I had a great experience with HLL Express Auto Transport! Hired them to transport a car to Los Angeles. I received a text the day before pick up and the car arrived as scheduled (actually a day early). I was given a quote on the total amount. Paid a deposit and the remaining balance due to the driver upon pick up. There was no hidden fees and driver didn't increase the price when taking your vehicle unlike some of the other companies. HLL recommends you take photos /videos before driver takes your car and also upon picking up at the final destination. The driver also takes photos. This protects everyone. I needed help shipping my mom's car from Illinois to Dallas. Because of her advancing age I wasn't sure she would be able to deal with getting the car picked up on her end. So I made arrangements with the local dealership for them to do a little work on it and then handle getting the car on the transport. As a result, I needed some help getting the timing just right so the driver would arrive during business hours to pick up the car in Illinois. It was super easy explaining my situation to HLL, and the driver seemed comfortable with the requirements as well. The car got to Dallas, super fast and in great shape. In many ways, AMY (if that is her actual name) is fortunate that I am leaving this review. It means that she is likely not going to see me in court. And the only reason for that is due to a number of more significant issues that I had to deal with during my move. She became less of a priority to expose and punish for the damage done to my property, and the ensuing logistic headaches she caused me. Bottom line, Amy doesn't ship your car. Amy arranges for a 3rd party to do the work for her company. And when that 3rd party doesn't speak English, can't drive standard, doesn't know how to use a loading ramp, and in the process destroys your clutch, engine, etc., Amy takes NO responsibility. In fact, she tells you to stop contacting her--because that's harassment lol. FOR REAL. Instead, she fluffs you off onto the 3rd party and their sketchy team refuses any responsibility via their equally sketchy insurance broker. Bottom line, Amy doesn't ship your car. Someone else does. She is just a coordinator who takes your money. So it's bloody well LUCK of the DRAW, with whomever shows up to take your valuable automobile and get that to your destination (or in our case--not at all). Amy--if the above is a lie, you please see me in court. You sue me for defamation. Can't wait. But it's the truth. And god help you and your car if you get the wrong trucker to ship it. Ours looked like he was about to go to town on me and my girlfriend--physically--meaning violence, in addition to destroying my property. Again, if this is a lie--you know what to do Amy. And IF this review is removed through some shenanigans, I will likely take legal action in addition to a video YouTube review. And I will keep leaving reviews until my experience is documented. She was the first person to respond on Yelp quotes, and was quick with follow-up. The guys that picked up the car were professional and communicated with us as well to let us know when they would arrive. They picked up the car on Saturday and delivered it the next day. Fast service! Highly recommend. We'll be using them the next time we need to transport a vehicle. Total cost including cargo insurance was $825. This included $750 cost for transport, $50 to drop it off at our door instead of the facility in Frisco, and $25 dollar credit card processing fee. (If you don't want to pay the fee you can just pay the deposit and cash on delivery.) Our street is a cul-de-sac and a bit tight to turn around on so they delivered it to the nearest cross street which was fine. As many people know, the auto transport game is a really shady racket in many instances and you don't know who you can trust. Well, look no further, because now you've found someone you can trust. I found HLL via a Google search and they were awesome. I dealt with Amy and she was able to hook me up on a car transport on a Sunday of all days, when most other companies aren't even open. Car was picked up on that same Sunday (two days ago) in Fort Worth TX and was delivered safely in Las Vegas NV by Tuesday morning (today). Timing and circumstance matters, so I'm sure there was a bit of luck involved, but this was the craziest fast service I've ever received. Amy's communication was stellar throughout the entire process and the price of the move was definitely in line, especially given the speed and level of service received. The drivers that showed up with the trailer were super nice as well and they're off to Cali next with two more drops. I'd give 6/5 stars if I could here. Do not use this company if you actually want your car towed. The wrecker showed up on time. I had to push my car down the driveway into the alley for him to access. Once in the alley, his equipment was unable to function properly to get my car on the trailer. We were unable to push the car back into the driveway. I had to use my other car to tow my car back into my driveway. Essentially he came out and watched me push my car into the alley and use my other car to tow it back into my driveway.
