It's ridiculous to have to literally ask to have a clean room only to have to come back to see a very unclean room but oh man they left a towel and toilet paper. Then we left again and asked for it to be cleaned and told someone would be up to clean immediately. Guess what? It wasn't cleaned again so for the third time we asked your asinine staff to clean the room only to be told "Here have a free night and a different room". Fine. Or at least it would've been if the room we got wasn't hot as all hell and looked trashy as all fuck because there was a huge gap under the door. So we just took our old room again because it was cooler and there was no bloody huge ass gap for no reason. It's a Hilton located next to a convention center that offers room service, paid wi-fi, restaurant on the premises and shuttle service to the airport. It's A-ok. Nothing really stands out with the exception of the nice staff on hand during breakfast at the restaurant. It's always great to start your day off with good service. read more

I have stayed at numerous Hilton hotels and this one was very good. Clean rooms, great location to almost anything, awesome service my the hotel staff on all levels. I really enjoy the lounge on floor 8 where I was and it was so nice to sit down and have a few drinks and some snacks after a long day of conferences. It would also be a nice hotel for visiting with a family. It has accommodations for almost any function. The staff really go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable and that means a lot. read more

Was here for a convention and when first arriving and checking in, we were told that then didn't have our reservation. When showing the girl the print out of our reservation she told us sorry we over booked and have no rooms available on the executive level. She then offered us a room on a lower level and told us "well you did pay less than everyone else on that floor anyways". When getting into our room, the room was clean and the beds are comfy. I also would like to stay the housekeeping staff was fantastic! The next day we went down to the restaurant for breakfast and after sitting for 20 min with the waitress never coming to take our order we flagged down a manager asking if someone could take our order, we needed to be to a meeting in 25 min. He took our order, never even asking if we wanted something to drink. After placing our order another 20 past, so we asked the waitress and she said it should be right out, so we asked her to box it up since we had to get to our meeting. Finally another manager came over and apologized for the delay and said he was not going to charge us for our order. Another 15 min went by and we still did not have our order. We finally had to leave without our food and my boss stayed behind to wait on it, she waited another 20 min and then when she received it the order was completely wrong. I appreciate the manager comping the meal but this doesn't explain the wait or lack of service. They really need to be better prepared for large groups! read more

Very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff. 1 King Bed Room on the private Executive Floor was very nice room with huge flat screen TV, beautiful view of TD Ameritrade Ballpark, nicely furnished bathroom and amenities, mini fridge, and 2 comfortable chairs. We like a little background noise when sleeping and had forgotten our fan, called Guest Services at 12:30am after a night on the town and they brought us a fan right up! The shuttle drivers were amazing and run all night. The Executive Lounge was also very nice and the gal sitting in there was wonderful. Only complaint is the Executive Lounge actually closes at 10pm which wasn't disclosed when we chose executive floor room. We paid an extra $50+ for that floor, returned after our night out hoping to grab a snack and a pop or water before bed by swiping our key to enter...and it was closed! You're in the Old Market area with many guests partaking in the nighttime activities of the area so having this open/accessible would be much more beneficial. If you're paying to stay on a private key-access only floor with a private key-access only lounge room that contains water, pop, fruit, coffee, granola bars, computers, etc...why not just make it accessible 24/7 for the guests that paid for it like most hotels do that offer these types of lounge rooms??!! Would've just stayed on regular floor and saved $50+. If you're going to be in the hotel all evening it may be worth it but if you leave to go see the sites, go to dinner, etc. doesn't gain you much. That was the only "issue" we have with the hotel and our stay but was enough to be mentioned as you're not in an area of Omaha that has places you can get some water, snacks, etc. as there are no gas stations, etc. around and the exec lounge closes at 10:00 and doesn't reopen until 7:00am the next morning. read more

The hotel is in a great location! I hadn't visited hotel for a few years, and since then I see it has been a bit unkept. I was disappointed to see my room, elevators and workout room were not as clean as I had experienced in the past. The staff was friendly. The slamming doors were quite noisy ( possibly due to inconsiderate guests). The food at the bar was way overpriced for what I recieved ( wings that were advertised with carrots and celery of which I did not get and had to ask for and was only brought a few peices) total cost of 2 draft beers and 3 chicken wings$27.. . Hopefully the staff and management can turn things around and make this hotel as nice as it used to be?! read more

I drove 8 hours and just wanted to park my new car, get something to eat and go to sleep. The valet said oh yes plenary of spaces in the garage. Drove around garage 4 times NO SPACES! Checked in and ordered dinner (burger & fries just fair) and the room they gave me was the COLDEST room I've ever stayed in!! Set temp at 80 all night and it was still freezing!! But the topper...woke up this morning got up and pulled the sheets back to find BLOOD on the sheets!! Thanks Hilton for totally grossing me out and a horrible stay! I will never stay at your hotel or any Hilton EVER AGAIN!! read more

