Had a great experience here! This restaurant had been on my hit list for a while. I was finally in…read morethe area and made the excellent decision of stopping in for lunch. There are so many great looking options on the menu that I couldn't choose just one. I got the Reuben sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich, thinking I'll eat half of each for lunch, and then the other half for dinner (is that how it actually went down? I'll never tell). Both of these were fantastic options for lunch. The Reuben was everything I wanted it to be, and the chicken salad had little differentiating touches that were thoughtful and made the sandwich better. The sides were great too! The locale is very sports bar-y, but expansive. The staff is so sweet and wonderful and took great care of me. Can't wait to be back!

We were seated immediately. The staff working were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. They had TV's all over the walls so it would be the perfect spot to watch a game with friends. The food reminded me of Roosters. It's more towards bar food but we enjoyed it. I got the wedge salad and the southwest egg rolls. I ended up ordering way too much food. The portions were pretty big so I had plenty of leftovers. If you can only get one thing, get the egg rolls! They're similar to the ones at Chili's but better. They had a slight kick to them. I also like how you can see every ingredient in them because sometimes at other places it looks like the filling was blended. You can also see the seasonings they used so you know it has flavor

They told me to call again a couple of hours before arriving, which I did. I was on hold for about 15 minutes, and they let me know our 7:00 p.m. request wouldn't work due to another large party, but they offered 7:15 or 7:30. I chose 7:15 and arrived around 7:18. My group didn't fully arrive until about 7:45, so I was worried our tables might not be held. They'd told me on the phone that they don't have tables bigger than eight, so we'd be seated at back-to-back tables. In the end, it worked out really well. Sixteen people showed up, and once everyone was there, I texted "here" as instructed. We were seated within five minutes, which was impressive given how late people were. We had two servers for the group, but everything ran smoothly. I ordered chicken tenders with fire tots and mac & cheese--all tasted fresh. The fire tots weren't as spicy as I expected, but still good. Their $5 margaritas are a steal--flavorful, though not heavy on the alcohol. I also tried my cousin's hot wings, which were spicy but had a unique flavor--less vinegary than standard buffalo wings, and I loved that. Overall, Bubba's 33 feels like an upscale Applebee's--inviting, accommodating, and just really good. I'd only ever gotten takeout before, but dining in was such a positive experience. The staff even brought out a free dessert for my aunt's birthday, which was a great touch. I'll definitely be back!

Upon entry of their recently expanded parking lot, you'll notice that you'll almost always be parking in the very back row due to this Texas Roadhouse being one of the most unusually crowded locations I've ever seen. Which is all due to the fact that this is one of the few and most popular steakhouses in the area. For locals who want to do it up big on a Friday evening, but don't quite want to break the bank or go farther to Louisville, this is the place to go. Due to this being THE steakhouse in the area, if you're stopping in on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you should definitely call ahead because wait times can be in excess of 2-3 hours. And if you have a large party, you should always call ahead regardless of what day of the week it is. If you'll be stopping in with a pickup truck and trailer, parking will be a struggle. Unless you catch one of the nearby hotel parking lots vacant enough for you to park in. In the case that you DO have a trailer, happen to be headed south on I-65 and aren't starving to death, I would highly recommend driving the extra hour and a half to the bowling green Texas Roadhouse. Parking is much more trailer-friendly there. As far as the service goes, I have to say that you'll always have a friendly server. The only issue I have noticed is that the servers seem to have too large of a work load, and sometimes don't get you refills in a timely manner. Which for some, is a major issue. My policy has always been to base the server's tip off whether or not my table runs out of drinks. As long as no one runs out of something to drink for very long, I'll always tip good. As far as the food goes at this location, it's pretty hit or miss and seems to be heavily dependent on who's cooking. Which is extremely random and something you have no control over. Therefore, dining here can be risky. And with the high prices of filets, it can be very aggravating to wait in line and pay the high price for a mediocre steak. All in all, it's pretty good when it's good, but annoying when you get a cold, undercooked steak or an overcooked and burnt one. If you're on I-65 headed south, and aren't starving to death, I would drive the hour and a half to the bowling green location. Definitely less crowded, better parking (especially with a trailer) and way better food!

We met Carli the first day she had finished training and was such a sweet person. She is very quick to go from our booth and back with our drinks and she always gives us just the right amount of time to decide what we want to order. She always takes such good care of us. We very often order the same thing each week, The Monday night Sirloins are our favorites and I always get the sweet potato casserole without Marshmallows and usually I order the Ceasar salad and share it with my husband. That leaves him a chance to order 2 sides. Most of the servers have memorized what we always order. We love Aspen Creek and are here almost every Monday. Sitting over on the right side of the restaurant is the quietest side to sit on. Over on the left side of the restaurant where the bar is, it is very often a bit loud but not so loud that you can't talk to your friends. Every staff person there is such a joy. Karly the Manager is about the best Manager I've ever met at any restaurant. Her staff loves her!
