The documentation they provided actually lists the fee as $15, yet they still charged the higher "updated" amount without any notice or consent. I had multiple interactions with the office (calls, in-person, and email), and at no point did their medical assistant, Casey, or anyone else mention a cost or price increase. Patients should not be expected to pay fees that were never disclosed or agreed to. This experience wasn't about the money--it's about transparency, communication, and quality of care. Unfortunately, this practice fell short on all three. I hope they take steps to improve both their patient communication and overall experience.
