I came home Friday Afternoon (10APR26) to find a puddle forming in my garage. My water heater of…read moreover 16 years had finally given out. To Rescue Air's credit, they had been warning us each time they came out for HVAC Filter rotations. Thankfully, Rescue Air's ace plumbing expert Mr. Phillip Blystone was dispatched to my home to assess the situation. Within minutes he identified the issue and immediately started to work out a plan and arrangement my family could manage to cover the expense of the Water Heater replacement: the source of the leaking problem. Rescue Air has a very long history of working with my family since we've been in this home (2016), so that level of service is a given these days. But that's not the complete reason for the 5-Star rating. The next day, now with a working heater, my wife and I discovered that a leak was still present in the Garage. Upon calling Rescue Air to let them know what was going on, Mr. Blystone responded swiftly to our location to triage the leak. Using both his advanced equipment and intuition, he found that in spite of the solid repair and replace he and his team performed of the water heater, a leak was sadly missed during the initial assessment. Most other business would likely have tacked on a "not-our-problem" sort of response to this. However, Mr. Blystone and by extension Rescue Air are not your normal type of company. With careful consideration of the economic circumstance of the recent repair & purchase, balancing years of customer loyalty and being a genuinely saint, Mr. Blystone proceeded to isolate and resolve the leak (a small puncture hole in the T-pipe hot-water line leading from the heater) pro-gratis. Completely unexpected, but definitely much appreciated! It goes without saying it would be extremely foolish for my family to consider doing business with anyone else in the Dallas Metro given Rescue Air's track record with our family. The value lost would be far too great. While I hope to not need their services as often as recently, I definitely look forward to working with them and Mr. Blystone should the need arise again.

I hired Rescue Air & Plumbing in 2023 for routine maintenance on the original AC in our home. What…read moreshould have been a simple visit turned into high pressure sales tactics. They claimed safety issues, pushed contracts in front of me, and scheduled installation for the next day. I tried to cancel but was told I was locked in. I ended up spending around $30,000. After the installation, every maintenance visit came with aggressive attempts to sell me more services I did not need. Then the new system failed in 106 degree heat. The compressor failed at only 16 months old. Communication was poor, and I was left without AC for about seven days. I had to repeatedly chase them for updates. They did not have the part, did not follow up, and someone finally arrived at 10:30 PM after days of waiting. They gave me a two year complimentary membership as compensation. I assumed the membership would end after the two free years. My card on file had expired, yet in May and June 2026 the company suddenly began charging me again. This suggests someone manually updated my card information without my permission. I never authorized a renewal, never received a renewal notice, and never received invoices for any charges. They refunded the charges I caught, but then claimed I owed $95.80 for four months of fees that were never billed and never agreed to. I asked for written confirmation of a zero balance and never received a direct response. They only responded to the BBB and stated the account was at zero. Based on my experience with both service and billing, I strongly recommend being cautious before using this company.

*edited on 4/28/2025** to add pictures that show the copper connection literally melted down due to…read morethe horrible installation from Precision Comfort as well as installing the wrong components ! no wonder why the copper completely melted! Absolutely one of the most absent-minded, boneheaded, obvious mistakes you could make. I only noticed due to the smell of burning metal and smoke. This installation could of burned my house down, god forbid with my kids inside. Used this contractor to come and diagnose my issue. They had to return multiple times over the course of a few days to finally replace the condenser in my outdoor AC unit. The condenser they installed was done improperly, causing the connections/fittings to not fit properly. This caused my AC unit to turn into a block of ice in the middle of hot Texas weather. The fittings/connections from the condenser to the air handler was the wrong type, so they had to come back again. -- An analogy would be, if this was a mechanic shop and they were working on a Ford Truck, yet the manufacturer sent in a Volkswagen engine, rather than talking to the manufacturer to get the correct part sent, they just forcefully installed the Volkswagen engine into a different make/model of a car just to get the job done. This approached ended up causing more problems, money, and time wasted for all parties involved. A little due diligence can go a long way. When they returned, they told me the service visit was free of charge as it was their fault. Upon completing their visit, they had me pay $300 for the visit, even though they EXPLICITLY told me that it was a free service/diagnostic visit since the problem was never originally fixed, AND it was their fault. Normally, before any work gets done, the business tells you about the costs involved and has you sign off on it before they begin the work. This was not the case. They shocked me with a $300 bill that i had to retroactively get removed. More effort and time wasted on my end. This still did not fix the issue. After paying $1500 to Precision Comfort Home Services, my issue was still not resolved. After calling them back and explaining the situation, they then discovered the "real" problem about it being a leak within some piping. That would of been great to know prior to spending hours of my time and not to mention a great deal of money ($1500). When i asked what it would cost to actually fix my REAL PROBLEM, they quoted me again. I responded that I would shop around for a cheaper price, and found many other businesses willing to do the work for 15-25% less of what they quoted me. I asked if they could match the quote and was told "good luck". i am of the personal opinion that this is not how customer service should be handled. Mistakes happen, of course. But when it comes to my HOME and THOUSDANDS of dollars, I want to make sure i am giving my money to people who actually give a shit. Then, the audacity of the owner to text a customer passive aggressive threats at 11:00pm at night because he doesn't agree with a google review. Bad reviews happen from bad jobs. This is one of them. Get used to it and stop harassing customers late at night. Ryan Mudd the technician was wonderful and polite. I can't say the same for the rest of the team. I do not recommend this company at all. Edit: the screen shots maybe out of order but just look at the timestamps and it will tell you the whole story.

Sorry but this business is a group of liars. Bottom line is they quoted me a price on the phone and…read moreI was so happy with the price I told them that. Full of excitement and even mentioning I would write them a great review, I told the lady I thought her price quote was amazing. She never said the $59 dollars is a service fee to diagnose the problem. OR in my case confirm what I told them the problem was. A clogged PVC AC drain pipe. The lady on the call did not say one word about the $59 being a diagnostic fee and that they would give me an additional quote once the problem was co formed. When the tech got there he immediately asked me what the problem was. I told him the drain pipe was clogged and I just needed it cleared. I've had this exact service performed and it takes about 15 minutes. He told me if they found no other problems and only the clogged pipe then the service by itself was $380. He quickly mentioned the total would also include the $59 diagnostic fee. The most frustrating part of it all is how they keep claiming I got confused on the original phone call. I asked them to pull the call and listen to it. They ignored a response to that. In the end, they are still liars regarding what their website claims. That any in home estimate is free. I'm attaching a picture of their website that states free estimates. The technician Gage was not helpful and had a I don't care attitude. He's another liar. You guys tried to see if I'd upsell because my ac is completely off and it's unbearable inside but I don't busy with scam like tactics. I'm letting everyone know because I do not want them to experience what I went through. Why are you charging a fee to diagnose issues when you claim estimates are free? Oh I get it. You have to pay $59 to be told whats wrong with the system but once paid we will give you a free repair estimate. I love how the owner didn't respond to my question about why they claim to have quoted me a $59 fee to diagnose the problem only when their website says free estimates. Second, he ignored me asking the business to pull the call and listen to the lady says my exact issue to fix was $59. Instead he just says I misunderstood. The phone call doesn't lie but your business sure does. Proof is in the picture and the phone call. Both of which you still refuse to address.
