I have been to this location several times. I have repaired an iPhone 5s and also an iPhone 3Gs. Sam was very helpful. I took the iPhone 3Gs to several other locations that were closer but no one could fix it due to the age of the phone. I know there are some bad reviews in prior postings. But if you are not happy with the work, I am sure that Sam and his crew will listen to your needs and apply a fix. You can also save the time and effort of trying to get into the Apple Store at Southlake. I live in Irving but I think the drive to HiTech Wireless is worth it. I will come back again. read more

So, first time I've ever shattered a screen on my phone. Found this place which is really close to me which is great. Went in on a lunch break and they fixed my screen within about 45 min. Everything appeared fine. I was charged $115. About 3 days later I dropped my phone again but on carpet while I was sitting. The entire screen became dim and there were colored lines on the screen. I went back to the location and advised them of the issue. At that time they stated they would not charge me for another repair but I needed to come back another day. I returned the following Sunday and dropped my phone off for repair. I returned 3 hours later since they never called to let me know the phone was ready. When I arrived, I was told that the repair made originally was made with faulty parts however they still chose to charge me for their labor for the repair- $35. It has been 2 weeks since my visit and the glass is peeling away. It's been like this for at least a week. I would not recommend any phone repairs by this business. First time ever that I broke my screen. I saw some great reviews for some spots in Harry Hines but weren't open on Sunday. Someone recommended me this spot which was closer to me and Open so the impatient person that i am decided to give this place a try. The person who referred me told me they got their iPhone 5 fixed for $75 but the iPhone 6 would be closer to $100. When I got here I was told it would be $149. I was already there so decided to go ahead and get it fixed. They closed at 5pm and I got there about 4:30pm and told me I could come pick it up at 6:30pm. Overall my phone works now perfectly so I am happy with that but after doing more research I could have got this fixed even cheaper at Apple. So for the price itself I wouldn't recommend this place but if you want something done asap and have the money you will get your phone fixed properly here! This is an update: So my screen is definitely not perfect. I already have dead pixels on my screen. I live in NJ though so I will definitely need to make a trip back to them to see if they can do something about it but until then it'll just annoy me!! read more

I can't stress this enough this business is a scam and they are not qualified what so ever to repair smartphones. I recently took my IPhone 10r to be fixed here after I dropped it and the entire back glass shattered. I have Apple Care and could have sent it in to be repaired, however, I thought that going to this business would be convenient given how close it is to where I live and my father had done some business with them in the past. So, I thought I could trust them with the repair and that was my biggest mistake. After dropping my phone off for them to repair it took about 3-5 hours to fix and then I came to pick it up with my father. The guy we dealt with was Sam and right away when he handed me my IPhone I knew something was wrong because the edges around my ENTIRE phone were peeled/scratched off by whatever tool they used to take off the shattered back. When I brought this to his attention he said "I am not Apple" I was clearly concerned and not a satisfied customer but he did not care. I questioned whether Apple would accept my IPhone now if/when I decided to get a new one and trade in the old one. Sam said "they will take it and if they don't come back to me" that didn't sound promising to me at all. Before paying him for this disservice I wanted to make sure my phone could do the basic functions at least like faceID, pictures, videos, sound etc. everything seemed to check out besides the appearance. The following days I came to find out that my microphone was damaged because when I used facetime the recipient could not hear me this happened as well on phone calls when I tried to use my speaker. My father returned to the store with my phone and brought this to Sam's attention and he said "I can fix the damage or give you a new phone" neither of these were options because he lost our trust and no one in their right mind would have the business that damaged their phone then "fix"it that would probably only result in further damage and a new phone was not an option given that it is most likely not from Apple since they are not an authorized dealer and therefore wouldn't be under my name or have my IMEI number. My father calmly told Sam that he wanted him to do what was right and refund us our money. Sam said "let me talk to my partner and i'll give you a call" Did not hear from him ever. I decided to take it to Best Buy to see if they could fix it and they were not able to given that it was obvious someone unqualified opened the phone and TOOK PARTS OUT! They said since it was opened by someone other than Apple my Apple Care could not be used and the cost to fix it would be $400 (Whole Unit Replacement) I had Best Buy formally write out what parts were missing, how much it would cost to fix it, and the technicians ID# & phone number. After finishing at Best Buy, my mother, sister and I took this information to this store and this time it was a women and a teenage boy behind the counter. The boy was helping another costumer, so we dealt with the women we told her the situation and she said she was familiar with it because Sam told her and she then says the same exact options that Sam told us. We said they were not reasonable options and that they should pay for the damage they caused ($400). The boy jumps into the conversation trying to say that they did nothing wrong. They never even asked what was wrong with my phone they just started defending like they had done this before and just by looking at the reviews they've had plenty of practice scamming people. The customer that the boy was helping started defending them as well and they allowed him to converse in a conversation that had absolutely nothing to do with him and he was saying awful things towards my sister and I. They refused to pay for the damage they caused, but were willing to give me an IPhone that we all know costs far more than $400. Doesn't sound right. They had no interest in doing what was right, so they decided to call the police (my mother, sister and I were calm we were angry of course but we were not physical or hostile AT ALL) They called them because they knew they messed up and we were probably the first customers to call them out on their shady business. After telling the police our side of what happened it was clear to everyone that we had been scammed, however, the only things we could do was consider filing a claim in small claims court or file a civil suit against them. After all of this these people now start saying they will at least refund us our money for the original repair that caused all the damage and consequent escalated issue. We knew that was about as good as it was going to get, so we accepted the refund and vowed to never return, and to be sure to let our community know our experience through a review. read more

