Wish I could give this more stars. Absolutely amazing adventure. The staff is incredible. From the time you check in on Sunset Pier until you step foot off of the vessel, you're going to be in the best hands possible. The service is just extraordinary. We were always asked if we needed our drinks refilled, a blanket, if we were comfortable, etc. Just a lovely experience. The views were great and watching my the workings of the sailboat was a great experience. All staff were knowledgeable and helpful in helping passengers understand where we were and what we were looking at. They also asked questions about where we were from and had great conversations with all of us. The vessel itself is large and has ample seating to get a view of the sunset no matter where you are. There's a large restroom and a covered area if you wanted to go below deck. The cruise included unlimited drinks and small snacks that were delicious! I can't recommend this excursion enough. I don't even know where to start - from start to finish our charter with Argo Navis was exceptional. Right from the get-go before we boarded the boat - Captain Emyl was charming and gracious. There was 3 other crew members, whos names I have forgotten (except Emma), but they were all phenomenal! We had a sunset cruise from 4-6pm. While it was cloudy and a little chilly, that did not dampen the mood on the boat in the least bit, and they had blankets all over for our use. The boat itself is large and has plenty of room inside and out. Majority of everyone chose outside, either on the front or back. The bar is open almost the entire trip, which is awesome. They crew comes around so often and you are never without a drink. They had everything you could want! The apps were delicious, as well, and they came around in perfect intervals to offer them. If there was extra apps, they had them inside for you to grab if you wanted. We had a lovely time sitting on the front and chatting with other groups. The views were beautiful, even though we didn't get a stunning sunset. I would absolutely recommend the Argo Navis charter to anyone looking for a fun way to spend an evening in Key West and I'd love to join them on a Sunday Brunch cruise! read more

A sea dance amongst the stars The graceful cat slid through the wavy sea without sway. There was no bass banging or drunk men swaying . Only wonder and awe for this tall sleek lady of the sea, Argo Navis's crew showed outstanding seamanship and consummate stewardship. No plastic smiles or utensils on this sexy ship . Just authentic skill and genuine niceness. Despite arriving late for a sunset sail with my wife, the crew remained calm and unhurried. The captain steered the big cat effortlessly through the busy port. The huge sails billowed with wind as we took off into the sunset. The sail was accompanied by delicious appetisers . My favourite was the locally made spicy smoked fish on pita bread. The greatest impression left by the Argo Navis was the crews dedication to a chilled atmosphere. The pandemics tension melted away as the cosmos greeted us with wind and a smile. I give this Hindu sea dance experience five . My only regret was not seeing the Argo Navis constellation covered in a Golden Fleece. On second thought I prefer a golden doodle. Oh well-maybe next time. One love One more thing..... I left four blue dragonfly bracelets with Jill. Our sunset cruise upon the Argo Navis was going to be a highlight of our trip to Key West. We booked it two weeks in advance so that we would be sure to be aboard. Two hours before our departure time, we received a call telling us the captain had canceled the sail because of low occupancy. Additionally, there was no attempt by Argo Navis to book us on another sunset cruise and we attempted ourselves, but every other boat was already full. This is very suspicious in that Argo Navis has low occupancy and all the other sunset cruises were fully booked? ARGO Navis had already been paid in full for this cruise. Accepting payment should constitute a contract between Argo Navis and their customers. By cancelling our cruise, they clearly put profits above their commitment to fulfill any contract. Missing this cruise has greatly distressed us and thwarted a once in a lifetime experience. The lackluster apology stating that "it was an unfortunate circumstance", is interpreted as "they aren't going to make a profit" and is no consolation to the experience we have been denied. Shame on Argo Navis for not fulfilling a contract and not caring about their customers. By canceling the cruise at the last minute and not providing any alternative for that evening, they have greatly distressed us and impacted our Key West vacation. Anyone thinking about booking with Argo Navis should reconsider because the experience can be ripped from you just because the captain considers the trip NOT to be profitable. The next time I'm in Key West I'll be booking with a more reliable and considerate company. read more

