I came home Friday Afternoon (10APR26) to find a puddle forming in my garage. My water heater of over 16 years had finally given out. To Rescue Air's credit, they had been warning us each time they came out for HVAC Filter rotations. Thankfully, Rescue Air's ace plumbing expert Mr. Phillip Blystone was dispatched to my home to assess the situation. Within minutes he identified the issue and immediately started to work out a plan and arrangement my family could manage to cover the expense of the Water Heater replacement: the source of the leaking problem. Rescue Air has a very long history of working with my family since we've been in this home (2016), so that level of service is a given these days. But that's not the complete reason for the 5-Star rating. The next day, now with a working heater, my wife and I discovered that a leak was still present in the Garage. Upon calling Rescue Air to let them know what was going on, Mr. Blystone responded swiftly to our location to triage the leak. Using both his advanced equipment and intuition, he found that in spite of the solid repair and replace he and his team performed of the water heater, a leak was sadly missed during the initial assessment. Most other business would likely have tacked on a "not-our-problem" sort of response to this. However, Mr. Blystone and by extension Rescue Air are not your normal type of company. With careful consideration of the economic circumstance of the recent repair & purchase, balancing years of customer loyalty and being a genuinely saint, Mr. Blystone proceeded to isolate and resolve the leak (a small puncture hole in the T-pipe hot-water line leading from the heater) pro-gratis. Completely unexpected, but definitely much appreciated! It goes without saying it would be extremely foolish for my family to consider doing business with anyone else in the Dallas Metro given Rescue Air's track record with our family. The value lost would be far too great. While I hope to not need their services as often as recently, I definitely look forward to working with them and Mr. Blystone should the need arise again. read more

I hired Rescue Air & Plumbing in 2023 for routine maintenance on the original AC in our home. What should have been a simple visit turned into high pressure sales tactics. They claimed safety issues, pushed contracts in front of me, and scheduled installation for the next day. I tried to cancel but was told I was locked in. I ended up spending around $30,000. After the installation, every maintenance visit came with aggressive attempts to sell me more services I did not need. Then the new system failed in 106 degree heat. The compressor failed at only 16 months old. Communication was poor, and I was left without AC for about seven days. I had to repeatedly chase them for updates. They did not have the part, did not follow up, and someone finally arrived at 10:30 PM after days of waiting. They gave me a two year complimentary membership as compensation. I assumed the membership would end after the two free years. My card on file had expired, yet in May and June 2026 the company suddenly began charging me again. This suggests someone manually updated my card information without my permission. I never authorized a renewal, never received a renewal notice, and never received invoices for any charges. They refunded the charges I caught, but then claimed I owed $95.80 for four months of fees that were never billed and never agreed to. I asked for written confirmation of a zero balance and never received a direct response. They only responded to the BBB and stated the account was at zero. Based on my experience with both service and billing, I strongly recommend being cautious before using this company. read more

I believe the other negative reviews to be spot-on. Be very, very careful with this company. They came in to give an estimate for one repair, but that turned into a big, scary report of all the issues, pointing strongly at a completely new system. Ok. They had photos. Their explainations sounded reasonable, especially when coupled with the photos they quickly flashed through on their tiny phone. So, I told them that we would likely move forward, but I require two things - a copy of all of those photos, and two estimates, one for what they wanted to sell me, and a separate itemized repair list. I got two estimates - one for the original they were pushing, and another for something MORE expensive. No itemized list of repairs. No photos. When I reached out in email, they wanted a phone call. There is almost always a good reason for not wanting to leave a record via email. But, $15,000-ish for a new 5 ton unit, with no new duct work... yeah, you'd better *really* back that up. They could not (would not?) I now have to suspect that thier photos were doctored in some way, maybe even not all of my unit. Who knows? Who looks inside, like that? And, I suspect their reason for not sending me copies of those were dubious. They also pressured the sale claiming that "prices go up next week for Summer." Sha. Ok. This was in March. Good luck with these tactics. Not for me. If you want to give them enough rope to hang themselves to find out for yourself, just act ignorant and as excited for a new unit as they suddenly are to sell you on it. You'll see. It'll cost you $120 for the scammy diagnosis, though. read more