I am updating this review as I did get an iPad repaired after this. Upgrading the star rating this time from 1 to 3. They do get the job done and I used a coupon which came in the mail. You just cannot get an iPad mini cracked screen repaired for $85 anywhere. Definitely value for money. I do have some suggestions on how to improve service based on 3 repairs I have done now through you guys: 1. For some reason I always end up waiting upwards of 3 weeks for every single repair. Reasons are always about waiting for parts to come in. I am okay with that, but you should call or email the customer to update them every 4-5 days on the status of the part. I always end up calling the store so many times wondering why it has been 3 weeks and no updates from your side. 2. Second, I got my ipad mini repaired this time, but the power switch doesn't work anymore, and the main button is "slightly off", I can feel it when I click it. So, focus on Quality Testing a little. There is no way a customer can think of all ways to test it when picking up their stuff. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Not a good experience. Charged me $50 for doing nothing to my water damaged iPhone and kept it for a month. Wuss never pick up phones when I called to inquire about progress. Stay away is all i can say. read more

Took my iPhone 5 in 3/2/14 with a "blown" loud speaker. Drove down from Denton for 2 reasons: 1. Cost 2. Part availability The tech replaced the speaker in about an hour. Unfortunately after the repair, the phone did not connect back to AT&T. The phone is over a year old, so I expect issues to pop up. The tech loaned my a phone better than mine, until they hot it completely fixed. Later that night Jim called me saying it was fixed and he needed the loaner back, as he had sold it. I understand his need to turn inventory so I made a special trip back down. Unfortunately the phone was still having issues when I arrived. Both Jim and I worked on the phone trying to figure out the cause. I have to say after 30-45 minutes I took some random steps and the phone connected back. Random I know, but Jim did not stop troubleshooting, until it resolved. The shop was very reasonable with the charges. My tip: fully test and check your phone. I would not recommend trusting this place with your phone. I had a terrible experience with them just recently with trying to get a damage iPhone 5 repaired. It had some water damage as I was caught in a thunderstorm and some water got into the speakers and lightning port and the screen was not working 100% correctly. I brought it in and they said they would look at it and call me within two days. I received no call and then left three messages which were never returned. I went back into the store on the fourth day and they couldn't find the phone and their "tech" was gone. Please come back tomorrow. So, on the fifth day I come back and nothing had been done. They said they needed more time. I came back in three more days and returned on a Saturday, 30 minutes after they were to have opened. I arrived, the "Open" light was on, but the door was locked. I waited 15 minutes and no one arrived. I came back that afternoon and there was someone there and he just said he ran late - sorry. Then, then he handed me my phone and said good news and bad news. The good news is I could plug my phone in and back it up. The bad news was it couldn't be fixed. He then proceeded to charge me $25 and I just paid it to get out of there and promised I would never go back. After getting home, I realized a screw was missing as was the SIM card - so I went back. He said those weren't in the phone when he got it and he couldn't help. I have since taken the phone into a much better place in Lewisville. They opened it up and assessed it while I was there, pointed out where the issue was, provided me a quote to fix it and I came back three hours later with a new phone. I took my two year old, top of the line Kindle to Best Buy because it got dropped and would no longer charge. Best buy refused to fix it because they said they were "disposable" and not worth it. I broke the screen on my iPhone and decided to get it repaired at Hitech Wireless because I wouldn't have to send it anywhere and it was supposed to be about $10 cheaper than sending it to Apple. However, I sorely regret spending my money and time with this business. Admittedly, this incident happened almost a year ago (it was so bad I still feel the need to leave a review) however it is still the same site and owners and I would not doubt it if it was the same workers as well. I needed a simple screen replacement, they finished it the same day about an hour later everything seemed fine when I picked up my phone, they were very kind. However, the next day upon closer inspection of my phone I realized the screen seemed to be popping out of the frame slightly so I examined the frame and discovered that whoever did the repair had also significantly bent the metal frame of my phone. I took my Phone back the next day to see their response and the guy I had dealt with the previous day was there again. He denied all fault and claimed that I somehow bent the STAINLESS STEEL frame when I dropped the phone originally even though that disfiguration in the frame had never been there until I noticed it the day after I picked up my phone from this business. The guy was extremely rude and argued with me until I said never mind and walked out, since there was another customer in the building I wasn't trying to cause a huge scene. I had to buy a completely new phone on top of the costs of the repairs that ruined my previous phone. I wouldn't trust this business with your money, ever. I especially would not trust them to repair your iPhone screen because most their bad reviews seem to be for screen repairs, it's better to go without your phone and send it in to Apple to have your phone legitimately repaired. read more

