I shopped at this Hobby Lobby location today, May 9th 2024 As I was in the check out lane at 3:50 pm, I was making small talk with the cashier and the store manager who were both very pleasant. The cashier handed me my bags and I left the store. When I got home, I realized that one of the bags I was handed was actually someone else's As it had items that I did not purchase. I should have stayed home and made dinner but I decided to get back to the store as soon as possible to let them know that I had a bag that I didn't purchase. When I arrived at the store, there was a different and very unpleasant manager and cashier working. I let the manager know about the mistake. By the way she looked at me, you would have thought she was accusing me of theft. She had a nasty look on her face and never even thanked me for promptly returning this bag. I heard another cashier ask her if that was the bag that they had been looking for. With a snear, she said "yes, it showed back up" You are welcome Hobby Lobby!! I was honest and returned the bag promptly and wasn't even treated with basic respect not to mention gratitude. I thought you were a Christian store? One of your employees sure wasn't very Christian like today !! If something like that ever happens again, I may just think about chucking it into the trash and saved my precious gas money. read more

Can't say enough good things about Hobby Lobby and this Hobby Lobby is top notch as well. Clean, organized, well lit, well stocked and friendly employees make for a great store that keeps you coming back!!!! This is the only place in the giant town of Columbus Indiana where you can get models and Model rockets. Over my time served in Columbus. The model selection is getting smaller and smaller. The selection is as good as hooks drug store was. If any of you remember that place. Have to say they do keep everything g in place and seems to be clean. If you want some art supply's or a knitting needles your in luck they have it. They also have a large selection of large letters. Why I do not know but they do. I always spell out dirty words in the displays. That's the ten year old in me. Lol it's a very large store full of stuff you clean out of a house after someone dies. I tend to digress sorry. There prices on models are way high. There selection is quite awful. As my mom would say beggars can not be choosy. That's why we have the old internet. But if your in a pinch on a long weekend or you want to teach your kids the art of something other than there phone. This is the place to go. If you want sand art they have that also. Basket weaving sets got it. Glass figure in the form of a German shepherd they got it. Only thing they do not have is that old feeling of a community. It's bright it's clean it not for me.
