We came in right after open on a weekday and at first it was great. I really enjoyed all the displays they have here. It's really a fun place and I'm glad I came here to check it out. However, I will never step foot inside one of these stores again. Within an hour the place was overrun with really young kids that weren't particularly well behaved. I was disappointed in the lack of sets and the prices aren't any better than anywhere else. I don't know who wants Legos that they didn't assemble but apparently some people must because they have cases full of them. Again, no cheaper than just buying the set so I guess you're paying retail for used merch so you don't have to do the work (although that's kind of the point for us). Even ones clearly missing parts weren't discounted which I thought was very strange. Honestly not sure why they'd even carry that. As for making a custom it's just digging through piles and piles of each and every piece you need to put a minifig together. I'm not interested in sticking my hands in those disgusting germ factories, but maybe you are. It might be custom but it'll take forever and not save you any money. Plus you get to do while little kids are all up in those same bins making chaos of any sorting you may actually do. Easier to buy one that already looks like you and if anything switch hair/clothes on your sets. We did end up finding sets that were worth it in the small bag variety. This place is cool to check out. I get that it's a great way to occupy your kids for a long time with not such a high cost. I'll stick with online myself.

GameStop - The last customers to checkout, they weren't too kind either. What it is to be a POC in America.

Not to mention, earlier in the day at 3:42pm, we showed up to the same GameStop for it to be CLOSED; we waited outside for a few minutes then had to leave. We let the cashier know this and still were denied service. My family and I came to visit from California and figured we would grab a pack or two of sports cards before departing from town, however, this was not a great experience and I will NEVER spend a dollar in an establishment that runs like this. Poor customer service. I shouldn't have to beg if the sign still says "opens" and store closes at 8pm. I come from California and shop at many GameStops as a Pro-member, this was a pretty frustrating and upsetting experience to say the least. I usually don't arrive 5 minute before closing but this was the second time coming back.

I was promptly told they were not taking any more trade-ins even before I could utter that I wanted to upgrade to a PS5. They said I "should" be able to get help at Washington Square... I understand it was a busy day, but I felt like the last thing they wanted at that moment was my business. I've never seen retail associates so unconcerned with asking what I was looking for, which happened to be a $450 dollar item. I'm not going to drive around town to make an effort give my business to GameStop over a measly extra 25 bucks in trade value. You're either going to help me here when I walk in, which wasn't at an unreasonable time, or I'll take my purchase elsewhere. I genuinely couldn't care less about the amount of trade-ins you have to process, which is the reason they gave for not accepting mine. It's your job, full stop. Thanks for making me feel you don't give any effs about customers!

The employee stocking the area came less than an inch away from touching me four repeated times. I then moved to the blanket/throw section, I left my cart at the end of the row, to which a different employee moved my cart out into the aisle and left it. I shopped some more and encountered more employees. At check out the cashier stopped once she was almost done and told me that she needed to rescan my entire transaction. She then did not hand me my receipt at the end to which I had to take it. She then proceeded to shout all the way to the end of the checkout row to where she was. At the end of the checkout stand, as I went towards the door, two employees were blocking the exit. They were having a discussion with one of their friends at the exit.
