I wouldn't recommend joining this eos gym at all it is a big scam. When you first enter the gym to sign up for a regular lux membership, they try to talk you into getting the PT membership and if you say no they are still going to try to pressure you into it they will NOT take NO for a answer and then say things like if you are spending your money on this than you should have enough for pt and the little smart comments are uncaused for, I get you are trying to sell and make money but its a bad sales strategy they are using. Also they will try to throw pt deal to make it sound good and once you say yes it's the biggest regret of your life. The things they told me in beginning about the pt membership is a complete LIE. The pt fitness manager kim told me i would be able to cancel at any time if it becomes too much which was a lie , never stated that they will charge you for a extra month if u don't cancel within 30 days and when you try to call the front desk to speak to someone abt the membership cancellation before the 30 days come so u can avoid the fee all they do is take your name and number down and say they will have some one contact you which no one NEVER does. I have been the HARDEST time trying to cancel the pt membership and regular lux gym membership and at the end of all the cancellation I have been charged $400 and I don't even want the membership at all. The customer service is very unacceptable and the sales tactics are terrible and a big lie , I wouldn't recommend signing up for the PT program at all , all they would have to do is tell the truth about the program and let people know how much they are being charged in the end but instead they lie to u and give you the run around and charge you $400 just to cancel. I went to this location for the first time ever , and was really interested in signing up but first wanted to trial run it before I made my final decision. Parking is decent for the location and I had no issue , walked in and the atmosphere is simply great , as I get to the counter this is where it gets interesting. The greetings were nice and I had no issue speaking with the employees . But , then I sat an spoke to James ( the manager of this location ), as I stated I'd like to claim my 7 days free trial to get the full experience of the gym before I make my final decision . So I sit with him and he stated word or word , " ahh I can't do 7 days because corporate won't let me do that but I'll give you 4 days" as if he was doing me a favor . To be honest it was an insult to me , and my money I was getting ready to spend there . What's the point on 7 day free trial if you don't HONOR your own advertising. So with that being said , it set the tone on how honesty , and respect was going to be dealing with this gym . As much as I dislike the Allen Parkway location, I love this location. This is the old location of Fit Athletics. EOS did a number with the renovation. They have made the space open, bigger, well lit, air conditioned like a meat locker, and full of the best equipment out there. It's as if they read our reviews and addressed each of the concerns we had with Allen Parkway. There is a good number of squat racks, four leg presses, at least one hack squat. 3-5 multi function hip exercise machines. 3 leg extensions, 3 leg curls. If you want to do legs, this is the place. The free weights section is well laid out, there are more dumbbells than you will know what to do with. Literally a chain 4 universal cable machine combo units daisy chained together in the middle of the room giving you 20-30 or more cable stations... the back exercise equipment is fantastic. They have mixed Arsenal brand equipment in to mix with techno gym and cybex and life fitness. So they didn't try to get a deal with one brand of equipment, they just got the best they could find from each brand. There is a multi function training area that's sizable. Cardio section looks good. Premium services include therapy room access, free towels. The changing rooms are clean and well kept, well lit. Sauna on site. Free towel with some membership. The gym gets crowded but the space digests the crowd a lot better than Allen Parkway. Parking is limited but better than Allen Parkway. If I had to complain I would still complain about how crowded it can be. But walk into the fanciest Lifetime it is still a madhouse during rush hours. Hours are great. 24hr! EOS is learning, adapting and getting better. I am impressed. They need a belt squat. Perhaps a seated calf raise machine and maybe incline chest press station with plates. read more

Beautiful gym. SADLY, All of their locations NEED to put a sign outside the Saunas telling people Not to listen to their phones out Loud without earbuds. It's rude, and just kills the relaxing vibe in general. They do have a sign outside the saunas in the bathrooms with "Sauna etiquette" that most people just walk past and ignore because it also says don't come in with street/gym shoes and they do. One more thing about most if not All of their locations..their Plumbing seems to be very Weak as the Majority of toilets are Always left unflushed, but I think people are actually flushing them as it has happened to me where I press flush and the paper stays. Anyway, if your bathrooms are dirty people aren't going to take care of your gym. Hope this actually Helps. read more

