This store is busier than the TJ at the beach! I felt like a sardine. So, I picked up a few things & a couple of greeting cards(99 cents). The male Cashier was as nice as can be. What a wonderful Trader Joe's location! I came in early on a weekday morning because I happened to be in town while they had the Halloween mini canvas tote drop. Lucky me!! I was so nervous because I do not know Jax traffic and severely underestimated the time to arrive on a weekday morning. Well, to my surprise they were still stocking bags. The employees were all so welcoming and friendly and eager to talk. The store was impressively clean and organized. I'm a huge Trader Joe's fan and have visited locations all over my hometown and other location on trips, however this location exceeded my expectations. read more

I can't believe I've never done a review of this Trader Joe's. I can't count how many times I shopped here since they opened. They have some of my favorite quick meals you can buy at any store. Shopping at Trader Joe's is always fun for me if it's wall to wall full of people or empty close to opening at the middle of the week. There are always friendly employees stocking the shelves, freezers and coolers offering to help find something or look in the back to see if they have more. They always have more registers open than Walmart does during the holidays too make sure there isn't more that 3 people deep lines. Stay back they will bag it for you so please just relax and let them do it. Their brand name wine was $2.99 and given the nickname 2 buck Chuck. The inflation during the last 4 years has put "2 Buck" to rest but it is still relatively inexpensive compared to the what you get for the price. If you're not a complete wine snob try it, you'll like it. We like the red blend the best. They have a large wine selection of many countries to choose from. There is an inexpensive Sangria made in France that tastes just like the Sangria served at many restaurants in Barcelona during our visits there. It still brings us back there. We enjoy the wall of snacks but we especially live the frozen meals. There best is the Orange Chicken which goes well with their fried rice. I'll put that up against the Orange Chicken in any Jacksonville area Chinese restaurants. My personal seafood favorite is Saucy Scallops with Mushrooms. If you like a little spicy, Beef with Broccoli may be a good choice for you too. The frozen pizzas are better than any regular store bought frozen pies and most chain pizza joints. There is another location in Ponte Vedra Beach. Try whichever one is closer to you. They both always have a great flower selection with different size orchids. read more

I love getting flowers from Trader Joe's! They always have beautiful, fresh options at amazing prices. The quality is consistently great, and I was especially impressed by their floral specialist who has been with them for years. She suggested I swap out some of my roses for a different variety so they would last longer--and she was absolutely right. I don't shop at Trader Joe's anymore due to over crowded not a good experience to shop. I have numerous time asked the employees and management if they are going to open another store since this store is so over crowded, they've said they were going to open one on Race Track where the new Aldi's grocery store is but that never happened. So this is my new Trader Joe's. It is in the same shopping center as Millers Ale House. I just moved here from 4.5 hours further south of here and I really like this Trader Joes. They seem to have the assortment of items you get used to if you are a Trader Joes fan. I buy their Indian or Spanish frozen food items for my husband for lunch. They have Butter Chicken, Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo, Paleek Paneer, burrito bowls and so many more for under $5 - in this day and age thats a great price. The store set up is veggies and flowers on the right, milk and dairy and mean on the back and the wine on the left. Their middle aisles are all filled as well. The only issue I have with Trader Joes is they lack certain "must haves" on your grocery list which forces you to make another stop. Items like Ceran Wrap, Aluminum Foil, Ziplock baggies and other must have items in a kitchen would really bring Trader Joes to the "one stop shopping" experience that most other food stores have. read more

