We also shared the veggie stir fry (medium spicy), green curry with chicken, veggie pad lad nad, chicken leg quarter, and whole tilapia. The standouts were the veggie stir fry and green curry. They were so flavorful and perfectly seasoned, great over sticky rice. I also love that the rice was served in cute baskets. The tilapia was a little disappointing but I'm glad I tried it. I also ordered the Naab Vaam drink and I loved it! Not overly sweet and very refreshing. I could tell that the place was a bit understaffed that day but overall everyone was friendly. My sister took me to her favorite Hmong place and I was not disappointed! We got spring rolls and egg rolls, both with pork. They tasted great, I loved. the dipping sauces, but the pork was just very very thin strips, can't say I really noticed it, but both were tasty. The egg rolls were different than I've ever had in that they were long and thin - think I prefer them this way. They came out crispy and very hot to the table. We shared the fried chicken leg, which was the drumstick and the thigh, with sticky rice. I loved how they cut it into four pieces and how crispy the skin was. For dessert I had their special drink/dessert the Nab Vam. It is a "tapioca dessert drink filled with colorful jellies, crunchy water chestnuts, chewy pearls, lightly sweet with creamy coconut". This place runs out of options daily and we dined on their last day at this location. My first choices were gone but they still had a lot to offer. I was thinking about the sausage with sticky rice and it was a great fall back. We got the pork egg rolls instead of the spring rolls because I love spring rolls with peanut sauce. The egg rolls were amazing and the dipping sauce complimented them well. Be careful! Ours were piping hot! My wife got the Red Curry medium spice. I was unable to taste the pork, I had to inspect my egg rolls to make sure they had protein. Egg rolls are larger than I thought but my review is really about their tilapia! The service was sparse, but we were never left wanting anything and we're kind of in and out, so we didn't really need more service than we got. So good, an earthy flavor to it. It didn't appear to have coconut milk in it. The service was excellent. The 2 waitstaff alternated between serving and cashier. Pho is 7-8/10. Not the best but not the worst. It's ok to cure a pho crave. Eggrolls are 6/10. I wish they added more meat. Felt like I was just eating a bunch of veggies inside the eggroll. The sauce was a little weird. It looked like pepto bismol. Tastes like sweet/sour sauce mixed with something else to make it thick. Maybe mixed with pepto? Papaya is 8-9/10. Pretty good. The waitress said their peppers were really spicy and so we asked for 2-3 peppers to make it "medium hot" but when we ate the papaya we couldn't taste any spice. There is not even 2 ounces of meat in the "extra large" Pho. I actually asked another server if this bowl was made properly. They thinly sliced a meatball, and you get half of one! The beef slices are like scraps and if I put them all together, it would be a tablespoon. I realize this is a Hmong restaurant, but come on. Broth is very light tasting and there is only a smattering of onion and herbs. Disappointed and just to advise the sauces are sickly sweet and hot, not a nuance of flavor to meld the flavors. Where have you seen a side of rice for $5.95? I really wanted to love this place! Haven't had Pho since last fall, we moved here from Milwaukee in early December. Service was very friendly and super fast, ordered a few egg rolls and the XL pho. The food was hot and tasted fresh, egg rolls were very crispy. Food was great, the name of the restaurant has egg roll in it so we got to try this. The pink sauce was deceptively delicious and I love the transparent noodles in the roll. Pho (extra large) was presented in a bowl that is big enough to dip my whole face in! Clear broth, well-sized and tender meat slices, everything was in perfect harmony, which made a great bowl of pho. The menu is really cute. I ordered the Spring & egg roll(s), seafood Pho, Hmong sausage (reminds me of Kabasa) w/sticky rice (not a personal fav), & coconut bubble tea. The bubble tea is powder form, but it tasted great (not a fan of my bubbles being frozen, but that's personal preference). The spring rolls were good & it came with a peanut/sweet chili sauce, so it's not thick like peanut sauces I normally get elsewhere. I preferred the Spring rolls over the egg roll, but it was still edible. Clean & socially distanced, & the service was super nice & quick! I was dining alone, lunch, around 12:30, May 20, 2021. I ordered the 2 Egg Rolls (Pork) with Fried Rice. Everything was pretty tasteless and bland. There was very, very little pork in the pork egg rolls. The "fried" rice was barely fried. About the service. When the order was delivered, the waiter had not brought any sauce or spices. I asked for soy sauce. He returned with two little packets. On the way out, I passed a table that had two big bottles of two different sauces, including soy sauce, and several jars of spices.