Went in to cancel my membership and was told I had to do it through the website. One of the employees took my phone, tapped around, then handed it back and said, "Just submit this payment and you're all set -- your membership will be cancelled." I only got an email confirming the charge -- nothing about a cancellation. I called EOS corporate and they told me there was no cancellation on file, just the charge from that day. Luckily they were able to cancel it for me and said they'd apply the charge toward the 30-day notice period. If I hadn't followed up, I probably would've kept getting billed. It's brand new and they have a lot of machines, staff is very nice and helpful. The view from the cardio machines is to the Houston skyline which is a very nice plus. Changing rooms are spacious and most of the time clean. Only thing is their water fountain is warm It's not refreshing at all which kind of downgrades my workout experience. read more

The Gym itself is pretty good and so is the staff, but their cancellation system is terrible. I ended my subscription in December and was charged $150 recently, when I called to tell them to dispute thus, I was told that when I cancelled my subscription they might've drafted my final payments, which the membership agreement says they may charge, but that I'm required to receive a 30 notice of any payments I'm expected to make. But when I tried explaining to the representative that I received an email after my final payment in December, that said my membership had successfully been canceled, that my remaining balance due was payed in full, and that nobody ever tried reaching out to notify me, much less give me the 30 day notice that I'm required to receive per the agreement, and that they only took the money out of my account, she ignored me and anything I had to say, and kept repeating to me over and over that I "received" a notice when I had already explained to her multiple times that they failed to give me one. So now I'm out $150 with another $150 charge she told me I was gonna receive after this one. I'm currently disputing this charge with my bank and will not be allowing them to make any other charges, because I will not be making any payments to them just because they failed to follow their own agreement procedures. read more

I would just warn potential new members that they can be SUPER pushy when it comes to purchasing personal training. *skip this last part if u don't want a story* I did the free training session & afterwards, I spoke with the personal training manager because I just wanted to get a feel for the pricing and what is offered but I also had class soon so I was assured that it wouldn't be long. I ended up being there about 35mins, I tried to leave about 4 times & she kept pressing me. I said I wanted to go home & think about it but she pushed. I then said I wanted to look at my budget first but she kept pushing. Then I gave in bc she said I had 3 days to cancel & my card DECLINED but she still pushed. I found out that i would get charged $60 or $80 that would be unrefundable even if I cancel which made me uncomfortable but she still pushed me to use a different card & brought me to a different card machine because the one we were using stopped working. Finally, I was able to set a boundary & leave bc I actually was going to miss my class but that was truly an anxious person's worst nightmare. It's a great gym that is too convenient for me to stop going but learn from my mistakes & say a hard NO if you get put in an uncomfortable situation or avoid the free training session altogether. I've been a gym goer since the end 2020 & have tried out a good amount of gyms over the years due to moving around but I had never experienced something like this before. read more

EōS corporate will cancel you membership through insurance about every two months. You then have to go through the process of re-enrolling and have to listen to the sales pitch all over again. I think it's a way for them to try and up sale you every few months. Also this location has had multiple car break ins even with security guards in the lot. I wish I could give zero stars, my friends and I decided to try EOS since my gym closed. I was very excited to try out this place but was met with a rude sassy representative who goes by James. As soon as I walked in I was met with a blank stare and a reluctance to help new potential members. He took a long time trying to check in our guest passes and as soon as we started working out he gave us a hard time. James waited until the middle of our work out to scream across the gym that we were no longer allowed to work out here the next time we come unless we have a membership. The whole gym heard it. It was as if he wanted to publicly humiliate my friends and I. I have never experienced public humiliation like this. I honestly would never go back if James is there, it just reflects poorly on the gym and all of its employees and nobody starting their fitness journey deserves to be treated like that. read more

I'm an EOS member from out of state but visit Texas often. I went to this location several times with no issue then I was flagged. I guess I am not allowed to visit other gyms unless I upgrade my membership. okay, I get it, but I was given a hard sell by a rep who spoke so low and fast I could barely understand him. I finally told him I do not see the benefit of spending over $21 a month more just to work out in Texas a few times a year. He got visible annoyed and told me "well, there is no way I can allow you to work out here then!" He could have offered to sell me a day pass which I would have paid or politely tell me policy will not allow me to enter. He obviously took my refusal to upgrade personally which leads me to think he was on commission and desperate. Very unprofessional. At this point I told him I'm not interested and walked out. The friendly staff is willing and competent to help you achieve your fitness goals. While you're on your treadmill, rowing machine, or Stairmaster, you can see an amazing view of the Houston skyline.
