Located on the river in "Restaurant Row" in Indiana, this was recommended to us by several people for the wings and salad! We were greeted right upon entering and it is open seating. The restaurant is open air, so there were some flying "friends" hanging out, but it wasn't too bad. We got salad, a drink, and wings. Everything was delicious! Our waitress was awesome and we really enjoyed it. Definitely try this one, friends! You won't be disappointed.

Follow review; haven't been to this location for a while. Got to sit outside on the deck. Scenic view of Ohio River and Louisville sky line. Staff was great; always checking on us and not overly bothersome, just right. They provided daily specials without having to ask. We had wings, very good!

Buffalo chicken egg rolls- very large appetizer!

Quick and friendly staff to greet you when you walk in thru the patio. Clean and open concept when the patio is open allows for the breeze and to carey some Of the crowds noise outside. Buffalo egg rolls- very large appetizer( can be a meal)- filling is just that, traditional buffalo chicken, great hot sauce flavor and cripsy on the outside. Ohilly cheesesteak- mest to cheese ratio perfect, bread was toasted to allow the cheese to melt for a perfect pull. Santa fe chicken wrap- veggies are cold which brings out the salaa textiure, chicken is grilled with little char to enhance the seasoning- Taste of freah taco seasoning with a hint of crushed pepper Servers were friendly and quick to refill drinks!

we walked the Big Four Bridge, walked along the riverfront in Jeffersonville and ended up at Harry's for an appetizer. Neither of us were thrilled with the appetizer offerings but decided on an order of French Fries and the Honey Brussel Sprouts. Both were excellent. A huge basket of fries (we could not eat them all) served piping hot We opted for the no seasoning option. The sprouts were also served piping hot, the honey glaze was sweet and they too were cooked to perfection. Parking lot and on street parking, great views of the river and our server was super sweet and efficient and prices were reasonable. We will go again. Nothing fancy, but worth the visit.

We had just gotten into town and were looking for a place to eat and we were so glad we found this place! The portions were huge, the flavors were great, and the service was top notch. A band was setting up as we were leaving, so it looks like a fun place to go at night for a drink and some music. Our favorite bites were the quesadilla, Brussels sprouts, and the Philly cheese. Great place for groups- lots of seating!

I'll be glad when the Spicy Margarita is back on the menu. Not all the bartenders know how to make it. One of the reasons I come to this bar for it. Didn't care for the service of the two young ladies behind the bar ~ 4:20 pm on a Wednesday thankfully a young man Jason made my drink and was nice enough to make my drink in the glass that I preferred. Steve Duncan was the manager and he was nice but I didn't address it. I guess because she was new. Ambiance chill.

Harry's Tap House in Jeffersonville is a fantastic spot to unwind after a walk across the Big Four Bridge. The open-air patio is perfect for soaking in fresh river breezes and great views of the Ohio River and the riverfront concert venue right across the street. Service was quick and attentive, which made the visit even better. I grabbed some buffalo chicken eggrolls -- okay but thin I'd prefer it as just a dip. The eggroll form just didn't quite hit the mark. Still, this place is awesome for catching the Louisville skyline, and I'm sure would be great for Thunder Over Louisville fireworks, or the Great Boat Race.

Went back to Harry's for their Happy Hour and the service was so much better this time! Our server was so nice and seemed happy to be there. We got the $2.50 cans of domestic beers and got the Buffalo Chicken Rolls and the Pretzel with beer cheese appetizers. Both were really good! One of the best beer cheeses I've had. They have a very nice patio and more seating in the back. Fun place!

The service was fast. There is a decent view of the river from one side of the bar. The food was decent. It needed a little more salt or something but the drinks were great!

Holy sh** the wings are top notch! Cool vibe, Chicago feel. Love this place!

Wings are top notch, right on the river, bet it's even better in the summer. Highly recommend!

You can't make a Resy, so our friends went early and grabbed two tables for our party of 7. It was packed and loud! but our service was quick and the food/drinks were excellent. I like that you can order from either menu (Harry's or Malones). Next time, I think we'll make a resy at Malones where it might be quieter.

