And it wasn't cooked to crisp. The fat was very chewy and the container had a thick layer of oil so the meat was just soaking in fat over fat. Felt sick eating it but couldn't cook it more while at work nor did i want to waste money by throwing it away. First and last time ordering from there. My wife had I had the pho, and also shrimp spring rolls and fried egg rolls. We had bubble tea for beverages. Everything was great. Some of the best bubble tea I've had. Lot of unique varieties, but we stuck with standard flavors - lychee and green tea. I would give it five stars except my one critique - the pho was heavy on broth and light on add ins. I ordered take out from a doordash here. The menu on the site was not very easy to understand but I called in and the staff was so nice and took down my notes and got my order exactly as I wanted. I got the crab Rangoon's, green papaya salad, green curry vegetarian and shrimp fried flat noodles. All the food was tasty and fresh. I did not like the flat noodles but just because they are not my style, I misunderstood that there was no gravy in these noodles it's just straight fried and dried with a Smokey taste. The papaya salad is delicious it has tomato, peanuts and the sauce is the perfect level of garlic and sweet. I really really recommend you try this and the portion size is SO large! The green curry came with rice it was very good and nice assortment of vegetables. I got to sample a few different things that my friends ordered in addition to the green curry w/ tofu & veggie egg roll I ordered! Would definitely order egg rolls again and really liked the green curry - but was a bit too spicy for me so next time I will ask for mild/medium Was relieved when they said they did have tofu (not on menu) - it was cooked well! I tried the orange chicken sauce and it was super flavorful - tasted like there was orange peel or something, very fragrant and good! The crab rangoons were light, crispy, and delicious. This is by far the best Thai and Eggroll place in La Crosse. It used to be called Thao's and they changed the name but still amazing. Green Curry beef or chicken is great, lots of spice, the egg rolls are the best you'll find outside of the annual fundraiser for the Hmong cultural center. Staff is extremely nice and hard working, this place is moving quick to get orders filled and correctly. They deserve the 5 stars and if you're in La Crosse you got to try it read more

By far the best Chinese food I have ever had in my life! My friend and I go here every chance we get. I always get the sesame chicken dinner with fried rice and 3 crab Rangoons. I tried the large pho combination. I am looking for climate, service, authenticity, creativity, and price. I scaled 0 to 5 for each category. Climate: 2- my table was sticky, and I felt crowded with the tables sat in the small space. Service: 2- I was only asked once about my foods, never refilled my cup. Authenticity: 2- I know that every restaurant has their own way of making their pho (broth and noddle), the broth was okay but the noodle was not authentic. Don't use noodles from prepackaged. Creativity: 2- I go to restaurants to experience something outside of my everyday foods and I did not experienced that. Price: 2- My portion was more of a medium and I ordered large. I ordered a combination. Meat not enough, shrimps (6) was okay, meatball (7) thinly sliced not enough. Recommendations: I would not recommend for you to order this dish. Name of the place says it all: this place has five star egg rolls! Made just the way we like them and similar to how we make them at home with cellophane noodles, lots of vegetables, and just a little bit of pork to give it great flavor. A new restaurant in La Crosse and we are very glad we ordered some take out via Eat Street. They have a lot of dishes that you would expect to see on typical Americanized Chinese food, but the dishes will actually contain flavor. The curry had coconut milk, lemongrass, and tons of spices making it mild, savoury dish. The flat Drunken Noodles was exactly how we ordered it, spicy enough to make my wife cry. I really enjoyed my sesame chicken. It was made with whole white meat and breaded perfectly. The only dish that was a little subpar, was the lo mein dish. It was a little heavy on the soy sauce and sugar. I think it did not have any sesame oil, which is something I typically expect to taste in the dish. Overall, we enjoyed all of our dishes and would recommend the majority of them. Do yourself a favor and just go ahead and order 12 egg rolls; you'll get one for free. This will be our go-to restaurant in the lacrosse area and we hope they keep up the good work. read more
