Ughhhh what a long overdue review. This UPS is unfortunately the one closest to my house and I absolutely hate coming here, at all costs. The only reason I'll step foot into here is because I'm returning something to a company that used UPS. The customer service here will definitely blow you out of the water for all the wrong reasons. Rude and unhappy employees. I swear they try everything to have a "problem" with every package being returned. I don't know if they are annoyed by Amazon returns, but if they are then don't offer them. Don't make it difficult for customers. They obviously make money dealing with Amazon returns, so why are they acting so rude as soon as they know you aren't "buying" anything from them? I really do believe they nitpick at every single order. I tried returning something in a box and they wanted another box wrapped around it. But the other return I had had the exact same packaging and that one was okay?? They told me I had to spend $4 for a bag to go around it. Why would you charge $4 for a bag? That's ridiculous! I didn't have my wallet on me because the return was free, so I had to go all the way home just to meet their requests without paying. At this point I refuse to spend any money here and I hope it was worth it for them to get a bad review over their stupid "policies." The poor guy in front of me had to pay $88 dollars to ship a medium size box. Like come on! These prices are ridiculous. I own a business and ship my own products using pirate ship and a rollo printer and have never paid more than $25 to ship across the country and for a heavy package. It's always fast when you have everything prepped before coming inside the store to he able to return a few things from Amazon, fast service and also very efficient. Well trained and well mannered. Been going here for years. Notary, sending faxes, shipping things out, printing, they have it all. There is a very small parking lot because it's shared with other business I usually park outside of it on the sketchers side and just walk in. They are well staffed but just very busy a lot of amazons returns coming through. The workers are all very nice and kind and go out of the way to make sure you are helped. I needed a quote to send a package and they were very thorough in researching and gave me a few options and alternatives as well. read more

Forgot to mention that months back, I returned multiple Amazon items in a medium sized box that fit everything, but they opened it and took it apart. Gave me back my box. I think because usually you don't use boxes for Amazon. That was fine with me how they want to handle it, but weeks later, Amazon said the items were not received so Amazon recharged me for the items. I've returned multiple items in a box before without issues or it being taken apart by other locations. Had to go through customer service for each item to explain the issue and was a hassle. read more

Kenny is alway professional and personal when I come visit OC and need to ship stuff out at this store. Whether it's a label print, or 16 abysmal Amazon returns, a wrong address, or a bunch of business shipments- he's always polite and professional. Once, he got up mid chew during his lunch or snack to help me with some notary stuff when the owners called him on him and, always has a great attitude. He's ALWAYS respectful-even when the owners are not. Kenny could probably run that store by himself if he needed to. All jokes aside, he slaps, and you're lucky if you get him when you visit this UPS. I'd give him 6 stars if I could! read more

This review is for Kenny, the Notary. We had an urgent doc that we needed to notarize. Called the store an hour before closing, and they let us know the notary would only be there till 6:30p. Got there and unfortunately I didn't have the proper ID. Kenny was patient, gave us a few options, offered to stay a half hour later to help us and made sure we got our document notarized on time. Poor service. I came in on 9/20 @ ~2:20pm. One representative demanded that a customer needs to take screenshots of her QR codes before coming. I understand that would make things more efficient for the workers, but it should not be demanded. Secondly, I brought an Amazon return in a box. The second worker took the items out, put it in a bag, then told me to take my box. I said I don't need it, and I asked if they could discard it. She said no, and that I would have to walk around the building to discard it in the dumpster. Every other UPS I've been to REUSES and RECYCLES the box/bag if I bring one. I've never been told to walk it over to the dumpster before... Pretty poor customer service. I would avoid this location. RESPONSE TO THE STORE: The way the representative communicated about the QR codes was not a recommendation. He yelled something along the lines of, "Take a screenshot of all your QR codes before you come!" The tone was demanding and condescending to say the least. I felt bad for the lady who experienced that. Rather than defend and dismiss (which seems to be their default response), I'd recommend to train the representatives to be more respectful and professional. Regarding the box, again, this is not how other UPS stores operate. They reuse & recycle. Based on the experience and lack of accountability based on the store's response, I would still recommend to avoid this location. Other UPS locations are much better. read more

The staff greets you with the enthusiasm of someone being forced to assemble IKEA furniture for the third time that day. Asking a simple question seems to personally offend them. Need shipping tape? A label printed? Basic human acknowledgement? Prepare to be met with a sigh so deep it could power a wind turbine. I keep trying to give them my business, but they make it feel like I'm asking them to carry my package across the country on foot. The vibe is: "Why are you here, and how quickly can you leave?" By the time I walk out, I feel like I've survived an emotional obstacle course. Honestly, if attitude and unhelpfulness were Olympic sports, this store would take home the gold every year. If you want efficiency, kindness, or even the slightest hint of customer service... do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. read more