I had an issue where my toilet would sporadically drain overtime, and although I figured it was an easy fix, I decided to have this team come out for consultation as they offered that as a free service. The day I reach out to them, they were able to fit me right in for a consultation and I had no issues with that and the person showed up on time. He even came with shoe covers, which was an unexpected bonus. After their investigation, my assumptions were confirmed that it was due to my toilet water flapper being old where the wear and tear from overtime usage got to it. They provided a great quote and entertained a few ideas on if I wanted to upgrade other parts of the toilet, but at the end of the day, they fixed my issue on and stopped by the house all on the same day! The audacity. Rescue Air and Plumbing did shoddy work at my house, and they've earned themselves a review after offering nothing, and spamming my phone if I'd like them to do more service (lol. lmao, even). They did poor sealing work on my HVAC unit. A tech from another company demonstrated this clearly with a fog gun, like you'd get at a party store. The installed a "Freeze proof" (resistant) spigot pointing up, and entirely exposed from underground or inside the house. This misinstalled uselessness then started leaking, and someone competent installed on properly. I'd say I got especially unlucky given these other reviews, but between the shoddy work across HVAC and plumbing, I experienced a pattern of shoddy and/or useless work. read more

I reached out for service and provided my location in the contact form. I quickly received a response from Keiri at Rescue Air and was informed a tech would be able to come out the following day. So, I provided my street address and then I was told Rescue Air needed to check if they service my area. I never heard back so I followed up at the end of the week. I received an apology and asked which days would work for the service. I let them know I was available any day. It has now been a week since and I still have not received aresponse. I'm sure the service itself is probably good, but Rescue Air was not interested in my business so I cannot comment. read more

Let me first say that Philip KNOWS HIS STUFF!!! I've been having an issue with 1 of my downstairs toilets for well over a year, I have 2 other restrooms so it wasn't a bid deal to where I needed to drop everything to address it. The issue was that there was a super slow flow in the water line that caused the toilet to fill up extremely slow and for the cold water side of the faucet to flow slow as well. After Philip asked me a few questions and I answered them, he then asked if I had valve box and my answer yes and I took him to it. Turns out that the valve that controls the water flow to that restroom was pretty much cut off, causing the flow to be slow. Philip opened that baby all the way up and that water flow came rushing through like it's supposed to!!! The crazy part about it is, I actually had 2 other companies look at it when I first noticed it a year ago and they both concluded that it was some foreign object in the line and that they'd have to cut through my wall to retrieve it. That's the reason it took me so long to get it fix, I just wasn't ready to pay out of the Wazoo to have the work done!! I REALLY appreciate this company! It pays to have someone that actually KNOWS what they're talking about and not just guessing!! read more

So, from our initial call to Rescue Air yesterday afternoon, to their representative coming out only a couple hours later, to their installation team coming out this morning to spend most of the day getting us squared away, I have never experienced such speedy and yet comprehensive and friendly service! Kudos to our installation team of Austin M. and Ty F.! They worked continuously and tirelessly all day long getting our old system out, cleaning ducts and installing, testing and training us on our new system. They worked great as a team, were so courteous and polite, and really gave us a good feeling about our purchase and about the company they represent! The tankless water heater needed servicing since it had not been done since installation almost 3-4 years ago. Victor did a great job explaining the work that needed to be done and it took less than 1 hour to complete. He also fixed the low water flow for a few faucets mainly on the top floor and the shower head. The service cost was on par with other quotes but Rescue Air/Plumbing had better availability and again they provided great service. We've all been there before, need a repair but dont know who to call? On Monday morning, I called 5 different HVAC companies to come out and inspect at our AC Condenser which kept shutting off. After receiving quotes from two companies, Roman with RescueAir showed up just before 6pm. With no knowledge of the previous quotes or inspections, I asked Roman to verify a few key issues the other HVAC technicians called out. He took his time to thoroughly explain the technical side and show me readings that disproved what other technicians had advised. Really really really good service. My husband and I have had some run ins with service people not showing up on time, not showing up at all, zero communication, you name it! Rescue Air & Plumbing checked all these boxes. We had an issue where we thought we heard water dripping in our wall---it freaked the hubs out, so I was on the phone immediately, trying to get someone out to check. RA&P had someone come to our house the very next day. They even sent any and all updates via text. How convenient! Are they the cheapest? NO. $99 just for them to come out. Womp Womp.
