I needed specific tires for my Electric Vehicle. I went in at 7:30 in the morning and told Minas what I was looking for. He gave me a quote for tires, mounted and balanced for a total price. I had researched online for the tires I wanted, and he beat the online price. He told me he didn't have the tires in stock which didn't surprise me, as EV tires are specialized. He said if he put the order in he could possibly have them by 3-4 that afternoon. He called me when the tires showed up and 44 minutes later I had my new tires on my vehicle. I've used this shop many times over the past 30 years, usually out of necessity. The staff and owner have always been somewhat rude and dismissive, but it has gotten so much worse. My advice is you try the Tire Store in San Luis Obispo. Their service and attitude are excellent and they are quick. I was on my way down from Monterey Bay and my Low Tire Pressure alert started going off. I saw the high ratings for Hinsons and knew I had to go. Auto and Tire shops sometimes intimidate me, as a woman, but everyone I had an interaction with was great and helpful! Went in for a low tire and they fixed it plus a free rotation, all done in less than 20 min. The mechanic even took the time to properly torque the lug nuts to the right spec., which is a nice touch that I'm not used to. I usually have to do that myself. Highly recommend, will go back there for all tire needs plus oil changes. read more

So I looked online and discovered that the Yokohama Geolanders were getting great reviews from other Highlander owners.
