The facility is new and clean, so new that the builders had left a couple of things in my unit! I called Eric and he was out within the hour to remove the items. The app is great no having to remember a key or combination and it is so easy to use. Security is great with both the main gate and your unit requiring separate access through the app. I have used other storage facilities in Hudson and they don't even compare to Atlas. I can't say enough about how helpful and responsive the manager Eric has been. Atlas Storage is undoubtedly the best self storage facility in Hudson.

The customer service I received was second to none. They are a large shipping company that still cares about the small sale of only one storage container to the little guys. The movers arrived promptly in a truck that looked new and clean and reliable. The movers were courteous and extremely careful with my furniture, wrapping and padding almost everything. I was moving out of a tricky location (three level townhome with narrow stairwells that had the added fun of 90 degree turns in each one) with some heavy, bulky furniture and into an older home with some less than desirable traits as far as moving goes (entry up stairs, narrow staircase into the basement with low ceilings) but they handled it all very well. The move went faster than I expected and my cost ended up being under what they'd quoted, which was honest of them and much appreciated. The only thing I'd liked to have had was an email confirmation or something when I scheduled the move. When I called to schedule they said I'd receive a call about a week before to just check in and confirm the date and time, which they did do, but an email confirmation the day I booked would have helped me know I was definitely on their schedule. Not that I needed have worried, they were great and I'd highly recommend them to move your possessions, too.

When I initialed called for a quote, what was told to me over the phone seemed reasonable and fair…read more I was sent an email quote saying it would be $255 per hour for the specific day I requested which was a Saturday. When I emailed to set up the move and confirm an arrival time, I received a response email saying it would be $275 an hour "because they were so busy that day." When I called to talk to an actual person about why my quote changed when my move date did not, I was then told it would be $295 an hour because they are busy that day and it's a weekend!?! And the guy who answered was super rude. My original quote went from $255 to 295 I guess because they can pick the rates based on what they feel like charging and written quotes don't mean anything. I didn't end up booking and would caution anyone to check this before booking with them and get a written guarantee they won't change their hourly rate on you.

This was a very disappointing experience for me. Several of my items were left in the back of their…read moretruck and it has taken far too long to get them returned -- and when something finally was dropped off it wasn't even the right piece. Then it took lots of nagging and broken promises to get one of the big pieces back. Even with that, one piece is still missing. Door frames (including a newly built garage frame) were left damaged. Hardwood floors got scratched because furniture was dragged, not lifted. Furniture was not put back the way it was found -- cushions were left on the floor and part of the couch (that wasn't part of the furniture being delivered) was turned upright. My floors were left dirty and they walked on white carpet with shoes on. One of the things they were hired to move was just left sideways on the ground. This was not the level of care or professionalism I expected. Their prices are on par with many other services but wildly unprofessional. Based on my personal experience, I would never use this company again, and I would recommend others think carefully before booking.
