This is a family-owned business, and May was our main point of contact throughout the project. At first, her communication style may come across as direct or a bit blunt, especially since English isn't either of our first languages. However, once you get to know her, you'll quickly realize she's incredibly kind, knowledgeable, generous, and genuinely wants what's best for her customers. She has a very caring heart. Her husband also came by to help lead parts of the project, and having both of them in our home was genuinely reassuring. They made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the renovation. The crew was extremely considerate of our home. They carefully covered all of our furniture, protected the floors with coverings and towels, and kept everything as clean as possible during construction. On top of that, they were impressively efficient and highly skilled. They completed our entire kitchen renovation in less than a week. Communication was another highlight. We also had our baseboards done here, and we are so happy with the results. If we had known they did vinyl flooring, we would have done that with M&M too. I highly recommend them. I was frustrated at one point, but it turned out to be my own fault: Rather than calling or dropping by the store, I was sending emails and getting no replies. I later found out that the emails were going to employees that were no longer there. The staff is friendly, and if you drop by the store, the owner will personally greet you and make sure you are happy.

My parents went around all day looking and trying to find the best deal for a long lasting fridge. When we go to the store, it was nice and had very impressive selection of fridge. I tagged along as a translator for my parents and when I approached the information booth, one of the salesmen referred us to another man that was sitting in the front. While he greeted us with warmth, he came off very condescending. He was very snappy and aggressively with his response. While having an airpod in his ear, he was rushing us through all the selection. It almost felt like he didn't want to work with us (since he was told by another man to help us) and judging that my parents didn't know anything. As we were walking away, we weren't surprised to see him playing on his phone.

Let me add that we previously had the other 3 balconies done in 2022. These other 3 we took the lead on organizing the different contractors for the different work (i.e., demo, structure, electrical, plumbing, railings, flooring, stucco etc). The goal this time was not to be involved and have Rocha take point. Initially, it felt like we had made a good choice, but then we had a pause in having work done. Upon checking in we learned Gilbert was in the hospital. His wife Marie assisted with getting work moving forward. Gilbert was not seen for about 6 weeks. And during this time we had many days when no work was done. Once Gilbert was back he was not the same. We had to spend many hours tracking work and what needed to be done to keep the project moving, along with the bookkeeping, when he asked for a large amount over what was owed. The project took longer than initially projected, which we were ok with to get a good end product. Once the balconies were finished, final payment made, we asked for warranty information, Gilbert Rocha said he would forward. Warranty information was never received after multiple emails requesting. Not even 6 months later our railings are rusting at the welding joints. Gilbert Rocha's emails bounce back and the numbers are not in service. He may be out of business, but we still deserve to have a warranty to have the safety of railings corrected.

He is the project manager who stepped in for various tasks. Everything Héctor did was done with precision and care. He and Gilbert made sure each team of workers left the area clean and made sure I was happy with the work. I made payments as the job progressed and knew exactly what I was paying for. The job ended within the time frame Gilbert had estimated, even with the extra work I asked for. Gilbert Rocha is a man of his word. I love my bathrooms!
