This review is for the "Xe Do Hoa Phat" Which claims to have power outlets at every seat, wifi service, restroom, reclining seat, complimentary lunch sandwich, full AC and heat. When arrived, they claim they don't have a driver for the "big bus" so we are stuffed into a small van which do not have any of the listed service, and they still charge $30 per person for the small van with non of the service listed earlier. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!!! Will have to write an FTC complaint for false advertisement. If this can get negative stars, it would, because this is a SCAM. STAY AWAY. read more

This business is dishonestly to Vietnamese customers, I sent a package cost $150 as advertised display with original Tylenol boxes and other medicines including. I make sure that they will send what ever as advertised. My cousin at Việt Nam sent me pictures of medicines that was received, most from Costco and Sam's club. Not original Tylenol as they advertised. I came to office at spoke to the clerk and she told me as long as Tylenol replacement then it's fine. Very unprofessional answer and don't care attitude . I told her if you advertised one thing but selling different things and dishones to customers then no one will do business with you. You can do it to me only once for all. Well..... of course the lady denies remembering the convo she had w my husband just the day before... so we already considered our battle lost and my husband admits his fault and flaw for not checking the receipt. After much expressed concerns regarding their business services, esp to loyal customer like my husband, she agree to refund my husband half the amt. better than nothing.... My husband was concerned and then now checked his receipt and noticed it was written for $500 + service fee.... Again, I understand this is my husband fault, tough lessen learned!). This is a review based on transportation of boxes from San Jose to Westminister (if you ever need anything from Home) - You can ship pretty much anything on the bus depending on where they leave (San Jose or Westminister) and it's pretty cheap. My mom sent some Lunar New Year items for me in a medium sized bag and it was only $5 to ship. The people were nice and called me when the bus has arrived and they hold your stuff in an office so you can come pick up anytime before 5 PM. However, please be prepared to speak Vietnamese....! It took me a while to take a first trip with Hoa Phat Xe Khach because I was hesitating due to other negative inputs. Finally, I decided to give my self a try. I was very SURPRISE. Not just the price is inexpensive but EVERYTHING ELSE were GOOD, too. The driver was very polite and assisted the elders, who needed extra hand. The bus was very clean with AC running fine. If I can I just give them no They dont know how customer service is.. so stupid I came to send some stuff for my family in Vietnam. They dont want me to write down how many stuffs I have. They give me a bad attitude when I want to write down what I have. They said just write something like clothes, medicine,.... and then I asked them: what are u doing if I have 4 bottles of the oil but my Dad just get 3 of them? They Just keep silent...... For the record, when you're taking using any bus service similar to this one, you just really have to have low expectations. So with that in mind, I think Xe Do Hoa Phat is really fantastic and provides great service! I'm not sure why the other reviews are so passionately negative but I've never had a problem with anything. They are relatively new so often times their seats are quite vacant and so you end up with lots of leg room in the bus. As a music student, I travel with my large instrument and they are always happy to take the case along with my luggage and never charge me extra for it. The ride can take anywhere from 5 hours to 9 depending on the traffic so you really just have to prepare for that 4-hour difference because the bus has no control over what traffic might occur. I also super appreciate that I can buy my ticket ahead online and I love that they give you a stamp card. Every 6th ride is free! All in all, a standard experience. Can't complain with a ticket costing only 30 dollars. read more

I am happy when I decided to try this bus for my mini trip to see my parents from Westminster to San Jose because it was comfortable, convenient, and reasonable price. First, the comfort, the seats are comfortable with thick cushions, easy to recline, and plenty of room for legs to stretch. The driver was friendly and helpful, which he help me my loading the luggages, he stopped two times for people to use the restroom. They provide lunch with a baguette with tasty stuff inside and a fresh water bottle, so I don't have to worry about hungry or thirsty. The car is rather old, but the floor and the seats are clean; however , the windows need to clean because there are many spots. The air conditioning works perfectly. Second, it's convenient. I didn't have to make reservation, and I have just show up around 8am to buy a ticket and choose your favorite seat because it first come first serve. I could park my car there for couple days, so I can you my car when I return which save me time and money. Also, I can use their restroom at ticket booth location before and after the trip, and this means so much for sensitive bladder person. Lastly, it cost only$30 for one way. read more

The staffs didn't know the difference between bodymist and perfume. They charged me a stupid amount of money $7/bottle. Wtf!!!?!??! The lady was sitting behind the glassess said "I don't know, just because these bottles have sprays on it so we considered all of it as perfume". Are you freaking joking ? Ok, tonight is new year eve, like everyone, i just wanna have a peaceful and jouful night after almost 5 hours driving from my home...unfortunately, i was welcomed by a grouchy lady at the store. Before coming, i checked their hours. It's closed at 6.30pm, i arrived at 4.35pm with a heavy box. The old lady said:' it's late, why do u come at this time, then u have to wait for a long time...' i didnt say anything but straight to the point i want my package delivered to Ha Noi. I know she's old and it's kind of late afternoon, maybe she just wanna go back home and have new year eve with her family. So Do I!!! But their service is so amature. I asked her about the fee of my iphone 6 plus, she said $40, but after packing my stuff, she said 'oh oh sorry it's $50.' And i was so suprised when she told me the fee for the package. It costs twice than other place. I just want to take my stuff back and leave but she said she packed it all already, 'u pay $10 for packing fee and tape#&$^#%!^!!!!!! Oh god bless me!!!!!
