don't waste your time calling them for weekend emergencies although they do advertise service 24 seven I placed a call to them yesterday at 7 AM and talked to there answering service and was advised that they would forward my information regarding my A not cooing. These folks have serviced this unit for six years. Almost 36 hours later I'm still waiting for a Call. Thank goodness for Winter Haven They did respond to my call yesterday and had my unit up and running within two hours. read more

A great and pleasurable experience from start to finish. Replaced my old Trane unit of almost 20 years with a Daikin. This was a recommendation from one of the ladies in the office when I called and asked questions about their systems and also from the salesperson Chad, who showed up at my house and gave me quotes on different brands and models. Both recommendations were a determining factor on my purchase. This particular AC system has a 12/12/12-year warranty and was about the same price as a Trane unit with a 10/5/5-year warranty, so it was a no brainer. The installation guys showed up on time and ready to work. They were a team of four and were well knowledgeable as to what they had to do. They took out the old one and put in the new one in about 3.5 hours. Everything went smoothly and they were very professional. I had dozens of questions as I watched the whole installation, and they answered all of them. They cleaned up everything and showed me how to work my new thermostat. A new outer shroud/duct was ordered and made within a few days and installed as promised. I cannot say enough how happy I am with the whole experience. From the girls in the office, the salesman Chad and the four guys that installed the unit all were extremely helpful and went out of their way to answer all my questions. Unsurpassed Customer Satisfaction! First and foremost my experience searching for a new AC was exhausting! But it paid off! The last quote came from Joe Springer; He took the time to thoroughly inspect my home and shared his knowledge and expertise with me. He answered my question truthfully, gave me plenty of options and allowed me to make the best informed decision. I felt no pressure. Honestly, he had quotes at every level low, mid, and high, all in relation to quality and efficiency. The quote I chose was a little more than the other quotes but I certainly agreed to his recommendation. His honesty and integrity was there, I knew I was making the right decision. Plus, it was great to take advantage of the No Interest Promotion and Rebates. It was a win win! I purchased the Trane XV20i which is Trane's top-of-the-line central air conditioner, with a SEER of up to 21 and the Hyperion XL Variable-Speed Air Handler. The complete system runs quieter than I expected. The system however does run longer but for a purpose; at variable speeds to maintain an efficiently running system. The BIGGEST benefit is my reduced bill; I was normally getting an electric bill of about $300 per month running the A/C in the summer and so far my bill hasn't surpassed $160. That's 53% less in cooling cost in the summer. Fantastic! The additions: The ComfortLink™ II XL950 thermostat was a good choice, it ensures the system is maximizing its efficiency. It's like the command post with all the bells and whistles. We enjoy checking the weather and seeing our usage by month or day. You can see and control the humidity as needed. We definitely enjoy the Wi-Fi connection and using the Nexia app when we need to adjust the air. The wife was very pleased to the have the CleanEffects™Air Cleaner installed with the system. Her allergy issues dropped tremendously. We have pets and this really helped cut down allergens. A big plus! I chose to have Springer Bros regularly maintain and clean the system twice a year. Our technician Brandon was fabulous. He diagnosed our issue and determined we needed a blower motor. He explained our options and had equipment on his truck to rectify our problem. He was very knowledgeable and answered our questions fully. He worked quickly and was unobtrusive, even apologizing in case he was holding us up from evening plans. Outstanding AC service. My AC went out on a Saturday, called Springer Brothers Saturday, mid-afternoon. Service Technician, Chris, called me within minutes of my call, and assured me that he would make every effort to get to my house that afternoon, following another call he had in Winter Haven. Chris called back as promised when en route from W.H., got to my house after 5:00, and had the defective part replaced, and my AC back working fine before 6, at a reasonable cost, with no pressure or up-selling. I contacted Springer Air Condition upon their glowing recommendations on the internet from their clients. We had recently purchased a home wherein the master bedroom was about 10 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Called Springer A/C and they sent out Nate, their installation manager. He was prompt and extremely courteous. During this time, we heard how lucky he was to work for Springer family and could not wait for the owner to retire, as he would take his place and move up the ladder. This is not what any customer needs to hear as they are discussing work that needs to be completed on their homes. He looked over the ductwork and the air handler and stated that he needed to replace the ductwork back to the plenum after he replaced both the plenums as they were vibrating too much, and place a return in the master bedroom which would solve the problem. The cost of this venture was just under 1K. We agreed and it was scheduled 30 days out (because of the heat and a vacation - which I found out was his upon calling to see if we could move the appointment up as we were suffering in the new home. After leaving two messages for Nate to contact us back, without the courtesy of a return phone call; we had to find another company that would get our problem corrected as soon as possible. I have since hired another company, out of Eagle Lake, which came out the after my first call, no charge for the diagnosis and within a week had the problem corrected for a reasonable rate. I would recommend that you NOT contact Springers if this is how they treat their clients. read more

Chris came out before 5:00 on January 3, 2018 (the night of Winter Storm Grayson when the temp was due to fall to 29 degrees) as I had turned on my heat that morning and it just stopped about 12 noon. He determined that two factors caused my heat pump to stop working and stayed until 7:30 rewiring my heat pump (a rat had chewed my wires) and installing a new thermostat (the rain had caused a short in the wiring). He did not assume that either was the only factor that caused my heat pump to stop working, but checked everything connected and fixed both problems. Terrible Company! Lazy technician did nothing except sit outside beside my unit and talked on his phone. Once he was 'finished' he stated he did not find a problem, charged me 79.00 and left. Springer Brothers A/C & Heating is an excellent company. They installed two Trane systems in our home in 2008 and they did a great job. We had them install the Clean Effects filters a few years later. They service our units on a regular basis and are very responsive if we have a problem. All of their work is first class.
