Great help choosing gifts for Christmas. Great selection and good prices. Please support local stores like this so we can all enjoy them.

The staff has always taken the time to greet me as I walk in, take a look at my RC car and help me figure out what's wrong and tell me exactly what I need to do or in some cases even show me what to do. I've had such a positive experience every time I've been here! They recently (June 2024) added some fun tracks in the back for customers to use! You can also rent the cars to use back there if you don't have your own. A suspended obstacle course, a drift track and a couple other tracks. If you are into rc cars, or have someone in the family who is, this is definitely a place for you to try out!

Now there is a shelf about half full of the same modes. Nothing to choose from that's good quality models. And the paint section has been bare since at least January of this year. It's like none of the paints or cements or primers have been replaced with new stock. I drove a half hour just to get some paints for my model car I bought, and it is very disappointing. Bare shelves, nothing getting restocked. I'm done going there. I have spent a lot of money at that store in the past, now it's just a ghost of its former self. Better off going to hobby lobby or just Amazon.

Oh, Wheels Dealer, how you have my heart…read more I came in here on a mission to find a specific car and spent hours just enjoying looking through the loads of cars (and I'm not much of a car person). It's located in a car dealership filled with some of the most kind-hearted people. Seriously, what's in their coffee? Every single person who worked around here was so genuinely kind. It's accessible and easy to find a parking spot upfront. When you walk in, you'll be greeted by Coco, the bird. Don't be alarmed when they go from "hi darling" to a screech while you're digging in the store. The owner, Randy, was a joy. He had a Hot Wheels holiday sweater on and was like a Hot Wheels elf running around. Every question, he answered. He was also extremely knowledgeable about those special cars you are looking for and had like radar sensors to find them. This is definitely a collector's heaven, but if you're like me and want to buy some specific Hot Wheels for some specific kids to shove up their noses or whatever, this is also the place for you. There were several bins filled with used Hot Wheels to dig through and pick out. I was able to get a full construction site out of Hot Wheels! Prices are extremely fair, and the owner also helps you find things in your price bracket. There was no problem when I changed my mind or switched a new Hot Wheel for a used one. He let me just dig around and have a blast. I recommend this place for families, for sure. As for collectors, there were a few collectors who were here while I dug around, and they said this is the spot to go to. So if you're a collector, definitely give this place a look. Not to mention, the collectors here were so incredibly kind and generous with answering more questions I had and sharing the love of Hot Wheels with others.

The two guys who work in the day are very friendly and chatty. I popped in to browse their pokemon collection. They had a good collection of packs and a few boxes. I've been to other card stores that didn't have nearly as many. I was there just to browse, but the guys working were more than happy to entertain me and answer any questions I had and also show me everything they had that might interest me.

I've supported this shop for a long time, and they've supported my passion for the Pokémon TCG. I can literally see cards I once traded in sitting in their binders and display cases. But reflecting on my most recent visit, there are two issues that really stand out. 1. Trade-In and Cash Value Are Low The percentages they offer for both cash and trade are noticeably lower than other shops. A competitor priced the same cards roughly 30% higher--the only reason I didn't go with them that day was because their cash flow was low and they couldn't pay out at the time. That discrepancy alone is frustrating. 2. Staffing & Negotiation Have Become Inconsistent In the past, staff have always treated me respectfully. They weren't rude this time either, but historically they've been fair with negotiation--occasionally offering a small discount or working closer to market value. This time, that didn't happen. They insisted on giving "market value" for just one card and then even less percentage for the rest. I asked for around 40%, and we eventually agreed on a deal involving a $10 card. But at the last minute, I was pressured into dropping the deal by another ~5% "so everyone's happy." The truth is, I wasn't -- especially considering I was already accepting a lower percentage just to make the deal work. If I'm a regular customer, I don't expect special treatment, but I do expect fair negotiation. I wasn't even met in the middle at 35% on a $220 value. Bottom Line: If you're looking for a solid selection of cards and okay pricing, this shop is fine. But if you're interested in selling or trading, I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere. Unfortunately, the stereotype about some hobby shops being cut-throat with trade-ins feels pretty accurate here.

I was not disappointed! The store is quite large and filled with items in so many categories. There are silk plants and flowers and a myriad if vessels. Planters and vases. Fir the artist, there are colored pencils, markers, paints, brushes, easels and canvas. In the back are frames if many styles and sizes plus you can custom frame your art. I always like perusing the seasonal section of craft stores and Hobby Lobby has a huge area dedicated to all things summer. Vibrant colored melamine dishes and serving pieces for your patio or garden. Plastic glasses, serving trays, bbq tools and so much more! Lots if fun and whimsical items too. I picked up a pack colorful 5" toothpicks perfect for appetizer platters during these pandemic times. Also grabbed some whimsical dish towels. Lots and lots of modern country and an entire aisle filled with every kind of lantirn and style you can imagine. They also carry a vast assortment of outdoor cushions and pillows made with sun protected fabrics for your patio and garden. The pillows came in so many vibrant colors, patterns and even shapes. I fell in love with a rattan pillow with 2 parrots on the front. Darn, if only it matched my décor. I was able to find a navy blue and white geometric pillow perfect for the Chase on my balcony I was pleasantly surprised to find so many home décor items. They were organized throughout the store on kiosks by style. For beachy and cozy cottage décor; modern farmhiuse; mid century modern; teen decor; and even an entire display of every kind of pink flamingo one would want - if pink flamingos are your thing!!! Passing the shelves loaded with glass vases, I noticed a short round vase with a silver band around the top, the perfect mid century modern vase for fresh flowers, perfect for style. Even better since it was on sale for $4.99! It immediately went into my shopping basket. So for a random first time visit into this store, I ended up with an assortment of items that I never knew I needed, but absolutely had to have. Will definitely keep this store in mind any time I'm in the Clackamas area. It is always worth a run through.