Absolutely LOVE this TJ location!!! The florals that I got at TJ were insanely beautiful and the price points were incredible. With 4 different bouquets, I was able to make 3 LARGE arrangements. So pretty! I chose the Almond Creek sparkling wine (my absolute fave!!!!) and the Spritz Prosecco. Both were fantastic!! My guests loved both of them! I also got a sampling of several cheeses & meats for the charcuterie boards!! They turned out so well and my event went off flawlessly! We love going to Trader Joe's in Mandarin to find unique culinary delights. Today I finally found Kimbap! We bought one to try and we liked it so much we went right back to the store to buy more. To my surprise they were all sold out. My wife asked an employee when there would be more and he said he would check in the back since they were unloading the truck. He came back with a case and we were so excite we bought 4 to keep in our freeze! Thank you Ritchie??? for your outstanding customer service! Unlike almost all other grocery stores, trader Joe's does not have, "contains bioengineered food, ingredient". Even Publix, whom I've always loved, now has a lot of "contains bio engineered food ingredient" products. I hope Publix will see that people are against this and will not shop there because of it . The only thing I didn't like about Trader Joe's was during the sc@mDemic depopulation operation, there were 2 young face mask N@zi employees at Trader Joe's and they were infringing on people's Constitutional rights and HIPAA privacy rights. But our Florida statutes now protect us from employees and employers and corporations who may try to do that to us in the future. I've been to the one at the beach, but never to this newer location. My boyfriend was on the hunt for some specific cookies that were offered to him by his coworkers and they said they got them from Trader Joe's. Not sure if they would be at both locations, we headed to the closest one down on San Jose. During this pandemic they had a sign outside only allowing 50 people in the store at a time. Most employees had masks and they sanitized each and every cart. While we looked around for the cookies some plants in the back of the store caught my eye. I've been wanting to put something nice and colorful out on my balcony for awhile now and a fuschia pot holding a mandevilla plant beckoned me to take it home. I love it. We found his cookies with the help of an employee. They're actually called French Crepe Wafer Cookies and he grabbed like 3 boxes of them. I tried one when we got home...they're pretty good if you're trying to be good about baked stuff and the slight sweetness to them is enough to satisfy. We also picked up some scallops (which I didn't know they carried), fresh salmon, broccolini, salad dressing, seafood sauce, and some hard kombucha. That last one was a surprise find and my boyfriend quickly snatched up a 6-pack. I tried 1 bottle and you can barely taste any alcohol in it. Super glad we didn't need to go way out of our way. Love this place! They carry all my favorites! If you know Trader Joe's, then you already know they always serve free samples. At this location the free samples (including coffee) are served in the back right corner. Today they were also serving free samples up front! It was a good day to be at TJ's! Some of my favorite things are great selections of quality produce, lots of healthy food options (such as Dolmas) and even some not-so-healthy yumminess like Belgian chocolates! This location is so convenient. Just a couple short blocks South of 295 on San Jose. (West side of the street) I buy my herbs here because the plants are always healthy and why buy old dehydrated spices when you could be cooking with awesomely flavorful herbs? The service is always fantastic and the people who work here seem to be happy to do so. This is a very pleasant place to shop. read more

I love Trader Joe's and this location is conveniently located near my work. I'm surprised that there are people that have never shopped here before. My boss for example shops at Winn Dixie and I forgot the reason why but she actually shopped here recently for the first time and liked it. She hasn't converted from shopping at Winn Dixie yet though. TJ can't replace a regular grocery store but there are so many things you can buy here at the same price or less than a regular grocery store. And for the don't have to read the ingredients if you're trying to avoid artificial dyes. A lot of the food is still processed but it's "healthier". Ok so what are some of my favorite /regular items? Dog treats, lite Mexican shredded cheese blend, ground turkey, Hold the Cone! Mini Ice Cream Cones, mochi cake mix, Cauliflower Gnocchi & pizza crust, seasoning (Everything But The Bagel Seasoning Blend is particularly good), Baked Cheese Crunchies, eggs, sliced pepperoni, organic rainbow carrots, pumpkin cream cheese and pumpkin bagels (both seasonal - it's pumpkin galore come Fall season) and so much more!! They have an awesome return policy and you can ask to try anything in the store. Check out the Fearless Flyer for new / feature products. The Ube ice cream is all the rage right now and is pretty good. The cashiers are really friendly, I end up having random convos with them most of the time and don't ask me the generic question like "What kind of dog do you have?" when they see that I'm buying dog treats. I LOVE TRADERS JOE! i have not been to the other location which is at the beach so I will be a little biased here for loving this location more lol This Trader's Joe is located in San Jose and on the shopping center with barnes and nobles and other store, Parking can be tough because people come and go but I am an early bird and try to be here on saturday by 8:30 am and so far it has been wonderful. This Traders Joe is a little smaller compare to the others, i have been to the state and they are bigger. I love that the prices here are very reasonable from fruits to vegetables prices are great. This location is always clean which I love! They have great selection of flowers which their flowers last a looooong time! I used to get my flowers at Costco but after buying it here and it lasted forever this is my go to! I also love their frozen foods! of course not everything is great but most of them is great! my personal favorite is the butter chicken, the birria meat and the mushroom! Trader's Joe is definitely a wonderful place to do your grocery and employees here are ALWAYS happy to help! read more

