The carrier they used damaged my car and when I sought help from Ace to see if we could get my car fixed under either Ace's or the carrier's insurance they went completely silent on me and left me to repair my car on my own dime. Based on the way Ace and the carrier treated me and that their website assures they will take care of any damage caused by them, which I found to be false through my experience, I think that the folks running this place are unethical and should not be trusted with your car. read more

I had never used a car transport company before so I was hesitant to trust some random company with my vehicle. I contacted a couple other companies, and when I inquired about the breakdown of costs, some of the companies couldn't give me any answers. This company immediately told me the flat fee ($795), and if I wanted top load, it would be an additional fee ($150). I had my car picked up on a Saturday morning in San Antonio, and had it in Phoenix by Sunday afternoon. No scratches, and everything operated great. I used an open carrier, and I was bottom load. If I could give 0 stars I would. My vehicle went through a pre-inspection prior to departure from San Antonio, TX and was transported to Florida. The driver confirmed delivery time with my confirmed recipient and proceeded to not drop my vehicle that day. The next day the driver called stating they would drop my vehicle on Friday for my parents to find him unloading the vehicle outside the house on Thursday afternoon. Not only was a post-inspection not completed upon delivery, my car now has a cracked windshield that was not present prior. It's most upsetting to have worked with Casey Jackson who I have emailed and received no response or apology from. Granted the actual contracted company is reaching out to the driver to investigate Ace Connect should take some liability in the matter. It's not a matter of repairing the vehicle because someone will, a windshield under insurance, but the lack of follow through and follow up on their end. The service was not rendered in entirety and to feel that I don't matter now that they have collected payment is truly disheartening. The delivery was much smoother than I anticipated! Casey gave a firm $995 quote with a 1-5 day delivery for a car coming from TN to CA. I was a bit skeptical at first because it was so much lower than other quotes I had received, but I tried it after reading a fair amount of past positive reviews. The driver and Casey called frequently with updates and our car was received without any issues. The driver transported my car from TN to CA in 3 days! We did have to meet at a more open location because of the truck size, but it was a reasonable distance and acceptable because of the residential area having such narrow streets. Also, I was only required to pay a $195 deposit upfront. The remaining balance of $800 was paid certified check on delivery after my car was thoroughly inspected. Casey Jackson is the person I interfaced with at Ace Connect Auto Shipping. He was fantastic! Casey brokered all of my needs with the carrier. I spoke to him live and asked him how he has such high ratings (on the site where I found him) and he said by being very diligent with the carriers he used to make sure he only works with carriers who are consistent and provide high quality service. This may sound like a routine, cliche thing to say, but I worked in the moving industry for 6 years and consistency is what it's all about in this industry. Anyone can execute one move or one car shipment. It's doing a consistently good job over and over again as well as providing excellent care when things go wrong - and they do through sometimes through forces beyond anyone's control (weather, accidents or just something innocent like a driver getting lost). This type of business is very difficult to deliver great service and Casey came through for me. Additionally, he was always super available. If I emailed or called him, he got right back to me. I shipped my car very comfortably knowing that he was a quick email or phone call away if anything went wrong. The shipment itself was seamless. On both ends the carrier called and texted me to give me windows of when they would arrive. I lived in Boston and had to meet the driver since he is not allowed to pick up or drop off on the street in front of my building. I saw other reviews with people complaining about this sort of thing, but let me tell you (if you live in an urban setting), this is normal. It's makes complete sense. Cities and neighborhoods don't want big trucks picking up and dropping off items wherever they want. It's noisey, potentially messy (with oil stains on the road), and can cause congestion if a truck is blocking the street. Just know that this may be part of the process and it's very normal. My car made it to destination on time and safe. Best of all, the service was super cheap! I shipped my car over 3000 miles for just over a $1000. To be fair, I have a very small car (2 seat coupe), but that was still very cheap. As someone from this industry, I would give this piece of advice, tip your driver on the front end. So I used them, and have no regrets! The process was very smooth to ship a small SUV from Orlando to Los Angeles. The shippers they used were professional, thorough and careful. Though the first arranged auto carrier to pick up my car canceled due to mechanical issue, Casey was able to find another carrier, Newman Hauling Services to pick up my car from TX on the same day the previous arranged carrier canceled. AWFUL/STRESSFUL!! I gave Ace Connect two stars ONLY because the transport FINALLY happened otherwise it would be negative stars if possible. My initial quote came from Casey, quickly and efficiently as I began my due diligence looking to transport my daughters car from New York to UMIAMI for college. After looking into 4 or 5 brokers and reading reviews I decided to use Ace as they had the best reviews....I think they may only post the positive ones. I did speak in depth with another transport who was wonderful but had many negative reviews, the agents followup was however spot on! I was honest and told him the bad reviews were the reason I chose to go elsewhere....what a MISTAKE! I booked ACE almost three weeks prior and was assured NY to Miami was a busy, regular route that I needed a 5 day window and would have no trouble getting a trucker to pick this up. Needing the car to arrive while I was in town for the move was essential and we began the pick up window in that manner with Matt (who was very helpful) Thursday 8/9 - Monday 8/13 with me on a flight Tuesday 8/14. Well as on Monday at 11 AM I still had no confirmed pick up. I had religiously called within my window to check in (no pick up yet) and was told that the phones and emails were monitored over the weekend (joke was on me!). I did not choose the cheapest transport and money did not ever enter into my decision, only reviews and my conversations with the reps, so on Monday when I finally spoke to them at 12:30 and received no satisfaction I was told that maybe I wanted to up the ante for the truckers...why I didn't set the price (what BS this was)!!! Little did they know that I had coincidently received an email early Monday Morning from the transport I decided not to use (ROAD RUNNER) due to the bad reviews asking if I still had a need or was dissatisfied with who I chose (was I ever) so I decided to call Nick who was awesome!! Interestingly enough, they were able to see that my cars were listed $600 below my price paid (pigs on profit) which was why NO truckers were picking it up....but they wanted me to up the ante?! Through this I had repeatedly phoned and emailed Casey directly who never attempted to quell my concerns or had the decency to respond...so much for the owner leading the team! So my last conversation with one of the staff I cancelled transport and decided to book with ROAD RUNNER who was able to get me a trucker on the spot for Saturday with guaranteed drop off on Monday (baring any road issues). Done so I thought....Monday at 3:30 I received a message from Ace that they got me a trucker for that day. Unfortunately, I missed the call and despite my 8 call backs with vm left I could not reach them until 7:30...the angst I felt in addition to moving my 20 year old daughter to Miami was through the roof!! So this did happen on Monday thank you to Micka from MMA transport at 11:30 Monday night. I will never use Ace again and will tell the Miami community as well as my tristate contacts to do the same....bad move Casey on not having the proper response to handle client satisfaction. read more

