Hina salon has done masterful job of managing the risk for COVID-19. They are keeping capacity low, so you don't ever feel like you are putting yourself in jeopardy. My local eyebrow place is closed due to the pandemic so I had to go searching for another one...reviews led me to Hina's. But guess what...its a 30min drive from me. Did that stop me? No, because my eyebrows are precious. So I've been going here for probably 3 times now, and every time I go I feel like she's always on this time crunch and always so antsy about times and appointments. My most recent visit was 12/22, my appt was 4:30, I probably reached there at 4:05..I waited in my car (as to not be so early)...until about 4:15ish when I saw her other appointment prior to mine leave, through her back door (will circle back to this). So I waited a few minutes, and then called her at 4:20. She said I was early but to come in. So I go in and she's by herself and she says it again "I'm early". Okay? I know? Not sure if thats small talk but my eyebrow ladies don't really question me about time..I actually thought I'd be doing her a favor. So she does my eyebrows in like 2-3mins which is great, and she always makes them perfect (hence the only reasons for the stars). I pay her the $10 and I ask her if I can use the restroom, you know, since I drove 30mins, I had to go. She tells me no..I'm like what?! Really thinking it was a joke. She literally told me "no, I just follow the law"...seriously though?! Im your customer, who is PAYING you for your business and she tells me I can't use it. I'm sorry, but please educate me on what law this is, where I can't use your business bathroom? Because this is a first I'm hearing about this. I was so extremely disgusted at this point because i work for the health industry..I wouldn't want to use your bathroom either..but if I have to go, I have to go. The bathroom is opened for people to wash their hands prior to having a service done on them, so didn't really understand the issue. I didn't even argue with her when she told me this..I was more baffled. Even a fast food place let's you use their bathroom. I just wonder what would happen if she was told no for asking to use the restroom when she really had to go and paid for services from an establishment. After being told no, to simply use a bathroom, I asked her if I can leave through the back door (the same one I came in) because she implements this one way traffic flow in her salon. She tells me no again, that I have to use the front door. So I basically have to walk out the front and around to the back to get to my car, especially on a chilly day. Mind you, no one is in the salon except for me and her..and she was done with my eyebrows at 430 (my original appt time)..so who exactly would I come into contact with if I left through the back? And what really bothers me is that the people prior to me, left through the back door. So why couldn't I? What's with the inconsistency? Its all b.s. if you ask me..I don't appreciate being treated like this, and for me paying $10 a visit for eyebrows, I should be treated WAY better. I've never paid so much for my eyebrows before, but I thought why not. I'm definitely considering other places which are less than half the price of this and are near me who will treat me with a friendlier attitude. I'm just so done with this place! Her threading skills may be good, but the customer service is trash. Thank god I didnt tip her extra like I would have, she doesn't deserve it..to use a bathroom for a minute?! Come on read more

Hina's Salon is clean and modern. She made me feel welcome right away. Love my brows - I recently started threading them and like it a lot more than waxing. Much less irritation with threading. I also did the 15 min facial and it was awesome. My skin already looks amazing and is glowing - and it was very convenient time-wise. Hina also uses organic masks which was important to me because I am currently pregnant. She even went as far as contacting the buyer to confirm it was ok to use on a pregnant woman when I had initially inquired about it prior to coming in for my appointment. I really wish I could give a better review for Hina. She was such a genuine and kind person and she made great effort to make me comfortable throughout the process of an eyebrow waxing and threading. But sadly, I left the salon to find that she had burned off the skin under my eyebrow. I have had my eyebrows waxed many times and never been burned, and never could have expected to be burned like this. Although it is healing, I won't return in fear of being burned again. read more

I moved here couple of months ago from PA and was deseprately looking to find someone for my hair and waxing and so on and honeslty, I found her. Took baby steps since i had to get to know her but i couldn't be happier with my eyebrows, i have never tried eyebrow threading and its fantastic and she is so gifted with knowing what would look good. I called before going to make sure I didn't need an appointment for eyebrow threading. From the call I can tell Hina is a true professional. Told me there was parking, asked me for my name and said she looked forward to seeing me. When I got there I was greeted with the same warmth by Hina and as she started to do my eyebrows she explained there shape and what exactly she was going to do and fix. I had an issue with my roots being lighter when I got my hair done and expressed my unhappiness that I had to pay twice via yelp and I was surprised to find the owner not only reached out to me but offered me a refund. Went to Hina's for the first time today and it was amazing! My other threading studio closed so I started researching other places and found Hina's. I can't say enough positive things about her and her salon! She is so pleasant, professional and accommodating and her salon is pristine! Hina made me feel right at home and was very attentive and considerate of my time. She offers a wide range of services-threading, waxing, facials, hair color, make-up, etc... I also got an mini-facial which is a facial mask that sits for 10-15 minutes and then gets peeled off. My eyebrows look great & I felt like a million bucks walking out of there!
