The lighted area for a tribute.

Stumbled across this place after breakfast. Looked at the window and really liked what I saw. Spices, teas, sauces. And of course honey. If you have never had tupelo honey, you are missing out on the best honey ever. Rich, wonderful and super tasty. Place is loaded with all types of spices too The guy that runs the place is knowledgeable about all the things he sells. Ended up getting tea for my sister, for candyce. And tupelo honey for me. If over in the area again, definitely will stop in again

I really enjoyed this place, a bomb grocery diggity kinda place. They carry unique stuff you will not find at most grocery stores. From all natural Jams (one of which is labeled "Toe Jam") as well as Amish made Jams. They have Jellies, Pickled Products, assorted Butters, various local Spices, Salad Dressings, jarred veggies & fruits and Salsas, jarred Stuffed Olives ....and on and on and on. Additionally, some products are Vegan, Keto, Paleo friendly; no preservatives. Looking around, my Yelp eyes drew me quickly to the Ketchup section... - Bacon Ketchup (whut whut?) - Ghost Pepper Ketchup (will dare to try one day) - Jalapeno Ketchup (on my next list) I eventually bought the Bacon Ketchup, because my curious palate got the best of me. #LuvLuvLuv And before I end this review, I want to list some fun facts that I was told... 90% of the products they sell here are from FL and GA 50% of what they sell are locally made What is more for me to say? #SupportLocal

Been buying from Hoby's since he started selling his local honey and farm fresh produce from a truck off San Jose Blvd. in Mandarin years ago. Every month I buy the local organic honey here - it's delicious and has greatly helped with my allergies. Hoby's country store also sells local jams, jellies, pickled goods, candies, crafts, candles, decorations, gifts sets, etc. Defiantly worth stopping in and checking out!

I made my quarterly trip to Hoby's Honey today, and once again came away very happy with my visit. Ryan (the owner) is very knowledgeable , and always takes the time to help find the right product for the customer. This shop is full of wonderful local products and gift ideas. For the honey lover, there are so many kinds of products, from many types of raw honey to honey spreads and honey sticks. There are also a lot syrups, spices, unique local products, and more. If you're looking for a local honey source, this is a great place to visit!

I was checking out Instagram when I came across a photo of some gourmet lollipops, particularly the Blueberry and Thyme ones. WUT??? I had to get them. I Googled the address and found out that they weren't that far away from me. So I hopped in my car and went down to San Jose Blvd. The place is at the end of a small shopping strip with a bunch of colorful figurines outside. You can't miss it. And like Shelley said, there's a sign that says Hyppo Popsicles sold here! Good to know. Walking in, I truly felt like I was in an old-timey country store. Tons of different flavors of Honey everywhere and the honey gift baskets were so cute. The guy behind the counter was super, duper nice. I asked him about the lollipops and he pointed me straight to them. He also had mentioned that his favorite one being the Lavender & Honey. I checked out the Hyppo popsicles which are sold individually, flavors such as Strawberry Basil, Strawberry Datil, and Horchata sold from two freezers in the back of the store. None for me this trip. I grabbed a four-pack of the Lavender & Honey, Strawberry & Champagne, and the Blueberry & Thyme lollipops and went to checkout. The guy asked me what was I gonna do with them all and I told him I'm giving them as gifts to which he stated, "You're gonna save some for yourself right?" Hee hee of course! He was so pleasant. I must come back to this store.

We spotted the Hyppo Popsicle sign out front and quickly turned in!

The owners are passionate about their mission and so dang nice that you'll be on cloud nine after visiting the space. All of their food is organic and vegan; basically food that you can feel good about! No artificial preservatives, what you see is what you get. My recommendations are the Acai Berry Blast smoothie and the Bliss Bowl, which is spicy tofu deliciousness! I took my first ever yoga class at Fresh Jax. To be honest, I had no clue what I was in for. Afterwards, I felt as if I achieved nirvana. I felt calm and relaxed, almost to the point of a high-like state. For newbies like myself, Fresh Jax has my stamp of approval! Although, they do offer advanced classes for experienced yogis, too. Truly, an eye-opening experience. I need to push myself to come here more frequently, because I felt unstoppable after my initial sessions. It doesn't get better than great people behind a great product. Love this place!

From their variety of fresh organic food and smoothie selection, to their yoga classes. Each of their smoothie and food options are made from ingredients fresh from local farms. I had the opportunity to sample each of their smoothies, and all were delicious and healthy. Eating great food with no guilt, I'm sold! I also had the opportunity to attend one of their yoga classes. I've been to other yoga classes at other studios before, only to leave "not relaxed" I always felt as though it just wasn't a fit for me. Yoga a Fresh Jax was very different. This is the perfect place for those looking to do yoga for the first time. The studio has no mirrors and is a complete no judgement zone. It's a relaxed atmosphere where the instructor clearly explains each technique that's achievable on all levels. They offer a variety of classes from beginners, like myself, to more advanced for those that have been at it for years. Fresh Jax is the perfect place to begin your journey to a healthier lifestyle.

I met Dawn several years ago in RI at her place of business. She has relocated to Florida, and when…read moreshe recently opened her Herbal Shop I placed an order through her website for a a calming tea, calendula oil for skin care and lavender bath salts. We chatted through her social media page because I would like her to make something specific due to a skin sensitivity to some ingredients. She assures me that yes, she can change up ingredients to fit my needs. Yea! In a couple of days the package was in the mail and delivered quickly! Everything was wrapped up securely and arrived intact! She even sent me a message to be sure it arrived safely as the P.O., at the time of the order, was a bit back logged and she wanted to assure me it was on it's way. I often take an Epsom salt bath for back pain and the addition of her lavender bath salts is delightful. There are bits of lavender in the mix and it's soooo soothing to have the gentle scent added to the occasion. I have to take the bath anyhow, it may as well be an event! The bath salts are packaged in a sturdy glass container that will come in very handy for storing other bits and bobs when the bath salts are used. I have been using the calendula oil in the evenings to help with skin smoothing. I use a cotton swab to get just a bit and rub it into those tiny lines around the eyes, mouth and basically all over my face. I also use it for first aid on minor scratches; which I do seem to get a lot of. I'm not exactly graceful or dainty. Burns I have managed to acquire from cooking also get a daub of this stuff as well as any dry skin patch (hello feet) and her website states this is good on diaper rash. Give this item a look as it's uses are many and varied! The tea is very mellow and on these cold winter nights, a nice addition to my bedtime routine. It's a loose tea and I have a couple of loose tea infusers, but if you don't, a small mesh strainer would work. Pour the steeped tea through the mesh to keep the tea leaves out of your cup. It doesn't take much product to make a nice cup of tea. It's almost time to place another order with Dawn. Her website includes directions to the brick-and-mortar location, a 'shop' with product information and a 'contact us' section to easily send her a message. The physical shop recently moved to Precision Medicine, 3546 St. Johns Bluff Road S, Suite 108 if you are in the area and want to stop by. If you are keeping socially distant just now, place an order online! Her inventory includes face cream, hand sanitizer, a variety of teas, sun protection, lotion bars, oils for a variety of uses including massage, salves, balms, Elderberry syrup, and baby powder, Click on the item photo in the 'shop' to see the list of ingredients. From what I've seen they are organic. That lotion bar looks to be a 'must have' item! If you don't see what you need, or like me have a skin sensitivity to an ingredient, send her a note and ask if she can make something for you. What have you got to loose? You can find her social media page here: https://www.facebook.com/dawnspotions Now, where did I put that list of things to buy from Dawn? . . .
