I was sold a Bible that had a page ripped ( Isa 43), was missing a book (1 thessalonians), and multiple chapters out of the book of revelation ( Ch. 18, 19, 20 and 21). They refused to exchange because I had wrote my name in it when I first got it expecting that it was a perfectly good and new Bible. I believe they sell resused items and I am most of all disappointed in their customer service and lack of sympathy for the matter ( ie gift card , exchange, or refund). In the future I will stick with Amazon or, Michaels or TJ Maxx, and encourage anyone else who shops there to do the same . read more

The store itself is fine, but Linda with the welt on her forehead in the fabric section is a rude, incredibly unprofessional individual and the fact that the workers around her have to do her job for her is so awful. She wanted to pretend like I didn't exist when waiting for my fabric selection, another worker had to come help because she was being rude on purpose. read more

At first entry, the silk flowers were nearly empty. I was glad that my trip here this time was not for silks. Everyone (6) in the front seemed happy enough. I think they close in about an hour. A few shoppers were still here tho' with my husband and I on a Thursday night at Hobby Lobby. We came fir fabric. I am a big Quilter. I mean everyday type of sewer. A woman was sweeping the fabric section with one of those giant flat floor sweeps. Only fall fabrics were on sale and they were stunning. Very nice colors. To our great delight and surprise, we found the exact fabric that was used in some quilt blocks I had ordered from eBay. We quickly swooped up the only 3 remaining coordinating bolts and looked around a little. Another woman was hanging around the fabric department while we were shopping, I figured she was waiting fir us to come to the cutting table. When we got to the cutting table, the woman that was hanging around got on the phone and called for someone to come to fabrics. A lady came out of the back, after a second call by the woman. She was NOT happy that SHE had to be the one to come and help some stupid customers: "US"! She clearly was complaining to the woman who had called for service. Disgruntled but not trying to disguise it much she asked us what we wanted. My husband is a very social type person AND he is Italian. If given the chance, he'll talk your ears off. He had asked the woman about the fabric and she said curtly, you'll have to ask the woman in the morning who works here. As if it was midnight and they woke everybody up to come help us cut 3 one yard fabrics. I felt like an inconvenience and just wanted to leave. My husband asked another question and you could hear the woman's anger that he could even try talking to her again. I asked my husband to not ask anymore questions. The woman sweeping the floor has a large pile of fuzz and floor stuff in a pile ... so my husbAnd, the one who loves to make folks laugh, asks her "that shows they never sweep here huh?" I thought the grouchy fabric cutting woman was gonna flip her gourd!! "NO SIR! We cut a lot of fabric today, this gets swept everyday..." she went on. I asked my husband to please be quiet and not look at anyone or speak. I could not get out of there fast enough. I can still find it hard to believe in this day and age, with the way sales are needed, that we were treated that way. $50 in fabric isn't enough to warrant customer service, I hope if you go here, you can buy enough to as least be treated like another human. One star because the store seemed clean and neat and one star for cashier and the folks in the front lines. Hope you get whatever is wrong with the fabric department fixed soon because the holidays are coming, that's a big time for sewers. read more

I have always had great customer service at this Hobby Lobby location. I went yesterday and picked up some greenery and on impulse bought a canister set. Each of the canisters and lids were wrapped in packing paper. Today started off rough. Movers can't be here until noon, deliveries postponed until tomorrow...typical bad day. So I'm setting out the canisters, and as I unwrap them I see this little drawing on the packing paper. It was enough to make me smile, laugh, and focus on what I can accomplish now. Lots of options at this Hobby Lobby. Very well organized and a lot of specials. I found 5 canvases for $9.99 which was a great deal! Unlike some hobby lobby stores where you get a bit overwhelmed by scattered items this one seems to have clearly makes sections so you can navigate as slowly or quickly as you would like. It is June and already they have items for fall and Christmas for those who like to buy in advance. A little early for me but they keep things for all seasons for all buyers. By far one of the better stores I have been in! The only section I felt was lacking was their furniture section which didn't have much variety in store. read more

This store is neat & orderly. But they could definitely work on their customer service skills. There are plenty of sales associates on the floor, stocking, returning merchandise to their proper locations - but none of them speak to the customers, say hello, make eye contact, ask if they can help you find something... THEN you arrive at the checkout lanes where there is one lane open, MAYBE two if you are lucky. If you have been here, you have experienced this. read more

My boyfriend and I looked all through the store and found a table we really liked. We asked before checking out if I could pay for it and he could come back in an hour or two with a vehicle to haul it (otherwise we would have left it tucked away where we'd found it and taken our chances). They said yes...I paid, and they set it aside and taped a sold tag along with a copy of my receipt to it. He came back with the vehicle and they had sold it to someone else! Store manager tried helping him find something comparable and he ended up bring a different table home. I'll be returning it as I don't like the size or style. I'm so frustrated over the whole situation. Mistakes happen, but there should have been more effort put into making the situation right. Maybe offer to check with another store to see if they had the one we purchased and/or give a store credit for the hassle. At least ask when the transaction was completed if we were satisfied with how it was handled. I guess that's too much to ask. read more

5 times out of 10 I can find what I'm looking for, after searching the whole store for some assistance, I am quickly dismissed but an employee. I shop here often for the supplies but the customer service here is THE WORST. Michael's staff is way friendly and prices are more fair but they don't always have what I'm looking for. So back to the rude denton Hobby Lobby I go. Maybe one day they'll hire some friendly people. Maybe it's managements fault? read more
