I decided to give them another chance because I figured that was a misunderstanding and I like to shop small/local. I took an original watercolor to be float mounted and when I got it back it was just matted traditionally. I know he understood what I wanted when I dropped it off, because he told me how he was going to use spacers to keep the art from touching the glass, so it wasn't just a misunderstanding this time. Two chances is enough for me so I took it elsewhere to have it fixed. They opened it up right in front of me and there was my expensive original artwork, spray mounted to foam board. Time will tell if it starts to yellow and discolor. So upset and disappointed about all of this.

When I dropped off the frame for the glass replacement, I was told it will be ready by end of day and I would receive a call. Fifteen minutes before their closing, although I had not received a call, I stopped by to pick up the order. They provided a complimentary hook to hang the frame. On a Friday, I dropped the frame for the stand attachment. I was given an estimation of ten days, including a week to order the stand. The following week on a Saturday, I decided to check if the stand had been received and find when the frame would be ready for pickup. I was pleasantly surprised the frame was ready for pickup as the job was done several days earlier. Although happy with their service, their communication could definitely be improved.

However, she forgot to add a hanger to the frame, so I had to take care of it myself when I got home from vacation. I had four pieces to be framed, each from 8x11 to about 16x20, and the prices, while higher than something like a Michaels, were certainly in line with what one would pay for custom framing work. One starts by making an appointment to come in, and Andy will help with options and pricing. He has a ton of his work on the walls in the shop, including many pieces for sale. I dropped my pieces off and he promised it within two weeks. Much to my surprise, I got a message less than a week later that the work was done! Since it was a gift for my wife, I took her with me to see the finished products, and she was thrilled! I'd highly recommend Andy for any custom framing work, and again, you'll feel better knowing you supported someone who lives in the community and truly does great work.

After a couple of years, the art work in a couple are drooping probably from poor choice of tape. So when I recently acquired a couple of new art pieces I decided to get them framed correctly. They were able to work with me on the price and my fear of having an inferior product was relieved when I picked up my frame. Even though they don't specialize in jerseys, they did a great job! The reason why this wasn't a five-star review was that they told me it would take 1.5 to 2 weeks, but ended up taking 2.5 weeks after I called. It wasn't a big deal to me, but it definitely had me stressed that it was not going to come out right. If time is not of the essence, this place does a great job for a great price!
