Awful service. I should have known better when there were no other reviews listed. Not only was my shower wall scratched up from them cleaning, but they also broke my showerhead and the water hose connected to the refrigerator. I was so excited to get home from work to a clean house but instead I got a house full of work for the whole weekend. Additionally when I complained to the company they never called back or followed up, luckily I did not pay them before checking the house out. read more

HOC came and did a cleaning for me yesterday 4/30/2014. I found them off groupon. They had no hidden fees or extra charges. They were quick and did a GREAT job. Received an email from Deidra at HOC apologizing profusely for the mistake, even offering to do the cleaning for free. She asked what days I was available and I responded. She said she would check availability and get back to me. Never heard from her again. Absolutely terrible customer service and now I'm stuck with a $69 credit on LivingSocial (which was actually not totally terrible) instead of an actual credit. read more

I have been using HOC for periodic cleanings for four years and they always do a great job. Typically two or three women come, and they will do everything from changing sheets to cleaning the fridge or oven if needed, and they are very thorough. The quality of the work is very good, the ladies are pleasant and unobtrusive, and they will deal even with a fair amount of kid clutter, thank heavens. I have never had anything broken or damaged, and they do a great job on the tile floors in our bathrooms, which are a pain. It is a small company, tho, and sometimes hard to get a hold of. read more

I had an excellent experience with Home & Office Cleaning. The cleaning crew consisted of two women. I scheduled an appointment for first thing in the morning. The cleaners arrived a bit late. However, they were thorough and did a beautiful job in a relatively short time. And the price was reasonable. Thus I'm willing to forgive their tardiness. read more

HOC was recommended by a neighbor on our neighborhood list serv a few months ago. We were in dire need of a new service so we reached out and scheduled a first time cleaning. We have been on a weekly cleaning schedule with HOC ever since. The employees always arrive on time and are very pleasant. The one time we needed to change our regularly scheduled appointment, management was very easy to work with and accommodated us with no issue. Cleaning-wise, the employees leave nothing untouched, which has been a problem for us with other companies in the past. Sorry to hear about the 1 star review - these guys did a FANTASTIC job for me! I have been cycling through cleaning service after cleaning service, letting the offers that come through Living Social/Groupon steer me. These guys were good enough to make me want to use them as my "regulars"! They are the first company to cover all the items that are a "must" for me- change sheets, clean enclosed porch, change/remove trash and recycling. They clearly moved things to clean (vs. cleaning around them) because I had to take a second to locate things that got shifted. In my opinion, not a bad problem to have. I'm definitely going to give them another try, I hope they live up to the expectations they set for me! read more

I had a great experience with HOC. I had the Living Social deal. They came while I was at work, and I arrived home to find everything very clean--and I'm pretty picky. All the counters were dusted/cleaned, floors were vacuumed, and the bathroom was spotless. I would definitely have them come back. read more

I bought this through living social...and does not nearly live up to the house cleaning I got from another company. Sold as a cleaning for a 3 bedroom house, I had two beds made, 1 bathroom cleaned, kitchen cleaned and dining room table dusted (top only). No vacumning. trash they swept onto my stairs was left when the 1 1/2 hours (which is actually all you get) ended. Although I told them to leave all their cleaning products at the front door since we have custom kitchen cabinets and granite, marble or stone in all the baths/kitchen, and wanted them to use our products, I caught the woman cleaning the kitchen cabinets with an abrasive scrubber about to use it on the custom cabinets, and she also smuggled in some amonia cleaner.
