I needed specific tires for my Electric Vehicle. I went in at 7:30 in the morning and told Minas what I was looking for. He gave me a quote for tires, mounted and balanced for a total price. I had researched online for the tires I wanted, and he beat the online price. He told me he didn't have the tires in stock which didn't surprise me, as EV tires are specialized. He said if he put the order in he could possibly have them by 3-4 that afternoon. He called me when the tires showed up and 44 minutes later I had my new tires on my vehicle. I've used this shop many times over the past 30 years, usually out of necessity. The staff and owner have always been somewhat rude and dismissive, but it has gotten so much worse. My advice is you try the Tire Store in San Luis Obispo. Their service and attitude are excellent and they are quick. My old Highlander needed it's 4th set of tires and I wanted good quality and super safe driving all-weather skins for it. So I looked online and discovered that the Yokohama Geolanders were getting great reviews from other Highlander owners. I tried Tire Rack.com but it's just too much hassle for me so I decided to try the local spot I've driven past so many times. Hinsons Tire Pros were only $60 more than tirerack and they responded right away to my online price quote request so I gave them the job. They installed the new tires while I waited, did a great job on the alignment and wheel balance, and could not be more helpful, courteous and friendly. The mechanic even took the time to properly torque the lug nuts to the right spec., which is a nice touch that I'm not used to. I usually have to do that myself.
