The staff is in the middle of trying a new check in process but it's new and I think it still needs work. I've only seen fetal medicine and endocrinologist at this Perrysburg location. I've worked in the medical field 20 years but I do think they need to do more work with streamlining their overall process. Communication with each other and the patient needs a lot of work. When you are going to multiple doctors and offices communication with each other is important especially since being a 1st time mom can be an overwhelming experience. I've had staff and doctors call me and have no idea what's going on with my care cause someone forgot to update their notes. Thank goodness I'm a great advocate for my care and very outspoken. Not awful care or anything but definitely needs work. Lab department was fast and easy to navigate. But I do think they need to lower their voices when talking about patient care, the ladies who check us in. Be a little more sensitive to the patient sitting right in front of you. Parking is easy, nice area if you wanted to grab some lunch or shop.

The office staff was so cordial and nice. It's the small town feel with the big town knowledge. From clerical, to the nurses to my doctor, I felt at ease and everyone seemed attentive and concerned with my well being. The lobby is clean, comfortable and there is a small area for children to be entertained before their appointments. The office is easy to get in and out. There is a cover over the entrance by the parking lot to let patients access the lobby. Across the lobby is a location for a blood draw which makes it convenient for patients and walk ins for testing.

Every single person on this medical staff was friendly, professional and caring. Such dedication and true concern I felt and very much appreciated. In late May, I took my mom to this office to have her toenails cut and filed by Dr Walkovich. Every member of his staff was very friendly and efficient. My mom was extremely impressed by Dr Walkovich's compassionate care. Although her toenails are difficult to cut (according to a previous podiatrist who cut her skin in the process), Dr Walkovich did an excellent job without harming her. He was also very personable. Unfortunately for us, we learned that this doctor was planning to move to Florida. However, my impression of the practice is that everyone there is caring and competent, so I would recommend this office for foot and ankle needs! They also have a practice In Perrysburg, OH that partners with the Toledo location. When I had foot surgery a couple of years ago, I recall the close coordination between the offices and one scheduler handled the appointments. They also take care of X-Rays within the office- super convenient!

Medical College of Ohio Hospital in Toledo has really changed in the past several years. I was…read morethere last week for a family member's surgery and I could not get over how state of the art the whole campus has become. The surgery waiting rooms on the second and third floors were comfortable, clean and friendly. The atmosphere in the rooms was pleasant and relaxed though the majority of people in the rooms were there for sickness and medical procedures. A thank you also to the employees there since dealing with people at their sad times has to be hard and these employees were great! A side note from the long day was stopping in the cafeteria on the first floor. This cafeteria was beyond clean and the food was one of the most gourmet type food areas in any of the local hospitals I've recently been in. I actually could imagine going out of my way to stop in there for a meal. I had an omelet made the way I wanted, plus the yummiest perfectly cooked bacon. Another treat were menu items from Tiger Bakery which is one of the best Mediterranean type bakeries in Toledo. Another perk, Medical College offer's valet parking though the parking areas are very convenient and easily accessible.

The Receptionist at the front desk had/has a horrible attitude the past 2 times ive been in there…read morein the last 2 months. She's on her cell phone all the time, gets annoyed at you visibly, rolls her eyes, and gives an attitude everytime you ask a simple question. She doesn't want to do her job and makes it very clear. She shouldn't be in a customer service position at all. There's a lot people out there that would love to have a job and not give an attitude to every patient/customer everytime. Absolute trash service i wont be back to this location again. 8:30am - 1/10/2024
