Take makeup for example, I'll go in hoping to grab a drugstore dupe but nope ! Most shades are sold out or the ones in stock have been opened and used as testers. See clothing you like ? Great if you're a size XXS or XXL but not much in between. Yeh the sales racks are always a disaster but that's typical. I don't buy groceries here. Why? The checkout situation is annoying. They have like 15 registered but none are ever open. Instead they have a handful of self-checkouts with lines that are soooo slow. My most recent trip prompted this review. I just needed cheese, literally a couple packets of cheese and still ended up waiting over 20 minutes in line. For cheese. Never again. I'm so over self-checkout. All you Target fans can keep it , I'm out.

After the 1st round of dancing, they had their first hula lesson. Yes, hard to believe that they had 2 hula lessons. After the lesson, the dancers took a 30 minute break while the band serenaded us. Unfortunately, the band quickly ran out of Island songs. There were 3 guys playing. The singer played the ukulele but the bass player and drummer only played sometimes. Lots of people went home during the serenade. Hawaiian Bros had the only food booth (there were supposed to be lots of others). The line wasn't too long, maybe 30 people, but it did not move. No idea why, since their grinds were pre-made and just needed to be scooped into really small bowls. We've eaten at their restaurants so we knew they usually serve bigger helpings. Tahiti style dancing was much better. Their costumes looked authentic. Yes, we've been to many luaus. We reached the time for lively drumbeating but they spent too much time giving their drum "backstories" and a long "drum solo" without dancers. Finally, there was more dancing from Tahiti that was very good. The dancers knew their moves. We left when the 2nd break for the dancers started and the band serenaded us again. This was supposed to last 30 minutes and then we would get to see the dance with the LED lighted poi balls. This is one of the very few times we've left a show early at Grandscape.

I came in specifically looking for Elmer's adhesive glue and an X-Acto knife. I found an aisle dedicated to different types of glue, but strangely, the Elmer's glue wasn't there. It was a bit frustrating that all of the glues weren't grouped together in one logical spot. On the bright side, once I finally tracked down the glue, I found the X-Acto knife immediately right after. I know the floor layout and corporate stocking decisions aren't the fault of the everyday employees working hard here--somehow it just makes sense to the higher-ups, so it is what it is! Standard Walmart experience overall.

Never got the phone call the night before to give us delivery window. Contacted sales person and was told 'you're scheduled for June 1st" (not asking if this date was ok. It wasn't. Then were given June 8th as delivery date. No phone call night before, no contact june 8th as of 1pm. At 2 pm, email stating delivery would be june 9. then told 10:30-1:30 window. morning of the 9th, time change. Oven finally did arrive, the gentlemen that delivered and installed were professional and friendly. Installation was done in about 15 minutes.

It's nice I guess for an average experience shopping but the employees that man the seafood and deli section aren't helpful at all. Especially the seafood section guy with the goatee I think. He acted like I was bothering him and became very passive aggressive when I was asking about the cuts of the salmon and pricing. I pointed at the sign that said $10/per Ib and he passive aggressively gave me 2 pounds for $21 with a passive aggressive smile knowing he knew what I meant. All bagged up. When I got to the register, I sent it back. I don't like doing that, but I also don't like anyone passive aggressive either and thinking they're going to get over on me. Overall, nice for quick pick up items, but actually interacting with the employees? No. I've only had one good interaction with an employee there who seemed happy about his job. Maybe it's management. Idk.