Tried several times to get the car moved. Twice sent people not capable of moving a car 30 feet and onto a trailer. Finally was told that the tires were flat and locked...WHAT?!!? Tires all had air and I don't even know what "locked" means. After about three weeks of trying to get the car moved........a truck shows up finally with someone who seems to think they're going to move it........then I get a call from one of the many phone center people for the company, who tells me "the tires are flat and "locked". And that they don't move cars that have flat tires or locked wheels......really? So, I contracted another company, almost as slipshod but at least it seems my car is being moved.......or it went to a chop shop, we'll see......... steer clear of these folks, can't pour wee out of boot with instructions on the heel. read more

Although Casey was easy to work with his choice of "top 5 star-rated" carriers was not. Beware of the AUTO EXPRESS CARRIER company. My Porsche was delivered days later than expected, Messages were left for both Casey with Ace Connect Auto Shipping as well as Jose, AUTO EXPRESS CARRIER to no avail. No response, no communication from either. When car did arrive on 3rd day- The driver (not Jose) drove my car to house, unannounced as the truck sat in an alley. My car was driven 79 miles and had 1/2 a tank of gas when it arrived in California. Scratches on the front rims could be seen only after the car was cleaned the next day. Casey did not advise me to write down my mileage or take pictures but thankfully, I had the mindset to do so.. Although Casey did send my pictures to AUTO EXPRESS CARRIER and sent an email on my behalf, he was unable to help me.