Buyer beware!!! Argo Navis does not honor reservations!! On August 25, 2023, I made a "reservation" for a party of 4 for a sunset cruise on my husband's birthday, December 30, 2023. At that time, I was told that 12/30/2023 was available, received all of the relevant confirmations as well as booking information regarding the sail, boarding instructions, etc.... and planned the rest of our trip accordingly. I received a notice today, November 5, 2023, that the date was no longer available. Was offered three different dates to "rebook"... none of which were during the week that we would be in Key West. When I called to inquire, I was told that as we were the only persons to reserve on that day... hard to believe as it is apparently a very busy time to visit Key West. The lady on the phone (apparently the messenger for the owners) was pleasant about it and did finally say that they had received a request to book the entire boat for a private charter and opted to cancel our reservation!! Would have been palatable if there had been some "issue" that pre-empted the sail. But no, they opted to cancel our reservation 2 months in advance rather than wait to see if they received more reservations!!... Kind of crappy way to treat potential customers, IMO. I did receive a refund "minus" the processing fee. BUT as THEY cancelled my reservation with no option to rebook during the week that we would be there, one would think they could cover the processing fee....right?! They had full use of my funds for over two months!!! In my experience, even though you make a "reservation" with Argo Navis, you are not guaranteed a sunset sail with this company. read more

This is THE sunset sail to do!! I can't say enough amazing things about the experience, the crew, the ship, and the food. The captain and crew was extremely friendly and personable. We passed by many companies that we had thought about doing a sunset sail with and they were all packed with people, blaring music, or on tiny boats. The evening we sailed, there was only our group of 6 and one other couple; however I believe they will take as many as 35 people on sunset sails. We booked our sunset wedding cruise on the Hindu from CA and were nervous about making arrangements like this from so far away. Chelsea was amazing, always took my call or returned it shortly, had an answer to all of our questions, found the officiant for us and coordinated with the Hemingway Rum Co. Honestly, there are not enough words to say how grateful I am to Sam, Chelsea, Nik and the whole crew for creating a perfect wedding experience for our family and friends. When we all arrived at the boat around 6pm and were met by the owner who gave me the most beautiful yellow lei. It was a perfect addition with the other flowers and ceremony. I was afraid the wind of the boat going through the water would make it uncomfortable for pictures and chilly for our friends but it was the opposite. The sail was so quiet, peaceful and the sunset was amazing, it was everything I had hoped. We had an early dinner and the tray passed fruit, chocolate and goodies were a perfect match with the cocktails the Hemingway Rum company provided. I can't believe we waited 15 years to do a sunset cruise, but so happy that when we finally did it, we did it with the Hindu crew. What a perfect cruise! I typically review restaurants and bars, but I MUST put out a good word for Hindu Charters in Key West. They traditionally have a wooden schooner that takes out daily charters but that is currently under dry dock maintenance. We set sail on the Argo Navis, a 75ft custom luxury catamaran launched in 2016. Our large group did a sunset cruise which included a Captain and crew, complimentary adult beverages to include wine, cheeses, meats, breads with dipping oils, and a wonderful sunset view. This 2 hour cruise was piloted by an owner/Captain that pulled a u-turn in a tight dock with inches to spare. The price, crew, luxury yacht, and professional class beat out all competitors (Fury, Sebago, etc). Highly recommended for large or small groups looking for an upscale experience at very competitive prices. This is the Royal Caribbean/Norwegian over the Carnival/Bud Light cruises. Stocked with premium drinks, and select meats and cheeses. They take a smaller number of people per trip which is just right. The crew was very friendly and enjoyed visiting and answering questions. We stumble across this sailboat while strolling on the dock after dinner and couldn't help noticing the joy of the persons that just finished their sunset tour, so we signed up for the next day tour on a whim. Good idea! Wonderful experience! The crew of 5 was so friendly, answering questions, engaging in conversations and truly seem to love what they are doing. About 20/30 passengers on board, so it was very peaceful and did not feel crowded. Gourmet cheeses, meats, breads, and chocolates were served accompanied by terrific wines and other beverages as we sailed for a little over 2 hours during what turned out to be a low-key sunset. EXCEPTIONAL! Our summer visits to Provincetown are not complete without a sail or two on the lovely Hindu. The crew is top-notch; seasoned young sailors who eagerly answer questions about the Hindu, the waters she sails in, the most basic or most technical elements of sailing her, or just about anything else; all while making it look effortless. We spoke with one of the crew one morning as they were performing maintenance on the boat. The gentleman was very informative, polite and interested in our visit to Key West. We decided to book four of us the next evening and made phone contact via the YELP App. They took our reservation without a credit card (since they remembered us). We arrived about an hour before sailing and took care of the paperwork. Credit card processed dock-side and receipt e-mailed within minutes. The dock got crowded (so get there early) but all guests were respectful. We boarded quickly and were given brief but important instructions. The captain motored out of the harbor then asked the crew and some volunteers to hoist the sails. What a wonderful experience; nothing but wind in the sails and wine in your cup. The crew provided cheese, wine and breads. There was plenty of seating and, oh yeah... the sunset was beautiful! read more
