Let's be clear this is the Frisco location. I have bought and sold from kids kids and other locations and never had an issue with timing when selling ever. Honestly, I was pretty excited when walking in the door because of how much bigger this location was than any location I've been to. Boy was I wrong Mind you on the door it says selling hours are until 6 PM. I walked in at 3:40 and they said oh the selling counter is closed and I said oh wow I thought you stopped buying at six. I drove an hour to get here. I simply got a sorry. As if it was not her problem. Lady could absolutely care less. Luckily my mother lives over here so I was able to go spend some time with her. But I feel that's very unprofessional if you're buying hours are until 6 PM that's when you need to be buying until. Not make up the time as you go. I literally sold a 375$ swing to kid-to-kid and in return I got 15.00$ . I would never come back & that was my very first time going , my friends spoke so good about the store but I didn't receive the same treatment or same prices & to top it off we had similar swings. read more

Horrible customer service! We come to Kid to Kid for their reputation in excellent service. The manager Jackie should open her own resale store and name it Jackie's Junk. Definitely do not recommend this location. The store was dirty and smelled horrible. I was told if I stay in store that I was next (the purchase in front of me was only a small pile of used clothing) after 40 minutes of waiting I realized one of my boxes was still sitting on the floor untouched. When I approached to find out if they were working on it they told me I was next. At that point I felt I was wasting my time and asked for my items back. We have definitely appreciate Kid to Kid the owners and staff have been nice. One thing to watch out for, their final sales prices items can not be returned. so sometimes if the size/brand runs small and you didn't bring your child with to try on you may have an issue. They do have maternity items and baby good as well which appears to sell pretty fast. There is a small play area my children like to play in so that is sometimes helpful. Shoes can sometimes be a struggle to find the right sizes but everything else is arranged very orderly by sizes and very easy to look at. Items are in good quality. The store appears clean on each visit. They also have some new items for sale too. If I recall Dance outfits shoes and tights are sold new. Especially helpful as there is a dance place close to them. read more

Fair pricing on the bicycle I purchased for my daughter and they have a great selection of books, clothing, toys, bows, shoes, baby items, ect.... I have also sold clothing here and they don't accept everything which is actually a good thing. That means they are selective, which means when we the consumer choose to buy we are getting quality gently used products. The staff is friendly and appreciative of the business they have come in their stores. Called to make sure they were taking in clothing and toys and the woman I spoke with was very friendly; when I showed up to the store with my items an hour later, not only was she NOT friendly but she was kind of snotty when she said there were five people ahead of me and that if I left the store (she couldn't guess how long it would take so I mentioned going to Sprouts and coming back in 30 minutes) I would be moved to the Drop-off list and would have to accept whatever offer they made me. My daughter's stuff and I left the store. I am at another Kid 2 Kid, and they are much nicer here. Will not be going back to K2K Frisco as the experience is always the same. read more

I took a load of clothes and toys into this store after a garage sale. It took two of us three trips to carry it all in. After about 45 min. we were told our clothes were "too worn" and our toys were "too old." Some of those clothes had never been worn, others were worn a few times, and not a single item had a stain or loose thread! The "old" toys were Little People sets, Playmobil sets, a dollhouse kit (still in the box and still sold on Wayfair), and a little house from Magic Cabin. I know the man, who clearly needed a shave and a shower, just wanted me to say, "keep it," but we carried it all back out to the car and left. I think the con of this place is to offer you either nothing or just a few dollars so that you will just say "keep it, it's not worth taking home." I will NEVER enter this store again. read more

Do not take your children's clothes here!!! I brought in 2 HUGE boxes and they gave me $29 for it. Most of it was new or completely new condition! I am so shocked! They told me I could stay in the store for an hour while they went through the boxes or if I left the store it would take 3 days and they would donate the rest of it. Well I couldn't hang out in the store long at all because they had very little merchandise and the quality of their clothes they accepted was horrible. Their plan was for me to leave the store because if I left it was all donated to them anyways so they barely gave me ANY money the clothes I brought.