A new, clean, very corporate feeling Hilton. No complaints aside from having to pay $10 for the fitness center per person, and the rooms were a little stuffy despite the AC being on full blast. Stayed here due to a good online deal but will probably opt for one of the boutique hotels that I usually stay in next time...more perks there and feels more personable. Would be a convenient location though if guests were doing anything at the AmeriTrade center, etc. read more

This is a nice Hilton and if you are attending an event at the century link convention center its located perfectly. If it's raining, there's a skywalk to the center. The bar is well stocked and has a decent menu with pretty good service. The room was very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. I'm not a fan of the little square pillows, but I usually bring my own everywhere. There was a fridge and coffee maker (pods - not k cups) but coffee was not anything to brag on. This encouraged us to visit the cafe downstairs that served Starbucks. Rooms were large, clean, quiet, comfortable and had nice bathroom toiletries in a decent sized bathroom. It was a fairly short walk to the old market area where loads of good restaurants, shops, and breweries are located. They provided free shuttle service [we tipped] to the airport and jackson street for us and they were eager to help us. There are 2 nice outdoor patios, one with a giant gas fireplace. Lobby was cavernous and so was the bar area so it accommodated conference groups well. This is right next to the ameritrade baseball stadium too. read more

Reading the prior reviews, it seems that people either love or hate this place, have a great experience or a miserable one. Fortunately I had a good experience. First, I love the hotel's airport shuttle that runs as early as 4:30 AM. I hate renting a car and avoid if at all possible, so Hilton made it possible for this trip. The hotel is within walking distance to the downtown business district (about 10 minutes) but was really located so it's adjacent to the Qwest center. My room was clean, large, and felt pretty new. The lobby is wide and inviting, with seats you can sink into and want to nap. For Diamond members, the lounge is well stocked although the dessert (canned, yes canned cookies) did not make me salivate. Still, I would stay here on a future visit without hesitation. read more

The Hilton Omaha downtown at the convention center was a very nice full service hotel. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. My sister booked two rooms that adjoined to a fabulous 'hospitality suite'. The suite was huge. I had a sizable kitchen, a full dining room and full living room with an attached bathroom with all the amenities. The hotel was hip, modern, and well kept. My only complaint would have been the minor issue we ran into the morning of the wedding. My sister was supposed to have the rooms for two nights. On our way out of the hotel to the wedding, my husband discovered they planned on moving her room without telling her. This was an issue because all of her, as well as the bridal party's things, were still in the suite. While everyone else in the bridal party left for the wedding, a few of us had to stay back to ensure that they did not move her room. In the end, everything was dealt with very well and we enjoyed our time at the Hilton. I would definitely stay in the future! read more

The lobby is open and really nice, The rooms, at least the one I was in, are small, especially for such a "swanky" and expensive hotel. Late night bar service is week. They basically make you feel like you're a burden on them. Ended up ordering delivery while waiting for my waitress. This hotel tries very hard to be exclusive, but the people working it are anything but. Concierge is fine (didn't get any appreciation for being a Hilton honors member for over a year though). Don't expect free wireless in your room unless you have higher status on Hilton honors. Room, bar, and restaurant service are very expensive compared to the surrounding options. Its Omaha for Christ sake. Chose this place strictly to obtain Hilton points, but may consider other options my next trip through. read more

This review is in regard to the "Pop up bar" at the Hilton which offered drinks and some limited food options before the Eric Church concert at the CenturyLink Center. Hands down, best service I have ever had! One look at my I.D. and one drink order and the bar tender (Pat), knew my name and drink order each time I went up to the bar. He had to have been serving over 300 people...so to retain this information was AMAZING! Plus the prices were a dollar or so cheaper than at The Mattress Factory and The Blatt...so win/win! read more

I don't like straight up Hilton hotels. This one has friendly staff, the room I got was ok, small, two beds, no fridge or micro, pricey, carpet needs to be replaced though the hotel seems new, no stair access to the floors, had to wait twenty minuets for an elevator, some of the room lights are burned out, parking lot is small and they allow customers for the qwest event center, no washing machines, and you must pay for Internet which to me is crazy due to the room rates, when cheaper more sleazy hotels offer it for free. It's not like they would go broke with free wifi. Wished I could have stay the entire time in the Hilton Garden Inn 3 blocks away, they have free Internet and better rooms. read more

