This is another situation where it is important being very knowledgeable yourself and not depend upon someone else's assurances. Again, I cannot recommend this company. We paid another company to correct the issue due to Best Stone not being available for another couple of weeks and when I asked Best Stone to split the cost, was told too bad they would have fixed the issue at no cost. The problem was they were not available, did not seem to understand the issue, and we were already over 12 weeks into the project with an event on the calendar.

In installation, Pablo went above and beyond in making our sink fit in the master bathroom--we had bought what we thought was the right dimensions, but when he pulled out the old one it was flat in back, instead of oval all around. He said he could try to cut it but it might break. We were fine with that risk--and he did a great job. Impressive.

This was our first time working on such a project, and it was not cheap. Communicating with Nancy was great from the beginning to the end. She helped answer all of the questions and concerns that came up over a 6 week period while we shopped several suppliers, fabricators, and installers in North Austin. Toluca's quotes were the most competitive by far, and when we thought we had finally chosen our quartz material, Nancy suggested an alternative that was of similar quality and design but more affordable. It was an excellent suggestion, and we went with it. Installation took 2 days and was a very labor-intensive, DUSTY process. Fortunately we weren't living in our home during the installation. Unfortunately, there were a couple major mistakes made. We felt disappointed and immediately communicated the problems to Nancy the next day (Friday before Memorial Day). Nancy assured us that she would share our concerns during a large meeting that same day and that Toluca would resolve the issues. Well, Toluca came out on the following Monday, Memorial Day, to make things right. The final result turned out exactly as we had planned, and we are very pleased with the results. I will note that their installation team could have been more professional by cleaning up after themselves instead of leaving trash and tools behind, and this was also mentioned to Toluca. However, I have to give Toluca credit for standing up to their mistakes and following through to make sure we felt completely satisfied. They certainly did that in several ways, and we appreciate them. I want to give Honorato a shout out because he was enjoyable to interact with, and he helped build my confidence in Toluca. He came out twice for the initial and final measurements before the install, and he came out a third time on Memorial Day to fix the major concerns and a fourth time to fine tune a hole cut that we needed to enlarge. We would consider Toluca again for the future, and we recommend researching them for your countertop project.

I shared with Suzie that my goal was to have a place for guests to sleep and entertain. I have an area that is about 5ft long by 2 ft deep and Suzie found a fold out couch and coffee table that fit perfectly. To make sure they had a comfortable place to sleep, she had the mattress re-stuffed and purchased the most comfortable sheets and pillows I have ever slept on. She decorated it with pillows that perfectly matched my antique rug and colorful chair. For my 20 ft high ceilings, Suzie recommended very long curtains that go mid point to the wall. It created a elongating effect that every person who has visited my house has made a comment on how much they love the curtains. I have been so happy with Suzie's recommendations. She went above and beyond what I even thought the space could look like. I had never used a designer before but when I met Suzie and shared my concerns you can tell she knows what she's doing. I am so happy every time I walk into my home thanks to her and her staff.

Chuck installed floor and shower tile in a brand-new bathroom at my house a while back. We starting…read morehaving problems almost immediately. He didn't put a membrane under parts of the main bathroom floor, so all those tiles cracked on the floor cracked within a couple years. I had to call someone to repair the tiles. They cracked again. The shower slope was completely off so all the water drained into the corner of the shower. It pooled up and we had to squeeqee it for years. I called Chuck and sent him pictures of the terrible job. He sent a guy back out who demo'd some of the shower floor and slapped it back together worse than the first time. PHOTOS: Notice the cracked floor. Notice the water stains where the water clearly pooled up in the corner from an incorrect slope. Notice the cheap plastic he used for the shower pan. The shower pan liner tore, maybe during the demo mess they had to do to fix their first error. So all the water not only pooled to one corner, but it all got trapped under the liner. The water then mixed with the mud underneath and became a black mold nightmare. Smelled like sulfur with every shower. I lived with this mess for years. Way longer than I should have, so it's probably my fault for not just demo'ing the whole shower and starting over--which I recently did, using a professional company with a lifetime warranty. I called Chuck up recently to let him know that I was still dealing with his mess a THIRD time after 10 years. I just wanted him to know that his work was sub-par. He almost came by to look at it, but I think he realized he would be held responsible. Or maybe he was too embarrassed to see what his company did. He said he'd call me back. Never called back. He stopped responding to text messages. Again, probably for the best. I don't think I needed to see him again. My advice to you: Do NOT use Chuck Caudill for anything related to tile, flooring, or your house. He'll show up in a fancy car and hat, get the job, overcharge you, skimp on the materials, and you'll be stuck with a GIANT MESS within a couple years.
