I've been using Well-Paid Maids for about three years and continue to be very pleased with both the quality of the cleanings -- Tania H has been our excellent cleaner for the past year -- and the management's customer service. (I am writing my second or third review because I see Yelp took down my initial review - I'm not sure why.) When I need to have my house cleaned on a different day or need someone to can clean the apartment we used to rent out below our home, they always respond quickly and almost always can accommodate the request. They charge a bit more than other cleaning services, but I am happy to pay more for knowing that the staff is treated well, with health and other benefits such as paid leave, and the services are consistent and high quality. I had a really great experience with Well-Paid Maids. I was recovering from a fire on my building's floor and a little smoke had gotten into my unit. I had the carpet previously shampooed but I had been working on getting everything cleaned up so there was still smoke dust from that on the carpet. I also wanted the fridge, oven and microwave cleaned just in case. That's mainly all I requested. Sayem (Nishad) did a really fantastic job on everything. I feel so good having all of that cleaned. Also, he worked really fast and was able to also have time to clean my bathroom toilet and sink which I originally didn't ask for. After each thing he cleaned he asked me to look it over so that I was satisfied. He said if I wasn't, he would do what I would ask him. But I had no problems at all with anything. I was cleaning up some other stuff myself too and he had time to help me put some things away. He said that WPM provides them with high quality tools and the mop he used was one I hadn't seen before and the vacuum was very powerful. It is a lot more powerful than mine and got up a lot of stuff. I chose this company because of their mission to pay people a decent wage and give them benefits such as health care. But the service itself was really excellent and was high value for the money. I really liked like they provided their staff with high quality tools and cleaning supplies. I talked to Sayem during a break and said that it was a great company to work for and he really liked the owner and all his customers had been nice. That was really good to hear. The customer service was great too! The managers answered all of my questions in depth and I had a lot. Overall, a truly great experience! We had a good experience with Well-Paid Maids. Scheduling was seamless via the online portal, pricing was very transparent and straightforward, and I really appreciated their many options for appointment times. Our cleaner showed up right on time (actually a bit early). The cleaning was mostly fine: Dusting was pristine, the carpets were vacuumed well, and the bathrooms were spotless. I had to re-do the kitchen floors and countertops after our cleaner left, though. (Our cleaner did the kitchen last, and I think she ran out of time in our appointment.) Their prices are expensive, which I understand is supposed to pay for living wages and benefits for the team. Use Amy S. as your cleaner! We had previously used Well Paid Maids and felt like it was fine but nothing special - about what I could accomplish in the time allotted. But then we ordered a deep cleaning with Amy and had an amazing experience. She knocked it out of the park. Everything absolutely sparkled. She put everything exactly where it belonged (including organizing some things that I had never found a good system for!). She was friendly and warm, and great with the cat. Overall, the price is definitely high, but I really wanted to use a company where I knew the cleaners were W-2 employees with benefits and a living wage. Rosa is fantastic! She is warm and kind but also professional and takes initiative when she spots problems, always exceeding my expectations. This is reassuring on a personal level because before the pandemic I had tried several different combinations of services and individual housekeepers, usually just for our bathrooms-- and was starting to worry that my expectations were too high. Was I the problem? Maybe, but I think I just needed someone as conscientious as Rosa. She shines. We only have Rosa come in to do the boys' bathrooms-- starting when they hit crisis levels during the height of the pandemic-- and now I don't know how I could ever be without her. I trust her and feel good with her in my home-- I feel good about my home because of her. At some point we would like to expand to a regular full home cleaning and I wouldn't want anyone else. So, we came home today to a completely different apartment. I thought we kept it pretty neat and clean, but hasn't looked like this since we moved in. They cleaned EVERYTHING. The place even smells fresh and amazing. This was our first time using Well-Paid Maids (actually, our first time ever getting our place professionally cleaned) and it was so worth it. Getting our place cleaned was actually a present, and now I'm considering asking for it for every birthday and holiday? As the name implies, it's not a cheap service, but that's a good thing, and I'm glad their employees aren't underpaid. I also felt good about the other ways they take care of their employees--like ensuring that no one is home when they come by to clean, and rescheduling the appointment if the weather is bad enough that driving to your place is dangerous (this happened to us once). She has also always arrived on time to work and has cleaned the house nicely and throughly. They started off with the kitchen, they swept the floors, mop the floors, then they got the stove,. Now that the pace of life is picking up again and we feel comfortable having someone in our house, I finally decided to commit to using a monthly cleaning service. In the past, I've tried services but dropped them because of a lack of attention to detail, and also feeling not-great about how the cleaners were (or weren't) being compensated. Pros: easy to schedule online, great customer service, smooth communication with company and cleaners, my house is spotless and I know our cleaner is being paid a living wage + benefits. Cons: none My Tips: ***if you're booking your first cleaning, do the "deep clean" add-on. They cleaned things that I'm pretty sure hadn't been touched in months and now we can enjoy the ease of maintenance cleaning in between sessions even more. ***even though the cleaners are paid a living wage, I still tip about an average of $5 per hour for each job. I would be tipping for a job well done anyway, and it shouldn't be different (in my opinion) just because I know someone is making above minimum wage. read more

Immediately after writing a review of the poor services received, the company reached out and offered a free follow-up cleaning. The three stars are for the nice service receive from them now and in the past. Unfortunately, this makeup cleaning was also less than stellar. I don't think this service is for me or anyone who requires anything outside of a strict mold. I was able to add everything on (which I still think is too inflexible of a model) but the cleaner did not communicate about where to put anything so much of the stuff is too far back for me to reach now. He took a long time straightening certain areas and left some, like papers and blankets completely a mess. Perhaps it is better if you have a regular cleaner who understands individual needs but that is not what I'm looking for. read more

My initial appointment was canceled the morning of my scheduled appointment. I was aggravated, but understand things happen and they have sick days for a reason. They rescheduled my appointment for Saturday, which was fine. It was a nice day and finding some place to go while they were cleaning was fine. My home is cleaner than it's been since I moved my things in 5 years ago. There were a few little things I expected to be done that weren't with a deep clean (dust on the baseboards, the tops of the window where the latches are, etc). All in all, very happy with the service provided & customer service. Maybe next time, they will make sure they catch those couple little things.