So I understand their remodel is costing 60 million dollars and I will say the rooms an the public areas look very nice. They still charge guests for parking (very small parking garage) which you have to share with Quest Center attendees and the parking garage is open to the publice. 2 years ago i choose to not stay here again because I was kicked out of the parking garage for a sporting even going on at the Quest Center. Decided to give another chance with the remodel. I choose to pay the upgrade fee to the executive level rather than risk not getting upgrade automatically with my diamond status. There were not a lot of guests over the weekend and from the sound on the executive floor they put every guest up there. Friday night was very a nice evening an quiet. My wife and I ordered room service. $40 for chicken fingers, french fries, club sandwich, and 4 cookies. The chicken and french fries were good but they didn't provide any condiments (so no ketchup). The bacon on the club was literally raw. I had ordered this exact same meal at a Hitlon Garden Inn for $24 and it was very nicely prepared. The second night was horrible. We got back to the room at 10:30pm from dinner and a movie. Went up to the "Executive" floor to be greated by a couple kids running down the hall and pounding on a door non stop. Then, even though there hotel was almost empty, all the rooms around us had guests in them and at least one had a crying baby, which was easy to hear through the walls. Of course the guests were coming and going up tell around midnight so doors were slamming. I have given this hotel another chance and found they still are not worth the money. Not when you can go to the brand new Hampton Inn just 2 blocks away and have free parking, free internet, and much better service and quieter rooms. read more

I was excited to stay at a four star hotel for a one night vacation and when I walked in, the lobby was gorgeous the front desk person was sooo nice and welcoming so I was excited. Found out they charge 15 dollars a night for parking which I was not expecting. Then when I was walking up to my room I noticed some lights out in the hall, scuffs and marks on some doors and walls, dirty vents. Which I didn't think too much into and went to my room. My room was over all clean, the sheets were spotless and crisp but the whole room was extremely dusty, the knobs on the dresser were all facing different ways, the wall paper in the bathroom was starting to droop by the shower and some of the grout in the bathtub tile was molding also there was a very large stain on a chair that looked like bodily fluids that I avoided at all cost. It just wasn't exactly what I expected when I saw four stars, more like a 2 or 3 star hotel. read more

I work for an airline so I spend a LOT of time in hotels. This property was very nice. Clean, great beds and modern decor. The location is awesome. Directly across from the convention center, near the baseball stadium and the Old Market area (bars,restaurants and some small shops). The whole area is very walkable. Don't go to the hotel restaurant! Our server himself was great, but it took us at least 15 min to be SEATED. The place was fairly empty, but they were the most disorganized bunch I have ever seen. They advised they had a group of 150 science teachers staying and they came in each morning (but if you know that, why not be better staffed/prepared?), and that set them back. We were hoping for a relatively fast meal, as we were on our way to the zoo. Our meal took us over an hour. In retrospect it would have been easier if we had all ordered the overpriced buffet. However, we stupidly ordered off the menu and regretted it. Food on the buffet was actually better but not great. We ended up going to the Upstream Brewing Company the next morning and were not at all disappointed. Aside from that, the hotel was nice. They never mentioned the $14 they charge per night for the parking, so that was a surprise. read more

Was so-so. The rooms were ok, pretty dusty and outdated. The pool was not much to get excited about. More of a lap pool for business execs than a kid friendly pool. Super hot and stuffy in the pool area, and you are only allowed to take in bottled water. They charge an additional $14/night for parking on top of what you are paying for the nightly hotel rate. The lobby bar was our favorite part of the hotel. Decent food, good drinks and a great staff. We wouldn't stay here again....we would look for something a little more kid friendly and laid back. read more

Bed Bugs!!! I stayed at the Omaha Hilton, September 21-25, 2015. I woke up Friday morning with bed bug bites on my legs. I reported the situation to house keeping before I left. I never heard back from house keeping. I called Hilton Honors on Monday, September 28th. I had to call again to report the bed bugs at the Omaha Hilton. Semi-decent hotel if you don't mind walking a half mile to your room, or the lack of working internet connectivity. Can't say that cell service in building is good either, but the building itself is very posh looking internally. Oh, the one other thing I ran into was their rooms don't have fans in the bathrooms, so expect your room to be humid after showering. Beware of mold due to this! read more

Mixed feelings about this Hilton. We love staying at Hilton, such as San Francisco, but this Hilton is substandard. The room service attendant and housekeepers were friendly, attentive, and hardworking. The front desk staff should take some training from their peers- front desk staff, ignored us at check-in, seemed to have an attitude, and non-attentive. Same for the bartenders- they acted although we were interrupting them. Restaurant staff were friendly, but the restaurant was dirty- ugh. Room needed maintenance, such as tile in bathroom needed grout, desk lamp broken, fire detector- half hanging on the wall. Would not stay at this location, again. Next time, I will stay at Marriott or Embassy Suites. read more

We were passing through town and needed a hotel room for the night. We stopped at to previous ones before this one, but they were both booked. One of the employees at one of them helped us find this one. The only reason why I am rating it 3 stars is because when we got there I felt the clerk that checked us in was a bit rude and had an attitude (I don't know if it was bc we were checking in at 3 am). Normally, I wouldn't really care, but it was late and we had been on the road a while. We just wanted to rest and we were a bit stress trying to find a room (we also got a bit lost getting there bc we are from out of town) and his attitude made things worse. However, I did find that the employees that were at the front desk in the morning were a lot more friendly and helpful, so that made up for it a little. read more

