TEN THINGS First...great dentistry! Second front desk Brooke, always with a smile, works with your schedule to accommodate even the busiest of schedules. Third ....did I mention the great dentistry! Fourth...you r teeth will feel smooth and ultra clean and free if all that nasty tartar build up. Five...my free tooth brush was superb. Six... hot beverage while you 'almost' wait, they've waited for me. Seven...wonderful evening hours for those who commute or get home at odd times. I missed my first appointment due to a hectic schedule and a friendly voice called and kindly rescheduled. Eight... they have an amazing text system that lets you know a week In advance of your appointment and then the day before your appointment. This is a great feature. Nine... it's usually noted that insurance doesn't cover everything for teeth but when there is going to be a bill everything is explained with all options and choices of different choices. Even I f you go with a cheaper option there is great understanding and detailed explanations for no misunderstandings. Ten...Nice and family oriented there are children ,seniors, teens as well as middle aged patients...she runs very close to on time for a doctor. Yes! took my elderly mother there, the people were kind, just remember if its your first time take a picture id. she was asked for one. i like it's location, and the office has a nice friendly atmosphere. her appointment was a 9 and we were on our way by 10 30. the check in was simple . the office is clean and inviting. good parking , and close to the highway if you have to travel any distance. my mother said her experience was pleasant , it's nice to know the people that were there to care for her actually did just that, so it's all good. read more

I made an appointment with this dental office late 2016, because I had just moved to the area and needed to find a dentist close to home. I was experiencing pain in one of my wisdom teeth. When I called to make the appointment I asked if they took my insurance and was told they did accept my insurance, so I made the appointment. Upon entering the examination room, I noticed how old school they were, equipment from like the early 90's or even earlier. But at this point the wisdom tooth was killing me, so I proceded with the exam. They took a x-ray of the tooth in question and identified it as needing to be pulled. Then the dentist requested a full mouth x-ray to see how the rest of the mouth was. She took a look at the x-ray and said that the remaning wisdom teeh should be pulled as well as a broken root canal. So I made the appointment to have one side done, one dental visit. Well I was in and out of her office for the next 5 weeks, between the extractions and cleanings (scaling). I had one last visit and I would be done. I had one more visit which I was told was a folollow up, but my experiance on the prior visits I had is I always shelled out $100.00 for each office visit, and each time I would question the charge. See my insurance covers 2 free cleanings a year and pays 80% of any other procedure, so that was my question for them, why am I having to pay on a cleaning, I was told Scaling cost more. Well on my last visit I called to see what my out of pocket would be, I was told $140.00, so I said why so much I was told it is a follow up and a measure of the bone lost for insurance purpose. The receptionist said, well it is, but they are going to make sure the got everything on the previous cleaning. Then I was told that they had not recieve the payment from my insurance company on my very first visit, and that they were told the insurance company had mailed the payment to my house. Well I had not recieved this paymnet so I then told the receptionist I would have to call my insurance company to see what was giong on. Then receptionist told me besides that first payment that was lost I still owed more money on the account. I asked how that could be, the receptionist said they had run through my $1000.00 allocated for the year, and that I needed to set up a payment plan for the remaining balance. I had my insurance company send me my list of payouts for this dentist, was also told that she was not part of the dental network and will not ajust her charges, which also caught me by surprise, again I asked them before any apointmnets were made if they accepted my insurance, again she said yes but never said they were not part of the network. So upon reviewing the payouts my insurance company made in my behave, I noticed that I had been charge $176.00 per tooth to be extracted, I had three done that day and went back for the fourth to be pulled, the charge for the last one was $280.00 surgically removed. So I thought I had an discrepancy in the bill because it was not surgically removed it was extracted just like the other ones, by the way it was not imparitive that I have the other wisdom teeth pulled at this time. So I went into the dental office to set up my payment plan, and noted the discrepancy in the bill. The receptionist said that was wierd the charge for a wisdom tooth pull is $280.00, so she called the dentist out to talk with me. She explained that the first extractions were easy so she would have felt bad charging me so much but the last one she charge normal price. I then question, me being a new patient why I was not told in the very begining that she was not part of the network and compared what she charges and what the insurance company considers a fair charge for any procedure. She then tells me that is because my insurance is crap and that she should be paid the going rate,I was like "wow I can't believe this dentist just said that to me"!! In other words the insurance company's low ball Dr.'s. Needless to say I do not have a leg to stand on so I set up my payment plan to pay off the balance of $1,100.00, but I am still thrown by her explanations of the charges and how my insurance is crap (Blue Cross/Blue Shield)..... read more
