional and helpful. Our room was very nice with a great ocean and pool view from our balcony. Breakfast buffet was good and very convenient. After a walk on the Beach we stopped at the pool side Tiki bar and had a great Coconut Margarita whipped by the knowledgeable bar tender because my wife cant have pineapple or mango in beverages. Very good and refreshing. The hotel was very convenient to destinations we wanted to visit in the area. Parking is adequate and there is a covered garage with access to interior elevators. After breakfast each day I got to visit the fitness center which has the latest equipment to work with. Wifi access and two computer terminals in the lobby worked very well! I read all the mixed opinions on this beachfront hotel before I arrived and was a smidge nervous given the many negative reviews. Arrival was great, the front desk staff was very welcoming, professional and friendly. We were in the North tower which has fantastic views of the beach/ocean. Yes, they are Juliette balconies but I could care less given the view was so outstanding... particularly at sunrise. Our room was standard looking, comfortable and clean. I have stayed at beachfront properties in California and found the rate here very reasonable for rooms with fantastic views. Yes they charge for parking, but knew that up front too so had no issue paying (super standard in my experience at beachfront hotels). The lobby was lovely and the access to the beach so easy... we even got to see a spectacular SpaceX launch on our last evening! read more

Seeking to return to Melbourne Beach this time was considering staying at the DoubleTree on A1A but a great rate became available at the Hilton Melbourne Beach so decided to stay there once again, especially after having such great experiences previously. There is plenty of parking available, although there is a daily fee but the lot is not gated so not being secured still seems strange that a fee is charged. The entire staff we encountered was very friendly and eager to please, especially upon check-in where I was upgraded to a 1 Kg Jr Suite Oceanfront - Sofa Bed - Balcony - thank you again! My guest room (1012) was large and clean with a sweeping northern, eastern, and southern view of the sprawling beach and Atlantic Ocean. The terrace was narrow and basically only permits standing so while I know not possible, a larger one would be nice having such an amazing view. I was even able to get some amazing sunrise pictures from it. The restaurant is open daily and for breakfast you can choose from the daily buffet or order off a menu. The servers we had on both days we were there were also very friendly and attentive, especially Tim who we've come to know now. While the swimming pool is relatively small, luckily it was not that busy when we were there, so finding a place to relax was not an issue and I think the lounge chairs were recently upgraded to have cushion toppers. The patio bar is great to have refreshments nearby with even a complementary coupon per guest given to Diamond Members at check-in. The hotel is right on the beach so from the pool to beach is literally just steps away and very convenient including pool-side showers. If you're looking for a hotel on the beach in a not so hustle and bustle area, then definitely check out the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront; no doubt, we will be back again soon! read more

If you are able to get an oceanfront view, that alone sells the hotel. It's such a therapeutic experience hearing the waves crashing onto shore. We also ate dinner at their bar last night it was good. Of note, they do have an impossible burger for vegetarians. The outside pool deck is also very pretty. We checked in Friday, September 29,2023 for our oldest daughter birthday weekend. As always you this Hotel never fail me. Customer service is always amazing the front desk staff are so nice and they make you feel welcomed. The room service staff is wonderful as well. We are never disappointed with the breakfast the coffee is amazing! I am a coffee person and every time we come we have to get the breakfast! I wish I knew the name of the coffee I will buy some for my house. This time we stayed in 909 & 910 the view is always amazing for me. I just open the door and watch the water which is so peaceful to me. Can not wait to go back again I think I have a visit set up soon. Location is great, but your stay will not be as great as the view. Rude front desk staff. I am a Hilton Diamond member, when I arrived, I inquired about any upgrades that may be available that I could use my accumulated points for, the front desk attendant stated they were sold out and no other rooms were available. One minute later a gentleman walked in off the street and spoke to the attendant who just walked up to greet him. She stated they had rooms available and could accommodate his needs.... We get to the room, it was a little warm, but figured it was because they had the balcony door open while cleanings. It was set @ 70 and the room was mid-70's. We left for the evening, returning to a room @ 78 and A/C was running full blast. Called front desk, they sent someone to check it right away. He offered fans, which I said was unacceptable. He said it would take 30 min to replace unit, which I accepted. Ten minutes later he was back with a replacement, which looked in worse shape than the original. He quickly swapped them, but that unit didn't work either. He left the room. We get a call from the front desk stating the A/C can not be repaired, no other rooms are available, and we can either take fans or do without. The next AM, I called the front desk because I was actually over charged for my stay. The front desk person told me that I was incorrect and he was looking at the reservation in the system. I was looking at the confirmation I received when I booked the room. He began talking over me because he was not going to listen to what I had to say, I repeatedly asked him to let me finish what I was saying. He said, he wasn't going to be spoken to in that fashion and hung up. He then then refused to answer calls from my room. Needless to say, my room was free before everything was said and done. We Uber'd to our event. Both drivers asked how was the hotel because they had heard many complaints about it, that should have been a warning. They stated everyone goes to the Crowne Plaza, it's cheaper and nicer. read more

Which brings me to our 2nd room, a side view and right over their tiki bar outside so as I sit on the balcony all I hear is that damn air fan below. For long visitors, no laundromat in Bldg. I was offered their valet laundry service which charges per item or a nice mile walk to their sister hotel double tree to do my laundry myself. Caffeine addict? They supply a coffee dispenser downstairs but will have to door dash a real strong coffee but hold the phone bc you can't get an americano anywhere near. So, if you want that drip in an IV form of caffeine be prepared to drive. read more