My older daughter for some reason thought that the idea of visiting of Trader Joe's would be the highlight of our vacation if not her entire life. Personally I'm not getting giddy over visiting an overpriced grocery store but whatever, it wasn't too far off of 295 on our way to Ormond so we made a brief stop. First impression is that unlike most grocery stores where we're from in PA this place is very small. I guess it's all about having a curated selection of things versus somewhere like a Wegman's where you can get 27 different types of chips. Here, more than likely it's only going to be 1 or maybe 2. One interesting thing I noticed that says something about the clientele that shops here. During our brief time in Florida, masks didn't exist anywhere be it in a gas station, restaurant or a bowling alley but in TJ's probably 80% of everyone inside was wearing one. Fascinating. We just got some sparkling water flavors (very good), some snacks (mostly good except the peanut butter pretzels taste like nothing) and of course a canvas bag for the kid so that she can say that she's had been to a TJ's. Check out was easy as every register had someone working and before you knew it we were out and back on our way south. Like Amy S., I don't get the goo-goo ga-ga appeal that this place has. Some things looked interesting and others gave me a nose bleed with the pricing that seemed to be that way just because they know they have a cult following. Back at home the nearest TJ's is a good hour south of me which is fine because while I'm glad we experienced this one, personally, I'm good. read more

We heart Trader Joe's. The staff is always SO friendly. I noticed at checkout that they usually comment on something in our basket. "Good pick! This is one of my favs. You won't regret it!" Typically, there's one associate scanning and one bagging so checkout has always been seamless & super quick. They also pack the paper bags very efficiently too - wish I could say that about other grocery stores. The kids love the little scavenger hunts where you can pick a treat after finding the stuffed manatees or at Easter it was a paper egg hunt. Don't forget to stop in the back corner between the produce and dairy section to check out the food & drink samples too! Today's sample was a Dixie Peach juice and a pretzel with the Trader Joe's Aioli Garlic Mustard Sauce. Also, another associate was walking around offering samples of Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Cups. Yum. Add to cart. The store is smallish only 5-6 aisle but your cart will likely be full very quickly. Frozen goodies (soup dumplings, mochi, pastries), an assortment cheeses, inexpensive seasonings (Trader Joe's Umami Blend, Everything But the Bagel), coffee, pastas and the latest we just noticed is a Beer Grab Bag which is a fun way to try out different beers. I just picked up a few herb plants too. $1.99 for basil, rosemary, thyme, parsley and dill. Now, I'll just cross my fingers that I can keep these little plants alive! Wish me luck! read more

F'en Joe Joe Slims! The TJ gods have answered my prayers. The perfect cookie to cream ratio. Move over Oreos and Hydrox (anyone remember those?). This version with the minimal amount of vanilla cream is what I have been waiting for all of my life! Yes. Literally all of my life. A few other staples I buy here are their Veggie Chips (not the sticks), EVOOs and butter, Coconut Sugar, Coconut Cream in a can, balsamic vinegar, spices in a jar, nutritional yeast, dolmas, mini avocados, tomato paste and sauces, canned tunas, garbanzo and black beans in the cans, any of their salsas, Thai curry sauces, or specialty dips and, of course, the Speculoos Cookie Butter. I like Crunchy. Let's not forget all of the Holiday Limited Editions although I missed out on the baked Cringle yet again. Make sure to stock up on these when they are available during the holidays because they aren't cheap when you order them directly from the company plus shipping. I'm not going to say anything new or more promoting of Trader Joe's than what other Yelpers have already said. This is a great store and the employees are exceptional and extremely helpful. So, I'll start by saying that the store itself, I absolutely love. Buying meat, produce and other food items that I didn't know that I needed, but willingly try, at good prices, speaks to me. The thing I have always truly appreciated most about Trader Joe's was the diversity. Seeing all types of people working there is a rarity in a lot of businesses these days, unfortunately. Several years ago, when I first started shopping at this location, it was extremely diverse. Fast forward several years and that diversity is now severely lacking. When you used to see the U.N. of employees, now it's like the show "Friends". While there is no issue in hiring younger people, I've noticed that it's not uncommon for one person to ring up your stuff, the other bag it and they will talk to each other the whole time. It's like not getting picked to dance at your own birthday party. Now, I don't want to sound like that old guy yelling, "you kids get off of my lawn" and, "back and my day the customer was king," but to not even acknowledge the customer is waaay different than the TJ's that I used to know. All that being said, shopping there is still amazing, but I hope that they get back to their diverse roots. read more

Cinco De Mayo is an excellent addition to the city of Palm Coast. Our second time this week, a few nights ago we dined in lol. My hubby picked up takeout tonight and they didn't disappoint. I placed the order via phone and the lovely lady who took my request was very friendly and accommodating. Still the best and my personal favorite grocery store in the whole entire world. The staff is amazing, food is fantastic. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is! I feel at home every time I shop, if you see something that sounds good but you're just not sure they will open it so you can sample in store! I get so many fun food ideas every time I come by. When I check out it never fails "did you find everything you were looking for today?" Um, really? Everything on my list and much more.