I will never step foot in this place again. After dropping my phone and cracking the glass, I continued to use my phone for over a week. Everything worked fine, touch screen, pixels, colors, etc. were all fine. I took my phone to Sam and Hi Tech for an estimate on getting the glass replaced. He did a thorough inspection of my phone to confirm that the cracked glass was the only problem, and he agreed that only the glass needed to be replaced. I came back the next day to get my phone and pay my bill for $119.06. Yes, the phone's glass had been replaced, but the bottom 1/4 of the screen won't recognize my touch. This basically makes the phone unusable because you can't type anything into the on-screen keyboard that is on the bottom 1/2 of the screen. Sam confirmed that the touch screen was broken. I asked for a refund, or for Sam to fix the new problem with the screen touch not working. He said he would not give me a refund because the glass had been replaced, and that the new problem not his responsibility. I have no other recourse but to do a "charge back" on my credit card, and to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with other consumer related websites like Yelp. read more

I went to Hitech wireless in Coppell the other day to get my cracked iPhone 5 screen fixed. he told me it was $99 plus tax which was alright so he finished the screen 30 min later and gave me the phone to try out and it was going crazy (pressing random buttons with out any one touching it). He tried to blame it on my case so he took it off and restarted my phone then it started working fine again but when I went home It started going crazy again( pressing random button, opening apps and not recognizing my finger touch). This which made me RELLY MAD because I just spent $108 to FIX my iphone not BREAK it even more.I cant even make calls anymore because it's gotten to the point where it hardly even recognizes my touch. I'm looking forward to getting refund because this is not right for a business to treat a paying customer. read more

Low quality phones. My family has purchased 3 phones from here and all have issues, mainly battery issues. I believe they are phones that have been refurbished with low quality, cheap parts. Very frustrating to deal with a phone dying at 20%, not charging, screen not working sometimes, only charging with certain chargers, etc. I don't recommend buying a phone from here, within 2 weeks you'll start having all sorts of issues. read more

I dealt with them few times and I had great experience each time. My wife had a windows phone (BLU) that she dropped and shattered the screen. She really liked that phone so I took it to Hi Tech, he looked at the phone and advised me that the amount of money I will spend replacing the screen since they will have to order the parts it would be better for me to order a refurbished or new Blu phone instead. So I took his advice and ordered another phone from a online retailer, I thought it was really honest of him to advice me such and not make any money from me. Next time I needed someone to cut a standard SIM to micro SIM, I called them and they cut it for me for free. I will recommend this business to all my friends and family. read more

Don't trust this place with your phone. The first iphone I took to fix had a broken screen. They charged me $80 to fix it and it broke again in 2 days. I had to take it to Radio Shack and pay another $80 to repair. They sold a friend an iphone that had a broken screen. They gave a 90 day warranty and when we returned in on the 93rd day with a broken screen, they charged $80 to fix it. Yes, they have fast service but it's terrible quality. read more

I left them a message and yet have to receive a call back. I may have dodged a bullet, if they don't care enough to open on time or return customer calls then I would be concerned about the quality of their repair. After a previously acceptable iPhone repair, I made the mistake of seeking an iPad screen repair with HiTech Wireless. While they did repair the screen, the home button did not function as it had before and was sticking. As this iPad belongs to the owner of the company I work for, I could not accept less than normal functionality. Upon returning a second time to pick it up, it would appear that the home button had been heated and distorted in an attempt to resolve the sticking issue. At this time it was clearly communicated to me by the owner that I was foolish to believe that the competency of his repair would be on par with Apple, and that I should have known to expect a lower quality repair. I explained that I could not accept the level of workmanship in the iPad repair and he reluctantly agreed to replace the home button. I returned a week later to find an incredibly loose home button which could easily be rocked at all angles and was significantly deep within the housing. Again, the owner effectively explained that his level of service was equal to the repair price. Discount pricing, sub-par quality. Normal home button functionality is crucial on an iPad. Incompetent repair, refusal to accept responsibility, unwillingness to reach an agreeable resolution. Caveat emptor. read more
