quality service quality plumber. Had a hot water tank installed old one removed.. plumber noticed I had leaking behind the drywall cut. Drywall replaced about six pipes.. plumber said this tank I know what it was. I said I was told by the company Pippin Brothers that sold it to me that it was a hard water softener.. that was a filtration system. So it was like getting hit in the face.. not only was a water softener, but it wasn't filtering through the house so he had it configure the entire filtration system put a new line in because it wasn't right and run it back through this house itself like it was it was wrong. This plumber spent a lot of time fixing the mistakes of another plumbing company, which should've never happened, but it did a quality job. Also install toilet with gasket because it was rusted and broken and removed old toilet. I will definitely be using this company and Service and plumber again and will not be seeking the service of Pippen Brothers since someone had to fix what they did which is completely ridiculous. read more

honestly super disappointed to hear how my husband and our uncle were treated these 2 past days. they went in to get paint returned and were treated awful. an old lady with white hair gave my husband nasty attitude along with an old man who works in the paint section. they had my husband wait 20 minutes just to get there and tell him they don't want to accept the return. honestly so sad the way they treated them especially since they are always getting all their things for work there almost on a day to day basis. read more

I would love to have a minus stars for this store. You can not trust ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU. I called about a freezer they had in stock. I asked if they would hole it for an hour while I hooked up my trailer and drive the 20 miles to Lawton. Sales "lady" said no problem, got my name and phone number, so I thought it was going to be fine. After I got my trailer on 10 minutes later, she called and said she just sold it. I talked to the "manager" and he informed me they still have the 5cf freezers, but no more 7cf. I was pissed and still am. I'm a 100% service connected Vietnam Vet. To treat us like that is out of line, but then again we are talking about Lawton where they never really liked Ft. Sill being there. I would look to Sutherlands where they honor their word and had much nicer freezers in stock. I bought a 20 cf for only $899. I will probably not go back to the Lawton Home Depot, and I would recommend you don't bother. read more

As far as a place to get tools, screws, supplies to build things, this place is great, there are a few problems with staffing, but overall this place is at the top of my list when I need to build something. Being from California I thought every Home Depot had immigrant workers looking for work in front of them, this is not the case I learned. Also this location is one of the cleanest I have been to, it is like someone cares here to clean the place, and ensure the guests who are shopping have an enjoyable trip. As far as staffing is concerned, I can say they do hire some of the not so bright, and some rude people here once in a while, but they do not seem to last long. read more

I have gone into Home Depot here in Lawton many times now. Their prices are good, but good luck finding anyone to help you. The store is always barren. Also they ONLY ever have the very last cash register open no matter how many people are standing in line. Every once in awhile they will have the self check out lane open, but they will never have 2 lanes open for checking out. The store would be so much better if they just had more people working there. If you have to go to a home improvement store, I suggest Lowes right next door. They always have a few check out lines going at the same time and seem to have more people on hand to help you find anything you want. read more

I am from Washington state and am helping a friend put in a laminate floor, we came in today (25th May),we looked around for awhile and the guy running the floor section, J.Y. (name tag was listed as this) came to help us with all the things we needed, he knew his products, tools to use, he figured the sq ft we needed, helped my friend get her credit card app filled out, he got us all squared away, and rang us out! we then proceeded to front counter to pay for the other stuff we needed, got the suv up there, he was pulling the order, drove the order out to us, he and his helper Lindsey loaded every thing in the vehicle! 41 (boxes of laminate + mis) all with a great attitude and smile, this is an outstanding employee, give him a raise, this is also why I only shop at Home Depot the last couple of years they finally got it right, good employees bring customers back. Do not believe this Lawton Home Depot when ordering appliances. I ordered a Samsung Microwave and the appliance sales associate didn't have it in stock although the day before I was told it was in stock and they had several. So supposedly this associate checked and guaranteed that it would be installed Monday the 17 of December. It was ordered on November 27. Was notified that it will now be December 21 . I called and spoke with assistant store manager and he finally admitted he can't really be sure it will be here on December 21. I told my wife that she was being lied to just to get a "sale". After making an online purchase and receiving it approximately 5 days later, I arrived at at the store to find a damaged product. These things happen and I understand shipping problems. So it was sent back for a new one. I was then told that it would be two weeks for a new one. Strange that the first one showed up in five days and this one would take two weeks. But it didn't matter as I had ordered it in enough time to still receive it in time for Mother's Day. Two weeks come and go and I haven't heard anything. So I call the store after three weeks and they say they can't find it, and when they do, they'll call me. After three hours of not hearing anything back I was in town and decide to stop by the store. I don't live close to the store. When I go in, nobody remembers talking to me. So I explain the situation to the lady and she locates my bench. It's still in another state! I tell her that I just want a refund because this was suppose to be a Mother's Day gift and today was mothers day. I was informed that they can't do that and that they'll have to get me a Home Depot gift card. Um, no. I am not going to be forced to spend my money in this store. Then I am told this is the only way they can do it since they're store "system" doesn't talk to their online "system". Are you serious? This seems like a giant break in communication that needs to be addressed. Especially if you are going to charge someone like myself to have something delivered to my house, of course I'm going to elect to pick it up in the store. Even though the store is 45 minutes away. If you're going to deliver damaged goods for in-store pick-up, at least have the ability to refund someone their money should they choose to! Due to the previously mentioned break in communication, the manager proceeds to inform me that the online store will have to issue the gift card since the money wasn't initially spent in the store. He said it'll be there in a couple days. When it gets there they'll have me purchase something in the store for the value of the card and then refund me the cash. Seems like a difficult process for just a refund but hey, at least it's a plan. 10 days later (not my definition of a couple days) I finally get a phone call saying that card was there. That was yesterday. Today I make the 45 min trip back up to the store to get my card and when I get there and tell them who I am they don't know what I'm talking about. Wow! So apparently these "customer service" people do not communicate either. Now I understand a little better why their systems don't communicate. I attempt to explain my situation to the people behind the desk and I get a look like I don't know what I'm talking about. I ask to speak to the manager by name, the one I spoke with previously and I'm told he won't be there for another hour, and that I should go up the road to Starbucks and wait till then. Again,...wow. These people have my money and and don't know where it is. The on duty manager is looking for it at this point and 45 min later it is located. And of all places, the vault! This seems like the first place I would have looked! This is where most people keep money. Or so I thought. So the transaction was made and the on duty manager gave me my cash with $20 extra for "compensation." And again, Wow! read more

We recently purchased a stove and overhead microwave from The Home Depot in Lawton, OK. Both products are made by Whirlpool and Home Depot had the best price from several stores we compared them to. We are happy with both appliances and are still learning to use them! My main purpose for writing this review is this particular store and the fantastic customer service we received! We picked up the appliances, after we looked them over, and brought them home. We had to have an electrician install the microwave, so it was several days after we picked up the appliances before we could install the stove. We brought in the stove and balanced the stove and thought everything was fine. I turned on the light above the stove, and you could see a dent in the stainless steel top and the area around the touch pad was also bent. Since it was about 4 days from the day we had picked them up, I was afraid the store wouldn't replace it. They not only replaced it, but delivered it to us and had it installed free of charge! We live about 45 minutes north of Lawton, so there is normally a charge. Thank you to the Lawton Home Depot for being so courteous and helpful with this problem. A special "Thank You" to Vivian in customer service for all her help and kindness! This Home Depot will have our business the next time we need an appliance or any building products. read more