Food was amazing! I can't recommend the firecracker shrimp enough, and it's a large portion. I have yet to dig into the bluegrass chicken sandwich but it comes with bacon, bbq, and the garden. I don't like ranch, but I love their homemade ranch. Open kitchen makes for a great ambiance, and the service is perfection.

There was a sink in my stall, and beautiful shadowbox artwork above the toilet. The hosts were very helpful navigating the place. They gave us an option to drink at the main floor bar, which seemed classy and had a stage for live music, or to go downstairs, which they said had more of a sport bar vibe. We chose the main floor bar because there were less people and we were helped right away. We got a couple drinks each and all were pretty good- no watered down drinks here! My favorite was the espresso martini. We also opted for the Doritos nachos which were pretty filling for an appetizer! The menu states it's for 3-4 people, but it was a good serving for just the two of us. It had Doritos, cheese, pickled onions, lime, jalapeños, and a mixture of beans and it was delicious. We overall spent about $70.

There's just something about Against the Grain that takes me back to my first years in Louisville…read more It embodies that weird, wonderful Louisville spirit. It's creative with a sense of joy, irreverent, one of a kind. And I'm happy to see it last in its spot next to Slugger Field. I got to visit recently when a bunch of friends were in town. We ended up visiting during trivia night, which added a fun twist to the experience. Our team, The Electric Sheep, got second place! And along with the fun vibes, we had great food and beer. I got The Smokehouse OG, which is its pulled pork sandwich served on a Cuban roll. If you like pulled pork, you'll like this sandwich, though typical to their fashion, AtG puts a twist on it with its Brown Note BBQ Sauce. We had to get the pork belly on a stick -- a menu fave. And for my beer, I tried the El Nopal Mexican lager (cracked up at the name) and Cold Ass Beer red ale. AtG is a Louisville original that's not to be overlooked.

We dropped in on Oaks night and even though it was pretty busy we were able to grab two seats at the bar. The only downfall of this was the time of day and the position of the Sun blaring through the garage door windows blasting me in the face however that cannot be helped or avoided, just a heads up for anyone who is super sensitive to the sun and arrives around sunset. I started with a Sunset Spritz and looked over the menu, there are so many great options to choose from and I was really torn on what to get but decided on the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich (you can also get grilled or fried, but the bartender recommended blackened) and an order of sweet potato fries. The fries come with a side of a smoky pineapple chutney of some sort and even though I'm not a huge fan of anything that's really smoky it was absolutely delicious and a great combo. Seriously 10/10 recommend. The sandwich was also fire! I am extremely picky about sea food, especially since I used to live near the cost so it was always fresh and it definitely did not disappoint. I was so full when we left lol My husband got the beef sliders as his entrée with a side of regular fries tossed in roasted garlic pepper. I tried them and they were just OK. The sweet potato fries are definitely where it's at! I am really looking forward to going back and trying out some new items like the Cheeseburger Hand pies, Chicken tenders or one of their boozy milkshakes ... it sounds delicious doesn't it!

It feels like you're eating in a place that actually has stories to tell rather than another cookie-cutter restaurant. The food was good overall. The wings were excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. I tried the lime sauce, which was good, though it tasted much more like a ranch-based sauce than I expected. My burger was cooked well, flavorful, and delicious... though I was disappointed to not see the caramelizes onions promised on the menu on it. Instead there was a sad looking single piece of raw onion. Oh well. The sandwich on rye was just okay--not bad, but it didn't stand out. Fries were good and perfectly seasoned. Service was friendly and attentive, although things moved a little slower than expected during our visit. Now for the bathroom area... let's just say the journey to get there felt like the opening scene of a horror movie where someone says, "I'll be right back." It definitely adds to the pub's quirky charm, but I do wish that area--and the restaurant in general--were a bit cleaner. Overall, Troll Pub is worth a visit for the atmosphere, history, and great wings. Come for the unique experience, stay for the burger, and maybe bring a flashlight for the bathroom adventure.
