I have been using this practice since my first child was born in 2005. Front desk staff, nurse partitioners and doctors are all wonderful. It is easy to get appointments, and they answer all my questions regarding my children's health. They have been by my side as my kids have grown up, seeing them through a lot of challenges kids have. I really appreciate that they don't push medication to fix issues but spend the time to find the cause and always suggest alternative treatments (*lifestyle changes, natural remedies) before suggesting prescription medication. read more

Complete care has alway been there for my families. Dr Martin has cared for my children and now is caring for my grandchildren. My oldest is 33 and my youngest is 16. This is how long we've been with Dr Martin. Now my granddaughter is attending here. The staff are always nice and pleasant with a smile. As for Dr Martin there aren't any words to describe for her. **UPDATE - They blocked my number from calling them. I tried calling from my personal phone to ask for medical records so we can switch providers, and the line rang busy every time. When I tried calling from my Husband's phone, the call went right through. The receptionist pretended she had no idea what was happening. This is fantastically hilarious. ** My daughter isn't even 11 months, and this is the second Pediatrician we've been to. After my experience a couple days ago, we're going to have to find a third one. I picked my Daughter up from Daycare on Thursday, and was informed she - and two other untested girls - were showing cold symptoms. Runny noses, my daughter was coughing, so I called the clinic looking for a sick appointment/covid test. My daughter has asthma - which is another issue I'll speak on - and one of the doctors at this practice said if I ever wanted her lungs listened to, then I can bring her in. I informed the receptionist of this, and she was resistant to let me come in. She insisted on a virtual appointment, which I declined, and I insisted on being allowed to bring my child in. How are you going to swab her, and listen to her lungs to make sure she's not congested over the phone?? Regarding her asthma, this practice was useless in her diagnosis. She was coughing for MONTHS, and after multiple visits to these people, I kept getting the same answer. Reflux. Reflux. Reflux. Finally I was able to take her to Children's National, and guess what? My poor baby had untreated asthma for MONTHS because these people couldn't figure out that asthma causes coughing. I knew it wasn't reflux, and I kept voicing my concerns, but the doctors continually dismissed me and spoke to me as if I were making her symptoms up. Toward one of her final visits, I guess the Doctor lost patience with me and told me "I don't know what else to tell you, but maybe you'll believe a specialist." Yikes. I understand the concept of Televisits, especially during Covid. However, in a literal INFANT with pre-existing breathing issues, I feel like they should have been more accommodating and understanding of my desire to make sure my child's lungs are functioning. I guess that's just too much to ask. After the receptionist fought with me about the Televisit, I told her that I'll just take my daughter elsewhere, to someone who actually wants to help. The girl responded with "Okay." Unprofessional, and heartless. You shouldn't be working with children if you have no sympathy, or sense of compassion for sick children. I'm going to be getting copies of my records, and taking my daughter elsewhere to a doctor who actually listens to my concerns, and doesn't dismiss me/my baby's needs. Dr Schreiber has cared for my 2.5 yo since birth. She's very thorough (for example, on follow up appointments after sickness she always asks lots of questions and follows it up with a physical on the baby to make sure the infection is gone!). She offered lots of support when I was a new mom. Very important for FTM! We moved to rockville but still go back (thankfully not that often). We also like Dr. Martin! Dr Malkovich is great as a doctor but I am not onboard with her bedside manner (she's still a great doc though). Office staff has always been lovely. No billing or schedule issues ever. We've been taking our daughter here since she was born, and we've been so happy to have found such a great team of pediatricians. The office staff has been remarkably helpful in getting us in for appointments whenever necessary (including same day on multiple occasions) and getting any answers to questions we have as new parents. We usually see Dr. Schreiber, who we can't praise highly enough. She is amazing, though we've had appointments with Drs. Malkovich and Martin as well and were quite happy. Their billing practices are atrocious and whoever they're using will not answer the phone or correct any mistakes. Imagine being a brand new mom with a newborn and you put that newborn on your insurance immediately. You go for six visits. Your insurance company pays them. Nothing is wrong and then a year later, they just decide you owe them $1400 for the first six visits. You call your insurance company and the insurance company sends you documentation that you don't owe them. You ask the insurance company to please get on a three way call with their billing department to sort this out. THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE. You try four more times. They don't answer the phone. They then decide to send some shady collections agency. You call the insurance company one more time and you still don't owe them and even they're annoyed with the billing. I have so much more things to do. It just feel predatory to first not inform the patients that their bill is wrong from the outset or that there's a problem. They'll wait a year so that finding the documentation is nightmare. And then they won't answer the phone of a major insurance company. read more

