Considering that I had been inside a room set to cold temperatures and wrapped in nothing but a paper thin sheet with no one to update me let alone check in on me was plain disrespectful and unprofessional. When I called customer service they said they would reach out to me but getting in touch with one of their "directors" from then on was challenging and a headache. When I was eventually able to get a hold of one they were dismissive and rude. There were unusual times when my concerns and inquiry into a cancellation were met with silence. She would resume speaking as if she was using a script. She redirected me to PatientFi my loan provider to cancel my remaining sessions but never told me the prices of the treatments done that day with Mary would revert back to their original price, 70% more than I had originally agreed to. (I had locked in a discount during one of their "major sales". Btw they'll make it seem like it's rare but I was bombarded with spam email regarding this same sale and additional sales from then on.) This was a drastic jump and when addressed I was told it's policy and because I was no longer a patient they would not be mitigating the experience I had at Calabasas...??? As I look at the receipts that I requested I also see that they're charging me double for 1 treatment. They split what was originally 1 treatment of "full back" in the original receipt to 2 treatments of "lower back" and "upper back" in the modified receipt. I'm extremely put off with LaserAway's lack of ethics and professionalism. I hope shining a light on their duplicitous tactics and bottom tier service will steer away future prospects from getting scammed. Ultimately I'm left to pay a lot more for a lot less and a lot worse. Notice how there's no specific pricing for treatments on their website either! SHADY. This is how they're getting away with arbitrary price alterations. The price of the treatments I had done came out to more than what they would have cost in their original package pricing (as listed in my first receipt). If you want to be ethical be transparent and post specific standard prices on your site! I would strongly advise people to avoid this place! It's fraudulent and unprofessional. If you're still not convinced check them out on Better Business Bureau where there's a list of similar complaints.

I attempted multiple times to reach someone and couldn't get through. I even messaged them more than 24 hours ahead of my appointment explaining that my son and I had the flu, and they still charged me a cancellation fee. On top of that, their membership system feels like a trap. I've accumulated multiple laser facial sessions that I haven't been able to use because I got sick twice last year and had to take antibiotics. For laser treatments, you have to wait until you finish the antibiotics plus another 10 days before you can even resume services. Meanwhile, the sessions just pile up. The worst part is that you can't redeem any of those sessions unless your membership is currently active, so you're basically forced to keep paying or lose services you already paid for. To make matters worse, two separate times my lash extensions were burned off during treatments, and when I complained about it, nothing was done. No compensation, no attempt to make it right. Between the impossible cancellation system, unfair membership rules, and poor customer service, this place feels like it's designed to take your money rather than actually care about clients.

So happy I found a better laser company now that actually knows what they're doing and are educated in this area to tell me what to do/not to do.
