Oh my gosh! This is the best nursery with the most incredible owner; Jessica. You can tell she has put a lot of love (and countless hours) into the nursery. It's well laid out and full of so many great ideas. The advice I have received is invaluable and their classes are always extremely helpful. As you can tell, I'm a bit of a novice gardener but Jessica never made me feel dumb and answers all my questions without a hint of annoyance. She simply wants you to be successful. I buy all my seeds and starts here and they've done really well thus far. I just can't say enough good things about this nursery. Pay Jessica a visit, I promise you won't be disappointed. read more

- cute little nursery - It's a hidden gem that's a bit remote from everything else. They have plenty of herbs and fruit trees with fruits already, and many different kinds of maple trees. I got a golden muscat grape here that I've never seen anywhere else. I also saw their current trees with tons of fruits, but I didn't get it in the end. They also have a good indoor section with a good selection of indoor plants and succulents, and all of their plants look healthy. The nursery cat is also friendly and welcomes rubs. I asked the owner(?) about growing the golden muscat, and she said it's easy but it will take a few years to take off. They don't have a ton of stuff like the flower world as this is likely a family business, but you might be able to find something you like here... read more

Happy to say I could not check in here on Sunday because they were not yet on Yelp. However I'm happy to change that today! Over (26) 5 star google reviews, this had to be done! They are open Wed-Sun 10-5 As always, I wanted to support a small local business. Especially during these hard times. After asking around, this was the right place for us! It's fairly small, its right off the road with a gorgeous sign. They were a tad pricey from what I was told, however, I really have nothing to compare the prices too other than Home depo. The reason I went with them was because my MIL BEGGED me not to go to home depo for plants. I mean, begged! They had a gorgeous selection and the team had incredible knowledge. She made me feel very confident in my choices! I had one requirement, something I cant kill. I wanted to add pops of color with red and white annuals. One thing you must know prior to going is the amount of direct sunlight you are getting and what direction your home is facing. That's really the key here. I know I went for outdoor landscaping type of plants. However, green house two is TRULY something incredible. I mean..... I MEAN! I could become a plant mama honestly! The pots alone were making me want all the plants! That being said, its a well put together nursery and thought out so well. I found just what I was looking for; happy, friendly, and local. They have the best plants around. The staff is knowledgeable and super helpful. The tropical greenhouse is amazing.

We are in the middle of a significant makeover of our gardens - moving plants, preparing new spaces and thinking through how we want things to look next summer, two years later and ten years later! We are trying to get as much in the ground as possible before spring, taking advantage of Mother Nature's free watering in season. My wife and I have visited many nurseries, from Pierce County to Snohomish County, and we've been fortunate to have met many wonderful and knowledgable people at each one. Hobart Farms is our latest destination and our experience with them has been beyond five stars. Jessica, Domenic and Lilly have helped us so far - advising us about alternatives for bare spaces, recommendations on how to arrange new plants in a new garden, planting, feeding and lots of encouragement! We are hopefully close to done purchasing what we need to plant this season, but we are looking forward to our spring visits to Hobart Farms for more perennial fillers and annuals to fill our pots and other small spaces. If only they could help us hypnotize the squirrels to stay away from our tulip bulbs - well, that would be a six star review. Their indoor insulated greenhouse has an abundance of indoor house plants. We are not purchasing for indoors, but the selection they have is amazing! Watch for their Christmas festivities - Santa will be there! Added bonus: After Hobart, we like to treat ourselves to an amazing personal pizza at Cascadia Pizza, at the intersection of the Maple Valley Highway and 216th. Since Jessica at the nursery gave it a double thumbs up, we had to give it a go. Great people/great pizza with the river out back. read more

This is by far the most welcoming nursery I have ever been to. The place felt like I was walking through a garden. All the staff were friendly, kind and very helpful. Thank you Chris for giving us a great walk through of everything. This nursery has so many different plants than we normally see in WA. You just have to take the beautiful drive out there and check it out. read more