I would give them 5 stars because the doctors are great, but lord forbid if you forget or miss a bill because the insurance was billed wrong or they didn't get the bill in time to cover it. The collections agency this company uses has many many negative reviews not only from the people they are collecting from but the companies that hire them! They just called me during a pandemic and told me that I need to break mandated quarantine protocols with a severely compromised immune system (meaning I would die if I contacted covid-19) to get a money order and pay them "or else, even though I already paid some towards the bill and explained I w aged to settle once I got my refund. Mind you the bill is 200 (left of 260) bucks for a visit where they just referred him to another doctor so yea that's another reason to avoid them, 260 for a referral. Since they only have the one billing department, they're just not worth it, there's several other Peditricians that have more responsible billing departments that don't sic corrupt collection agencies on you that think they're the mafia. I have taken my daughter here from the day she was born. I absolutely loved complete care for kids until something happened to my daughter. I noticed back in Jan 2016 something wasn't right my daughter had a unexplained rash that wouldn't go away. I took my child in for this rash for months I kept telling them something wasn't right. It took them 9 months to finally take me seriously the doctor finally ordered labs and soon as the lab results came back that's when the doctors took the matter seriously they told me to make an appointment to Hematology as soon as possible. I was so through but decided to give them another chance which I should of gone with my gut and changed doctors from the first incident. Fast forward I took my daughter in because I believed she had uti when I took her in I was questioned about why do I feel my child has a uti I explained why they examined her and told me they don't think anything is wrong. I told them I know something isn't right my child wouldn't be screaming when she is trying to go to the bathroom. They sent me home with a bag and told me to collect a sample and bring it back. Not once after that visit did they call to check and see if my child was ok....my child ended up in the ER for a bladder infection After that I was done The doctors seem nice however they do not hear your concerns as a parent. They screwed up the claim to my insurance when i only went back for a vaccine for my daughter. they billed as an office visit, and i have tried numerous times to get it corrected, they wont. Now some collection agency is calling me, this guy named Tony, who identified himself as an attorney, gives me all the details of the visit, gives me the DOS, doesnt ask me for my name, or my childs DOB, or any HIPPA personal identifiers, saying if I don't pay it, im gonna get sued and they're going to take me to court, and tells me he knows where i work, telling me if i want to prevent that i need to pay now. My copay was $25 and now he's saying i owe $365 and even proceeds to tell me, my insurance only paid $50 and i owe the rest. I ask for an itemized bill he declines, i tell him how he just violated HIPPA giving me all the info i asked for without even asking who i am. He says hes an attorney and he knows the law not me. little does he know 1. I used to do bad debt hospital collections, 2. i do billing. He then texts my cellphone and tells me ill get my day in court and good luck because he's going to sue me for more. What??? what type of practice is this??? It's your mistake; you refuse to fix it and on top of that you hire some clown to collect money impersonating himself as a lawyer but send me a text saying hes sending the account to the attorneys office with his signature saying Tony-Debt Collector from credit recovery. Dont even bother with this practice. They dont know how to bill and commit insurance fraud. I saw a medical assistant for a vaccine and they billed for an actual visit with a doctor. it was a mistake to go there, i only went because my old doctor retired. read more

My son has been going to Complete care for Kids and I have to say I LOVE Dr. Malcovich, we like Dr. Hemm and I'm not a fan of Dr. Martin. I've not had trouble getting an appointment, office is clean, never a long wait, granted all my visits have been well visits (knock on wood that this continues). But we started with Dr. Makovich and have loved her, straight shooter, not an alarmist answers our questions openly and honestly. So sad we have to find a new pediatrician since we've moved. read more

Their billing department is a disaster, stay away from this practice unless you want a bill because Vicky screws up and doesn't bill your insurance and then claims she can't find the insurance bill she never sent out, then they sick their gangster collection agency on you. My son LOVES going here, we always go to to Dr. Schreiber, she is great, never rushes appointments, and ALWAYS asks if we have questions. Her and all the nurses are so kind and welcoming. Office is always clean, yeah its hard to get a same day or next day appointment... but isn't that a good sign? Its bee n good so far but make sure that you allow A PLENTY of time for any forms to be filled up. They say a week but mine wasn't ready even after 10 days..had to call them everyday to get it done inspite of paying fees and had to wait in their office as a last resort to get it signed..!!and if you are lucky you might get same day appointmemnt.. read more
