If I could give this store ten stars I would do so! I had been in a year ago to check out this store when I was in the area and was very impressed with it. However, recently there was a Yelp event there and I got to actually experience what they do in the store. Individually we made a coaster that had a decal of the city skyline. We were given directions, tools, and materials. They have community type tables and I was able to sit with a few other women. We chatted while we were putting our coasters together. It was interesting to see how we were all given access to the same materials and how different everyone's turned out. Your individuality really shines through. I'm not a very creative person but the space you in is very inspiring. As a group we made a very large piece of art. It was many layers and included a stencil decal. It, too was our city's skyline. We are Pittsburghers and we LOVE our city! We are PROUD of our city! So, we love anything to do with our city. It was very cool how we were given a picture to guide us but our piece didn't have to look identical. We could be creative and make it however we wanted to. I jumped in to help sand. We were using a huge wooden board instead of a canvas. It was so big that up to three people could work on it at one time. After I helped to sand I started laying the first layer of paint. We were given different colors. We splattered them, brushed them, and even used our fingers to paint with them. Every person approached the "canvas" differently. It was so interesting to see. It definitely was a team building experience. Everyone got along and we let everyone "do their thing". The end result was a true piece of art. Everyone loved it. That doesn't happen often. I think the employees are so encouraging and the space was so inspiring that there is no such thing as "doing it wrong". We had put our names in the drawing and one of the ladies won and was able to take home the piece of art. I was a little envious. However, while spending time working on my coaster and on the group piece I really started to think of all of the ways you could bring together friends, teams, or groups together for a fun experience. They are willing to help you make anything you would like to make. If you go in and talk to them and show them your idea they will do their best to help you make it happen. They also offer projects there that you can make that range in price so it's affordable for anyone. I learned that they do a great event for Mother's Day. Next year I'm asking my family to join me in experiencing that event as my Mother's Day gift. They have other special events as well such as Star Wars, Harry Potter, and others. Don't wait! Go get your art on!

After a very long week my wife set us up to safely relieve some huge tension…read more The owner greeted us and helped us with our armor and shared how he started such a different business. What an unbelievable experience... turned on some music and smashed anything and everything - BEST WIFEY MOVE ON YHE PLANET!!! Great experience!!!

The only thing bad I can say about this place is it was a little difficult to find. I'd recommend…read morecoming when it's still daylight out for your first time. The entrance to the space is down a somewhat steep driveway situation in the back of an establish business. Not sure how well lit their parking lot would be at night and you may feel a little nervous until you get inside. The interior is a much larger space than I thought it looked from the exterior. I believe there are two break rooms so you could be breaking next door to another group at the same time. It's partitioned very well so you shouldn't see their debris flying into your space but you will likely hear their "rage" (laughter and breaking). The owner was super nice and a great conversationalist. She provided us a music genre of our choice in our room and an extra bonus box of beer bottles. She also provided us with gloves and a face shield for safety. My reservation was for a whole hour but smashing 3 boxes of items and chatting with the owner might have only taken us 25 mins. She offered us more smashables for very reasonable prices but as middle aged adults we assumed our throwing arms might be sore in the a.m. It was so fun and we laughed a lot together. Great short little date. I brought home a Santa tea cup as a souvenir from our box. Didn't have the heart to smash him and his reindeers. Overall, GREAT experience. I wish this business well. You can purchase a souvenir shirt also!