This was the second time we've stayed at this hotel. The girl who checked us in was a trainee who didn't bother making eye contact. I suggested we splurge and rent the room on the executive floor just for fun. Unfortunately it wasn't worth the price. The skirt on the bed was covered in stains, and the bed didn't have a fitted sheet, just a loose sheet. On top of the bed cover was yet another loose sheet that had stains and a few small holes in it. The bed had four small pillows, and when we requested more they were brought up no problem but thrown on the end of the bed while we were gone. There were fingerprints and splatter marks on the furniture in the room and bathroom. The light in the shower flickered for a few seconds before turning on. Have fun paying an additional $15 to park your car in their garage as well. Don't order breakfast, it's overpriced and their coffee tastes like an ash tray. Frustrating experience for what you expect to be a quality hotel. read more

I'm torn with this review. Here's my disclaimer: I booked through hotels.com and I accidentally booked a room at a "you get whatever's left" rate. So, considering I was at this hotel during the International Rainbow for Girls organization, or whatever they're called, they were short on rooms. So they stick me in a putrid smoking room. OK, I have never ever stayed in a smoking room at a hotel. Ever. How people can stay in a hotel room that smells like that is beyond me. So anyway, before I realized how awful it was, I agreed. Then I realized the extent of the stench and called hotels.com straight away to try to cancel the reservation and book somewhere else. Well, long story short, the Omaha Hilton would not let me cancel my non cancellable reservation, even though the smell really bothered me. In essence, they are assholes. But, I guess it is my fault that I booked the room that I booked. However, I believe they should have allowed me to cancel that reservation because the smell of smoke like that is seriously sickening. It's not like I wanted to cancel because the pillows weren't fluffy enough. So yeah, one star to the jerk staff who wouldn't let me cancel. Won't stay here again. read more

We just stayed two nights over Labor Day weekend. I wasn't impressed. For the rates we paid I would have liked to have breakfast and parking included. Nope. An extra $14 a day for self parking, not valet. And they wanted an extra $35 per day for an upgrade to include cocktails and breakfast. I declined as I can pay less for breakfast for two of us at ihop. There was literally no place to park outside the hotel for free. The room was subpar. The decor is blah and the chairs weren't comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean with fresh linens daily. The carpet had several stains. The window looked out to a stucco wall. The lobby downstairs was so noisy you practically had to shout to person next to you. No adult only time in the pool. The menu items were all super over priced. We will not be back. I feel we can spend our hard earned money more wisely. No vending machines and no BTN to watch huskers . Only on a 32" tv in the noisy bar area. Last but not least the housekeeping crews came in or room the morning of check out early while we were still sleeping with no knock or anything and woke us up with the light. Didn't say anything and walked back out and closed the door. About startled me half to death. read more

Highly will not recommend or stay at this Hilton again. I suggest if you have a large meeting to plan to stay clear of this facility. Once the sales manager, which was excellent, finishes getting the hotel contract then the event planner steps in and zero assistance and guests are told the block of rooms are sold out for your event. Little compassion from anyone that works for Hilton at this location. When I get a call back from a bad review it is little empathy and basically scripted. read more

absolute garbage human beings! my service dog was attacked in their garage and they left the blood all over the place in there for my entire stay! they not only charged me a pet fee for my service dog even though hes in critical care not even here, they even charged me for emergency calls i made for my room!!! also they told me my second night would be free and then slammed me with the charge anyway! no compensation, no fucks given about me or anybody! enjoy parking in a garage full of dog blood! they keep treating me poorly and dont even realize this was on the news. read more

Stayed here for a conference. They wanted me to pay a gym fee use if I didn't want to join their rewards club. I've never ran into this and did not like. The rooms were nice- although I read previous reviews that stated trash was left under their bed so I checked mine and found a plastic sack. There was also an imprint next to the sink where I could tell a previous guest toothbrush had been. Otherwise the room appeared clean and the bed was very comfortable. For the price they charged I would not return here. read more

the place is not bad overall, but they need to do something about their outdoor veranda. It would be a really nice area to hang out, make phone calls, socialize, or just relax, but, unfortunately, Hilton is not taking care of it very well. First of all, the entire area is generally filthy, sticky tables and floor, cigarette butts, flies everywhere. Secondly, the tables are wobbly and so if you want to work on them, forget it. They need to get the tables fixed so they don't wobble. Third, they've got several t.v.s placed so that there's no escaping them on the entire veranda and they're blaring loud all the time. Very obnoxious.. can't even make a phone call out there. Really surprised Hilton Company would allow one of their properties to be maintained in such a shabby manner. read more
